A classic wind upstaged the evening,
Vocalizing Leaves and Tremulous Aria
Branches. On accompanying fused-sand, framed
and clear, began a run of finely tuned
rivulets -- busy writing, I had not
looked, and saw, dark clouds conjugating --
nor sniffed thickening troops of air~ my
sinuses alerting, their usual swelling. Came a lantern's
flash, came a vivid slash, rumbling
likened to a heavily weighted freight-train, with frantic
mind to lighten its burdensome, brooding load.

Premium MemberIt's Always Been You, Girl

I love to watch you be a women:

How you wake in the morning still
sluggish in your sighs
The perfection of your hair array is a
painted picture in my eyes
Your lips a gentle caress
velvety tingle mine
Your kiss all the whispers of a
passion still confined
Your skin just receptive as all
inhibitions cast to sea
This close to the flame, the
candlelight consummates my queen
I long for the teasing pleasure of a
touch, and spoken words underneath
each breath

Just to watch you be:

A lover and a mother
you captivate me
Can we change places for a moment
I want you to see what I see
I long to be your trust so you can be
a woman
Woman in strength and in
vulnerability
I am in awe of your body, of
God's artistry
The glow of a pregnancy, the
mystery, the unconditional love
Likened to Heaven above
Your angel face, for my eyes to see
I wish to reflect you, and you, me

Premium MemberA Confession

To soften his adolescent growing pains
he was encouraged (can’t recall by whom)
to take up painting – to make a name
for himself, they said. When that failed,
and miserably, he took up drinking
which he likened not to a godsend,
rather to a bodily need and calling.
And so it was, for in little time
he became proficient with the bottle
and was soon dubbed master of alcohol.
His first exhibitions were private,
of course; he was, after all, a novice.
Only years later, with no small courage
or lack of inhibition, did he feel
competent enough to go public.
To his disappointment, however,
and a severe blow to his pride as well,
his public exposure (though widely known)
was not well attended except by
the usual “patrons” – mostly police,
psychiatrists, and condemning clergy.
Happily, however, his name often
made headlines on gossipy tabloids –
the only recognition he consistently
garnered during a long career which has
kept his name burning in the public’s
ears and eyes for decades now, and is
certain to be his legacy long after
he has passed out and away for good.

The Cat Introduces The Snake and The Rat

The snake and the Rat

Saturday night Deep the light minds of the night flow
In the pines of trees
In tales of make believe
The funk is in the trunk
Given up on a pseudo memory
Takes a woman to make something beautiful
You cant do it Trump

Change my life before life changes it for me

Freedom's prison
Pirates wont go to church
Can't quit euphoria Can't quit dope
Blind to that fight Friends will make you see
Its that look
Gods celestial dreams
My motive vation won't let me sleep
When I see
A dropout valley
The tops on tree
Collapsing spirits
Strap on to me
Soaring over
See where it all begins
Those 3 letters
Mott gives to us
The cat on the hook
The hook on a rat The king of rat
Is Ra with a T
Silly face looking at me
The window peine
Sitting as
An a embodied likened of real
Looking through this classless tease
A window of sleeze
The cat never left
You cant touch me
I am the real deal
The meow cow
Programmed to be nice
Soon to take over the world
Meow

Processus de Rencontres

Once we were numb
a symptom of uncaring
to be notice
we become overbaring
what flavors this
it's so addictive
me in need
makes me so
submissive
once I was numb
Once I was Numb

Unloved
feeling rejected
all alone
feeling neglected
she only spoke me
with love in her words
the things she said
I loved every word
She clung to me
we started kissing
it was clear to see
love was all that was missing
she pitied me
I became her concern
she likened me
to ah lesson learned

No one else can complete you
but she makes it easy to forget
Darling I was glad to meet you
in love there's no regrets
I love her so
Aint shame to mention
she get's me straight
and keeps my attention
What ah love

It takes two to tangle
but it takes one to forgive
a lovers night
I wouldn't miss it
to spend the night
with dancing and kisses
oh then for
us together
I changed my plans
it was like whatever

"Don't pity my love for you
oh that love is endearing
pity my desire for you
and yours for me
is as sincere and
make time to be with me
and keep me in mind
Sweet as you are
 So sweet and kind"

Premium MemberIn Nature's Glory

As I awake from night's deep sleep
morning light begins its grand sweep.
Across the skyline, it unfurls
as dewdrops hang like strands of pearls.

Resembling tears, not those of grief,
they quench the thirst of each dry leaf.
On prismed drops they drink their fill
as sunlight climbs above the hill.

My flowers sup from Nature's tap.
Their petals cupped so they could lap
the nurturing moisture of life
when lack of rainfall brings them strife.

Sun has risen and morning broke.
In the sky is a golden yolk.
Its warmth has spread over the Earth.
Each day is likened to rebirth.

Twilight will find sunlight fading.
Its hours are quickly abrading,
but darkness will never hold sway~
Luna will not be kept at bay.

With us, moonlight shares her soft glow,
ruling the tides that ebb and flow.
One more day that tells the story
of nature in all its glory.

My omnipresent spirit observes man's zonal realms
In star-studded cast of aureoles...a diverse culture in motion,
Which alights into Borealis songs, their haunting lore, their generational rites

And through sacred Mystery , I connect with their melting pot of eras
Designed by one Galactic handiwork-- moons, stars
planets circling around Milky Way, ever vibrant...

And my light pulses with them, my light pulses.

Then to bestow a natural pace of night and day,
Season upon season, I see myself as one
With creation reaching ---out for God's grace. And through centuries before
Genesis,
I continue whispering to human souls their temporal existence on earth,
earth , only a bridge into eternal energy
Where peace erases all rancor
and greed sown by primitive and urban
desires which poison the grid of unity...

And I shall will my invisible wings to
tap divine power
among men likened to holy ascension
into one paradise where
peace breathes
of nothing but hallowed order.

The spirit or the flesh?

They are really one-in-the-same,
internals and externals of creation --

the face read-out of our
inner clockworks --

                         to review
man, his myriad of entangled
relationships, is to begin to understand
The Politics of Satan vs God

We can fool the Soulless press, often
co conspirators in illusion -- Truth
more likened to the quizzical eyes
of children~ amazed, confounded,

and then, lost....

Jelly Roll

Jelly roll

Watch em fall
Sadness of a lost season
No time to reach out and touch a life or a song

Jelly roll
Theres so much a child in you
Things we talk about appear nothing extreme
But although my mind always wants it all
A hang glide in the sky won't happen today
Ill tell you what I hate
You can show me what you...like
There's no other way it can go.. jelly roll

Each day every step
Each day every step
Every step is another Feeling away from paradise
Away from the strongest human desire
Its not chocolate
Not caffeine or cigarettes nor booze

The talent that you sling
Its the kindness of your lips
The unknown treated like king
The wrestle of your hips
The Van morrison thing
melody loops in my mind..... in my brain
She got ...something
about Blue Money and Tupelo Honey

The likened matters
of the magic in music
Songs for sunshine songs for rain People were kids
Chains replaced Innocence reines
Make them young

The cowards and bastards
Make their desperate shadows
Disappear

A room in heaven
A white silver bed
A cherry gold carpet
Windows of perceptive
Air as thick as steel
My love a crush
On my Jelly roll

Singular
Although many
All have the common thread
What the years have given them
Have been taken

Only relatives have interest
Or data keepers at best
The likened groups
That they belonged
Are waiting

Girlfriend and wife

If wife is likened to a storm,
What of girlfriend by the same norm?
A sweet little warm breeze
Lent on a short-lived lease,
No more than an overnight dorm.
Or sunshine, if you may,
On a grey cloudy day--
You wait and wait, feel nary warm.

Premium MemberThe Velum of Clouds

For all the planning
and learned preparation
poetry remains part
mystery

a write only dimly solvable

a poet wisely advised to
proudly accept
all credits, while adhering failures
to sacrificial muses,

the lambs should
be accustomed by now
to writers’ confiscations
and slanders

our best definition:
poetry~ likened to love --

fond works

pinned to the heart

stapled to the velum

of high flying clouds~

hopefully

ascending

for safe keeping

and reunion

Closing moments of the elcair

A bygone thought
It comes back to
Inspire
It arouses my need
to create and to be
creative
Squatting to do the
Chores of shorter
People
Stretching to do the
work of taller folk
thinking to labor
with scholars
Under thought just to
Understand
resistance training
to bulk up
Feeding the muscle
For endurance
a thought contested
My logic
In the creation of flavor
Might I fine satisfied
