Judas

Betrayal's kiss was liquidly subtle, wet with firm
intuition
It's knowing lips soft & unassuming exuded
an aura of lust
Full of temptation it beckoned me portraying
illusions of trust,
but behind the mask were sharp teeth seeking
bloody incisions
The intimacy came with bad intentions closely
guarding its actions,
but being adjacent afforded insight into its
deadliest passions
My reaction were firewalls to be erected
at once,
as I stood in the middle of 2 pillars pondering
destruction of fronts
The aforementioned affront was spoken of to
the deepest of mind,
but was ignored as toxic venom intoxicated
the mind
The silver lining? A coined phrase hanging
like ropes from a tongue
"Make sure that you look before you leap" as more
betrayals will come
The warning was heeded so I escaped by the
skin of my teeth,
as the streets watched the intersections speaking
of the fate I would meet
In the end, I was delivered from the mouth of
the beast, emerging with mindset
firmly intact
I was meat, but indigestible because my peace
brought equilibrium back

Dancing Water Hollows

DANCING WATER HOLLOWS

The canal water endlessly moving from passing boats
Creates not waves but dancing hollows between,
Moving like countless competitors in a dance hall
Swirling around in kaleidoscopic color.

Hollows waltzing in time to their internal rhythms
In a constant irregular flux of shapes and positions,
What geometric science calls hyperbolic paraboloids
In countless watery reflections. Dancing figures of eight.

Each with the same rainbow of colors on its edges,
Red and yellow and always with green on the outside,
Lliving reflected imitations of the church colors above.
Yet each is different. Liquidly mobile with endless variety.

God’s informal dance has no rules, just beauty :
Colorful shapes taken momentarily
By wave-hollows. Giant living amoebas with green edges,
And seen with His heavenly microscope.

NOTE
Next time you are looking into a river or lake with reflections between the waves, look carefully at the reflections and see how they are arranged by nature into beautiful patterns.

The Communion of Sighs

There was a moment
without the sound of trumpets or a shining light,
but with only silence and darkness and a cool mist
      felt more than seen.
      I was eighteen,
my heart pounding wildly within me like a fist.
Expectation hung like a cry in the night,
and your eyes shone like the corona of a comet.

There was an instant . . .
without words, but with a deeper communion,
    as clothing first, then inhibitions fell;
      liquidly our lips met
       —feverish, wet—
forgotten, the tales of heaven and hell,
in the immediacy of our fumbling union . . .
when the rest of the world became distant.

Then the only light was the moon on the rise,
and the only sound, the communion of sighs.

Cascade Serenade

Cascade Serenade

Surrounded by a forest of trees
As a bastion from the outer realm
An invisible glade that hides from man
But fauna hear the distant sound
Of water flowing effusively
And from the acme, sanguined rocks
A cascade streaming echoed chords
Of music in the liquidly air
Then to the nadir it descends
Into a torrential waters rage
To inundate the florid grass

The moon creeps in and all is still
Except the sound of crickets words
Extolling nature with their praise

Moments

I wish I could write the prints of the moments
The beautiful times we spent in comments
Our nights meant nothing to the exalted pleasure
For your words were lights' flood without measure.

The simple talks we never had hard to share
The mere moments where your little sparks a big care
The life in your seemingly angered love
And your sleep in the tranquility of a dove.

The time we sat and sang together
And the rhythm of your voice that fine- tuned better
The melodies we both came to hate
And the song that hunt down our hearty state.

These moments liquidly shut in
The clouds are gathered in me and now 'tis the rain
I want to dream and yet not in a sleep
A chance to favourably dreamily peep.

The moments we held hands and cried
Like a wedding disgraced by the absence of a bride
For a change of heart and etching a refresh
Old to new and we began afresh.

Shout this moment, I plead you tell
Proud victors and sure with a yell
I know this is sure a true moment, so true
It is good better best to be two.

Play Me a Memory

A desired flavorsome taste
wanting a cure of a dried out mouth
leading to a mindlessness of waste
liquidly solving a quenching drought

Numbing a charisma of memories
longing for the hazy shades
wiping away loathed theories
a smoldering fetish that slowly fades

A quenched lurch of lust
beggars a sad lonely time
shelving the shell of trust
left only a bitter slice of lime

Muddled thoughts left dehydrated
sidelined by disgust
feelings abandoned and un-exhilarated
a film coated tasting of must.

Drenched and soaked to the bone
blurred eyed and bleary
a time not to be left alone
it's time to play for me, a memory.

Imagine a Deflating Balloon...

with me holding
a three hundred mile long string
yr humbly smiling, dopey baffoon...

I miss you, dear Kinshala
and ache to hear yr sweet voice
just to spend an afternoon with you
over lottery winning would be my choice,

for You are what I want
    above all of that Stuff...
cause Everything will just fall into place
once we are together - Nothing will be too rough...

so I ache and burn, and pain, and pine
away hours and days and breath what is mine

I shivver, I'm a forgivver = I appreciate Air
mostly for knowing that Kinshala is There

don't make me explain
for I can't = it's too plain

as the smile my face has inherited,

when thoughts of You come
I just grin like I'm dumb

and act like I'm liquidly spirited....

So my Kinshala Blue
  I will keep asking you
to help me be patient at best,
with heart in a cast
these memories will last

till the final question is put to the test....
