The Time Between the Seasons

Winter is over the darkness the grey I await anticipating the first Spring day In-between for me ‘tis the season of joy Snow drops and daffodils thrill the hoi polloi Hearing sweet birds as they sing in the Spring Blackbirds and thrushes maybe a lapwing Early each morn and the end of each day Joyous for to hear their tuneful bouquet In-between seasons I'm so happy within Just like the birds I’m inspired to sing Winter is ending ~ Spring will soon begin Written 24th June 2022 Contest THE TIME BETWEEN THE SEASONS Sponsor Kim Rodrigues 10th Place Contest BRIAN STRAND PREMIERE CONTEST Sponsor Brian Strand 7th PLACE
