Anticipating horrors, civil war's cruel game, One who was once a victim is now a blame Sectarian killings, anonymous and grim, A profession for those without hope within But does it matter, the name of the corpse? Lying on the cold roads of an unknown source A symbol of a homeland sacrificed and sold. With a throw over his arm and a coat of gold The flags of treason, flutter high. While the sounds of bullets pierce the sky. No sanctuary to seek, no refuge to find, It's time to run, run, run, your life is designed. But amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope A glimmer of light, a way to cope. For in the depths of grief, unity will rise, Resistance against the evil that lies Heroes will emerge, defying the odds.
