A black widow spider spins a silk thread
into a near-transparent dream catcher;
filling her with joy, and her meals with dread.
A very cunning, deadly flycatcher
ready to pounce and mummify her food:
she lies in wait, like a body snatcher.
Any damaged web gets quickly renewed
with her sticky silk, resetting her trap:
so, struggling insects remain firmly glued.
She secures victims in a woven wrap:
ensuring they remain alive and fresh
until she sups: draining them of their sap.
Liquefying bugs, entangled in mesh:
she flaunts a scarlet hourglass belly patch
and fangs that inject poison into flesh.
Males must escape as soon as they detach,
for to this femme fatale, they're a fair catch.

Oh chocolate my sweet
My daily dose of joy how sweet it is
Deliciously it melts at first lick
Liquefying its flood of sweetness to pleasure
So silkily smooth it's a mind blown
I love it so much, it, I can not live without
Oh chocolate I must have it daily
Skipping it or rather running out of it, is a crime to my mood and my head
It's my daily dose of joy I need its sweet magic
It arouses my mood high on happiness, and sets me headache free
I crave it night and day like no others
Oh chocolate my sweet
My one desire I love it so
My daily dose of joy
I just can't get enough of its divine deliciousness
It rules my world
People complain I eat it too much
I, smile and moan to leave me be
It's an obsession I'm NOT guilty about
Smile

Here I stand on the front lawn for all gawking passersby to see;
A convenient spectacle on which neighborhood dogs choose to pee!
I try to keep my cool (so to speak) as people make sport of me,
With carrot nose, silly hat, arms formed from branches of a tree!
A corncob pipe clamped between charcoal teeth shapes my face;
I feel so ridiculous lounging here staring off into distant space.
Its those little household terrors who made me who I am,
Then they leave me to thaw in the sun not giving a tinkers damn!
I would just as soon have remained anonymous in a snow drift by the fence,
But if I may say so, I'm a handsome dude - that said in my own defense!
Politically correct jerks call me a 'snow person' upsetting me so!
Dang it! I'm a SNOWMAN and have been from generations ago!
Its cold out here but I reckon they dare not light a flame, lest,
It would hasten my doom which is so very tenuous at best!
So passersby, enjoy me whilst you can before my certain demise,
As I slowly sink to the ground liquefying right before your eyes!

Blanket of White
Blanket of white, cold as a stare
Cover my staple, bury my share
Probing beneath to feed my habit
One green morsel for a starving rabbit
Blanket of white, no bend nor give
Loosen your grip, that I may live
Blanket of white, frozen treasure
Liquefying to my displeasure
Once all around, no worry nor care
Now fading away like us polar bears
Blanket of white, return and strive
Cover the seas, that I may thrive
Blanket of white, velvety soft
Snuggly and cozy, time to doze off
Pulled to my chin, tucked in by Father
Comfy and toasty on a tired toddler
Blanket of white, smooth as ice cream
Swathe me secure, that I may dream

My Clandestine Escape
Candle, burning before me now,
Separating me from the darkness in this room in which I sit;
The flame atop your waxen column melts your existence, slowly, steadily.
Your now liquefying composition dribbles silently down your side.
Your lifespan is limited by time, flame, wick, and wax.
Smaller, still smaller, as the minutes pass, you grow.
A breeze or draft from a place unknown
Causes your brilliance to flicker,
Thus casting shadows of you and I dancing madly about the room.
Inanimate, such is reality, I know you are,
Yet your personification has become my companion,
Guiding me down this neverending pathway to my escape from that within.
A teardrop trickles down my cheek, as your flame, now shrinking, grows dimmer, as it dies.
Now, only a hardening puddle remains before my ponderous gaze.
Darkness, total darkness, now surrounds my thirsting soul.

(Verse 1)
Eye to eye were hypnotized
Up and down side to side
Our arms are wrapped I’m on fire
Got fight this trial of desire
(Bridge)
Motion rider sexual rapture deeper deeper
Ohh dear lord there’s a ring on your finger
Yes no maybe so how much further can we go
o… baby gotta gain control
(Hook)
This is dangerous.. kissing you
Its taboo to be loving you
This is dangerous.. touching you
Its taboo to be loving you
(Verse 2)
O.. yea that’s right girl get down .
Blowing me a kiss till I’m liquefying
So sweet and satisfying ‘O.. yea baby girl.
My heat is growing we’re out of control
(Bridge)
Deep inside O’.. that feeling
This infatuation is oh so wrong
How far can we go
Gotta stop this fool n before your show ‘n
(Hook)
This is dangerous.. kissing you
Its taboo to be loving you
This is dangerous.. touching you
Its taboo to be loving you
