Out beyond
The western plain
A mighty river
Did once run
It was reputed
To of started
Up Killarney way
They say
It flowed
Accouple of thousand miles
South` west
Down Adelaide way
They say
I think they called it
The Barka
Or was it
The Darling
Some would say
It was big
And wide
Brown water did flow
That way
It survived
Thousands of years
The learnered would say
But then came the gentry
Beef and Cotton heads
Some would say
They divied up the water
And left none
To bath their mother
4ck her
They did say
The politicians
They did apologies
For the gentry
And their ways
Rape is complicated
They would say
Its the droughts fault
Its African gang youths’ fault
It’s the fishes fault
The politicians
Did say
Now a dead river
Does not flow
Its just a shell
Of a dried out old serpent
With its colour drained out
Beyond the western plain
Bourke way
Some would say
I mighty serpent
Once did sway
Authors Note
If the first nation peoples successfully cared for this river
For over 80 thousand years. Is it not a no brainer to give
Management back to them?
The strange caricature reminds me of your odd face,
The twinkling roar clings to your tiny lace.
The way you want to lean on my race,
The sacred passion gives me a new space.
The only path I have seen,
One and only desire you could have been,
One and only proportion you own for the time being,
I am no one else until you see me clearly giving.
The endless life is a paradox of gorgeous wings,
You are no longer out of control for the measured pings.
The unholy genuineness gives me no more rare bliss,
The unknown appetites are the reason for my irregular gist.
It is not common or ordinary anymore,
It is not filled with hate at its core.
It is no longer my salient reason,
No reason can ease my aggressive tension.
Why can I not settle for less?
Why are you not something obvious to bless?
Why don't you know my name until I remind you of the same?
Why can't you see me as nothing more than a dice in this game?
Guess it's Your Thing
beyond today
our tomorrows make
today more complicated
what could have been
because it never was
she doesn't
recipicate what you feel
bound by pride
she decides
what's best for you
it ends up as
what should I do
thus this makes
my reality more real
valer and virtue
this alludes us to
but you can't
be all to blame
you say one thing
I say another
we complicate one
another
tell me what
am I suppose to do
what am I suppose to do
Stables Ramble Gesture
-------------------------------------------
best by morning
take your time
to listen
nights only a day away
great and good evening
something to
believe in
that's what I heard
some people say
the weekend is always
finer
it comes to remind us
the week starts on Saturday
Sunday is for praying
that's we are saying
let's just pray the day away
baby don't you worry
I'll take my time
and listen
listen to every
word you say
Dedicated to writing words
when a long day endures;
it's my escape from stark reality...
in them I find depth and immensity!
Writing words has lured me into the glamorous literary realm,
making me choose loneliness; have I made the wisest choice
by exposing truth and not dying vainly for a long-life dream?
Does life have a specific purpose without a strong voice?
At times I may seem distant, lost, moody and deafened by noise and sound...
letting brash fantasy take over, not wondering if it is really worth
devoting an entire life to writing words when many pleasures abound?
It can't be explained by me: it's more complicated than the mystery of birth!
The clouds parted like the pursed lips of desire,
opening to a dazzling glow of molten fire,
as rays reflect to cover rippling waves below,
and like a fairyland, the colors blend their flow.
Dear Nature is the painter of the finest art
that marks its motion as it spreads and morphs apart
just like a lovely watercolor's subtle smear
captures a complicated vision, true and clear.
I wonder at the stunning scenes that Nature sprays
with fiery sunsets, spreading out their awesome blaze.
This mystery of what we see lasts a short time,
though the fine art of what we see remains sublime.
Am I the one to blame when you come to the realization that you can no longer stay?
Because I know I make everything complicated when I tell you I want to know all of it.
Tell me about your day and what you saw; did you go out and have fun or do anything at all?
What colors did you wear and did you buy anything new? Did you accidentally run into somebody that you knew?
What did you say and what did you eat? Did you come up with any ideas you think are neat?
Tell me the things that you think are stupid because I promise you, I’ll be happy that I knew it.
Tell me the good, the bad, the worries and thoughts. Tell me it all so I know what I have got.
I need to know the details of everything big or small because that’s what I expect when I give somebody my all.
Maybe that’s the problem with me. I want too much communicating.
I think I would make it stop if I could because I ruin everything I have that has potential to be good.
I’m so deep in my mind that I sometimes get lost. I beg for somebody to understand what this costs.
Because I’d physically hand over my thoughts if only I knew how and I’d ask for yours in return because I’m empty now.
we wrestle with our issues
thinking we run this show
unwilling to let God
have the control
let go, let God
submit and release
let go, let God
grant us perfect peace
stubborn, obstinate
Is the nature of man
reluctant to cleave
to God's mighty hands
let go, let God
submit and release
let go, let God
grant us perfect peace
life is complicated
difficulties arise
but as His offspring
we should surmise
God our creator
who gave us life
Sent us a savior
Jesus the Christ
He works for our good
He does the most
gave us love, power
and the Holy Ghost
So let go, let God
submit and release
let go, let God
grant us perfect peace
let go, let God
submit and release
let go, let God
Grant us perfect peace
no longer to wrestle
no longer to fight
let go, let God
show His love and His might
Let go, let God
Heaven's grace

Count back from 10
Leave your body behind
Get the surgery done
Out of sight, out of mind
If only we could heal
Our problems the same way
Cut them out with scalpels
Disposed of in medical waste
But life is complicated
More often than we realise
We can try to simplify it
But it's difficult with emotional ties
Being human takes its toll
That's why we die at the end
No one should live forever
The lessons are part of our journey
Everyone has their problems
No one is exempt from the tests
We only choose different paths
To learn and grow to be our best
Everyone has choices to make
No one else can do it for our souls
The triumphs and the losses
Are ultimately ours to hold
Maybe if we count back from 10
Breathe slowly and meditate
We'll find solutions in the ethers
And raise ourselves to Heaven's grace

I see her in the sunlight as the breeze runs gentle fingers through her hair.
And it is quite a joyful sight to see her smile sneak up unaware.
And I believe I could spend the rest of my life just staring in her eyes.
And it would be my heart's delight for just one minute to see past her disguise.
If I could feel her hand in mine
I tell you that would be divine.
We could be happy but only time will tell
Just me, just me and Gabrielle.
I guess I don't understand just why, but she really knocks me out.
And I don't think there's any way I can withstand her pretty little pout.
And I am sure I could spend the rest of my days listening to her voice.
I'm constantly amazed by my reaction, but I guess I have no choice.
If I could feel her hand in mine
I tell you that would be divine.
We could be happy but only time will tell
Just me, just me and Gabrielle.
Suddenly she's moving in a complicated dance.
She does it so smoothly it puts me in a trance.
I can't help but wonder if I'd ever have a chance
To feel a little bit of her romance.
I see her in the moonlight with the echo of the stars within her eyes.
It is quite a joyful sight but leaves my thinking so disorganized.
And I believe I could spend the rest of my life following her around.
And it would be my heart's delight if she would just return the love I've found.
If I could feel her hand in mine
I tell you that would be divine.
We could be happy but only time will tell
Just me, just me and Gabrielle.
Children see things in a simple way
They could teach us a lot, my friends
Makes sense and it's perfectly logical
That eleventy-ten follows ten
Sadly they have to eventually grow up
And lose their childhood innocence
To see the world through children's eyes
Before life's problems commence
Life's not complicated as in later years
Just black and white, no greys
No traumas, no hang-ups, no challenges
To trouble their brain every day
They say it and play it just like it is
No delusions of fame or riches
They simply live and enjoy the moment
And scratch where the itchy spot itches
Those days are distant and gone forever
But I still remember them well
When I see some tots on a teeter totter
I just sit and watch for a spell
Children see things in a simple way
They could teach us a lot, my friend
Makes sense and it's perfectly logical
That eleventy-ten follows ten
