Winter is over the darkness the grey
I await anticipating the first Spring day
In-between for me ‘tis the season of joy
Snow drops and daffodils thrill the hoi polloi
Hearing sweet birds as they sing in the Spring
Blackbirds and thrushes maybe a lapwing
Early each morn and the end of each day
Joyous for to hear their tuneful bouquet
In-between seasons I'm so happy within
Just like the birds I’m inspired to sing
Winter is ending ~ Spring will soon begin

behind the invisible and locked door Akashic records are re-
corded and monitored (lizards and limbic systems leak fluids)
as druids sacrifice their lives for the harvest and hum…
the swelling cities ramble and babble
beneath sagging and aging wires
disintegrating and integrating
into the impalpable web…boiling brains…
blackness eats mouths growing cancer
as the king’s atomic crown blinds all…
the owl recognizes a voice in the orderly wilder-
ness…the first flakes of snow descend…electric hell glows…
all citizens know and obey the silent titles and epitaphs
etched into our stony silence stabilizing foundations of reality…
the texture of madness caresses my psyche
my eyes envision scythes and scathing words…
…caustic causations eat reason out of my tongue… (who are you?) whispers the auto-
mated unconscious answering silhouettes with symphonies…the negative is the final
answer…contracts contract and species sizzle beneath the riddle penetrating the o-
zone…
The awkward feeling of being late. Anxiously waiting, anticipating, and expecting... Lost in this moment; temporarily out of service. The bus stops here and we still missed it. A bad start to any day. Patience allows this to pass, but this moment lasts. Endless effects from domino blocks that you and you alone mastered its creation. Wasting a beautiful mind with useless propaganda. Moments of weakness are followed by the stalker named Genius. This guy is completely untimely. He can be counted on; only to show up at the wrong time. One hour late.

The big brown spider has three strings of his web strung. He rest 'pon the eve
waiting in the cold crisp autumn air. He is draw up in a tight ball anticipating the sun
to rise above the horizon. A gentle airy breeze zips by cooling the spider to the core
as acorns bounce from tree to roof to ground. Trapped by circumstances of nature
he can not rebuild his web today. Will he go without food with no trap to
catch insects?Web completely gone after heavy wind of the night and early morn.
The wind comesfrom the east with a chill like artic's breath. The brown spider is
drawn up in a ball attached to the ceiling beam of the porch. Will he be able to rebuild?..That will be a story for another day..
Love had been illusive and then I had the notion
to dive right into a cauldron of magic potion.
Its scent rather exotic, its color, something to dread
I swam, hoping a lover would be drawn to my bed
I took a gulp in hopes its magic would work quicker
Maybe I would catch the eye of the new town vicar.
I closed my eyes and thought of a very handsome man
but when I opened them, the only one I saw was Stan.
He couldn't possibly be the answer to my love quest!
He's not exactly the kind of guy I want at my love fest.
He'd never spoken a word to me and hardly had any hair
I dived deeper, hoping he hadn't seen me swimming there.
Perhaps the potion is too old to work its romantic magic.
Another failed attempt to find love. Sigh... life is tragic.
I was climbing out and noticed my skin wrinkled like a prune,
dried off with a towel and heard someone singing a tune.
It was a male's voice crooning, 'I'm in the mood for love....'
and quickly, I said a little prayer, offered to Heaven above
A well-dressed man walked up to me and said, "Hello, miss."
I looked intently at his smiling lips, anticipating a sweet kiss.
I couldn't find a word to speak. I just stood there like a mute.
Oh, how embarrassing it was because this guy was so cute.
"Have you been testing the potency of my new love potion?
We could go for a swim together, if you have the same notion."
I nodded as he took my hand and once again, I dived right in.
The water was warm but there were goosebumps on my skin.
I finally found my voice and we talked on and on for hours.
I can't deny the cauldron's love potion had magical powers.
i am anticipating the arrival of the wind,
hearing the sweet sound of you again
. . . your voice accumulating along my skin
the taste of your love
what more can i do?
i can’t help but trace these moments true
just waiting,
holding on,
touching each whispered kiss;
as my heart collects your bliss
is it possible to wish for more,
more of this -
the sunshine in my hair,
those tiny splashes of rain . .
that i adore
feeling all of you right here -
with me everywhere??
i think you know what i need,
but my lips feel this ache;
. . . as does my entire being
is it possible? yes, i imagine so

Legs slowly extend
moments push and bend
I sigh
must the morning end
as sun meets the skin
deep sigh
Eyes close once again
sheets are folding in
oh my
Fingers are tracing
a day in waiting
like this
air is exciting
lips are inviting
oh yes
Stay in my morning
anticipating
such bliss

Form of Poetry - Lai
The lai is another French form. It’s a nine-line poem or stanza that uses an “a” and “b” rhyme following this pattern: aabaabaab. The lines with an “a” rhyme use 5 syllables; the “b” rhyme lines have 2 syllables. It feels kind of like organized skeltonic verse.

In the depths of shadows, dark forces unwind.
Unleashing violence and chaos are left behind.
Confusion spreads as wildfire, consuming all
And fears bear root in anxious long nights' calls.
Anticipating horrors, civil war's cruel game,
One who was once a victim is now a blame
Sectarian killings, anonymous and grim,
A profession for those without hope within
But does it matter, the name of the corpse?
Lying on the cold roads of an unknown source
A symbol of a homeland sacrificed and sold.
With a throw over his arm and a coat of gold
The flags of treason, flutter high.
While the sounds of bullets pierce the sky.
No sanctuary to seek, no refuge to find,
It's time to run, run, run, your life is designed.
But amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope
A glimmer of light, a way to cope.
For in the depths of grief, unity will rise,
Resistance against the evil that lies
Heroes will emerge, defying the odds.
Standing tall against the onslaught of gods.
They will fight for justice, love, and peace.
Bringing an ending to terror and bringing release
The path may be treacherous, the battle fierce,
But together they stand, their determination clear.
No longer divided by hatred and fear,
Amid the thunders, the howls of a wraith pierce;
They unite, hand in hand, their voices strong.
Marching forward, righting every wrong.
In the depths of shadows, a phoenix will rise.
From the ashes of destruction, hope will arise.
In the Dark I stand motionless
Staring across the moonlit landscape
We are together but I am alone
My thoughts consume me
The silence and isolation comforts me
My heart quickens as the music starts
A solitary howl piercing the night air
A crisp baritone shattering the stillness
Then silence and again the night possesses me
My ears strain against the quiet
Anticipating another chord
Suddenly the symphony begins
Ecstasy fills my body as the music reaches me
Echoing from far across the countryside
At first the arrangement is slow and melancholy
Soon the tempo increases
Their opus lifts me up and
I soar over dew covered fields
Through tree tops that sway in the breeze
My imagination joins them in their chase
The harmony of their voices fills my mind
Then I am shocked back to reality
With the sound of my father’s battle cry
“Whoop…Hunt ‘em up boys.”
His companions reply in a union of voices
My blood flushes my face
Long drawn out howls begin to crescendo
Again my father assails the night
With a shout to his comrades
“Whoop…Tree ‘em boys.”
Willed by my father’s voice the hounds respond
A chorus of choppy barks pierces the blackness
My heart quickens its beat
My pace increases
Anticipation takes control of my steps
Guided by the sound of the dogs
Holding their pray at bay
We slip through dense underbrush
Over tree covered hills
We cross frozen streams
Through meadows of frosted brown
Our search lights penetrate the fog
Hidden in the shadow of a tree branch
Eyes twinkle like stars in the sky
A single shot rings out...
A thud…
Snarls…
Rustling leaves and breaking twigs...
The final gasps for life.
It is done
We lead the dogs away
My heart pounding in my chest
Sometimes, the air is too muggy-
it's hard to catch your breath
you trip as you run up the stairs-
too fast
too much
too soon
it's life.
It doesn't slow down,
pause or give you room to breath
Man's construct of time is treacherous-
it eats away at the inevitable-
it rushes you to fulfill your destiny
by pressuring you to obtain societies' duties-
which are also man-made
a construction of our world-
manipulation at its finest-
what happened to our youth?
When time lasted,
Moments were cherished and continuous-
then sometime around adolescence,
we lost the joy of life
and instead, focus on time's constraints
soon everything is measured by time,
all is constructed according to our linear understanding
we don't fully live in the moment-
rather expecting and anticipating the next moment
this leaves us all;
living in the future-
stuck, frustrated with time's pressures
How could man create such a thing
that destroys our pure existence
