Premium Member I Was Livid the Day They Offered Me the Nobel Prize

This letter arrived this morning..
"Dear Sir, it is with great honour to inform you
That with the perspicuity of realistic narrative art
And the diversity and universality of myth
Your work illuminates the human condition in the world of today
You have therefore been awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature
Cheers, you're the man."

What audacity
To disturb this idiosyncratic taste bubble
This stun and cut bluestocking

My 35 second play
My mango tango d drops
My surgical quality

I ain't getting on a horizontal float wheel
Stockholm can screw themselves
When reprobate blackguards are inferring

I'll stay here
If there's a need for shooting to start
I'll start shooting

Fun bags and polluted cities
Round off my morning, honey
Time for a tea

Medieval queens used to drink pints
I'll 'ave two for breakfast
I am not for sale Stockholm

Captain Hook went to Eton
I've got my bachelors
Leave this knack mental giant alone by-blows

Livid Liquid In a Kettle

They say that heart’s anger is like a fire
Just about to burst without head’s control;
The more it’s fueled by the wood of ire,
The more it brings blaze to the furious soul;
When one never gets his evil desire,
His hate turns high like a red-hot charcoal;
And when wall is built between the two men,
No peel of love will ever be given.

Rigid and Livid About Being Vivid

not only rigid
about picture being vivid
also am livid

After looking at pictures of Afghanistan
this is the poem that I came up with.

Premium Member David Is Livid With Covid

“I am David not covid”, tell my wife,
She says "keep two meters, save a life"
I say “this virus is such a curse!”
She says,"Try being an IPC nurse!"

She makes me wash my hands so often,
Gets nose swabbed with bud of cotton,
We can not kiss or cuddle like old days,
"Till lockdown is over that rule stays"

Can hardly recognise own face in mirror,
Face has so long been under mask cover,
We keep it on when on shopping spree,
I hope from this we will soon be free!

I declare my love for her is abundant,
Hint how Boris* got his wife pregnant,
She says, "Let him do what he will"
"This virus is dangerous and can kill!"

Lockdown in some ways, not been bad,
Of certain changes to life, I am glad,
I can now cook dishes I never knew,
Share on facebook for friends to view!

I reluctantly had my COVID jab done,
Feel happier though needle is never fun!
Better days ahead with warm Sunshine,
If you are offered a jab, please get in line!

Livid

This is not me
When anger consumes me
This is not me
I cuss, I shout
I let my tongue out
This is not me

I lose control
I lose self-discipline
I lose myself
I lose God
When I'm fuming mad
This is not me

A new Me born
Each time I get myself burn
And I, always hated myself

"Livid"

my id
faded pallid
I'm so livid, I'd cry,
but the chaotic cauldron is
careless

Livid Resurgence of the Titanic

Livid resurgence of the titanic, overshadowing a civilization.
Vivisection of a kingdom enveloping.
Oppressing destruction, death of a grandeur scale warms its heart.
Living under a hindering moon burrows deeper into his soul

Livid Escape

What I
sought in money...
was my livid escape
from a reality I couldn't break
with haste!
