Sorry, Liberal
(1) Ako ay tutula nang maikling-maikli
Para sa 78th Birthday ng Liberal Party
(2) Isang tula ng pag-sorry
Para sa lahat ng nasa Liberal party
(3) Sana tayo ay magbati na
Dahil ang isa't isa'y ating kinontra
(4) Kinontra ko kayo
Kinontra niyo ako
(5) At dahil ako ang pasimuno
Ako rin ang tatapos dito
(6) Sa ating kaytagal nang hidwaan
Na parang wala na yatang katapusan
(7) Kaya bilang tugon sa panawagang pagkakaisa
Ng UniTeam o BBM-Sara na dakila
(8) Hayaan niyo po ako na makipagkasundo
Proverbs 16:8 ay iiwan ko sa inyo.

Salamat, Liberal
(1) Ako ay tutula nang maikling-maikli
Para sa 78th Birthday ng Liberal Party
(2) Isang tula ng pasasalamat
Para sa inyong lahat
(3) Salamat dahil noong si PNoy ang Pangulo
Ako ay ginawa niyong isang guro
(4) Sa Capiz State University
Kung saan 2010-2016 ako nanatili
(5) Salamat dahil may papel akong ginampanan
Dito sa Dumarao na aming bayan
(6) Kahit kayong mga Liberal ay aking kinontra
Ako'y binuhay at tinulungan pa
(7) Kaya bilang munting ganti sa inyong kabutihan
Proverbs 16:17 sa inyo ay aking iiwan.

Nagtapos ng abogasya sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas
Mula pagiging guro sa Capiz kumatawan
Hinirang na heneral nang sa Hapon makaalpas
Pinagtuunang pansin pagbangon ng bayan.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
vacant control tower hisses in static~
a Morse code signaling the absence of departing flights.
B-24s dissolve into prairie stars,
fuel streaks fading like old film burns.
Midnight mechanics still roll toolbox shadows
across tarmacs swallowed by Kansas crabgrass.
a windsock flaps—empty, always empty~
counting dead radio waves as prayer beads.
barracks hum with old Glenn Miller,
though the record needle’s been stuck for decades.
midnight taxi lights still trace the runway,
guiding no one home.
airfield ghosts wear leather bomber jackets,
not shrouds, sighing at how quietly war forgets.
This is the modern age
And Life is so passé
That death is what is left, clearly Left,
And so needing to be celebrated
In every child killed, foe assassinated
And human made infertile
In the depths of their confusion and delusion.
What is there that death can hope to conquer?
Not happiness, because even the deadly
Are often happy - celebrating death,
But joy, which is a fulfillment
In something that transcends death,
And the simplest word for that is
Life.
The betrayal of the white liberals
Is one so peculiar
For a party that claims allyship
Why are black people not invited
Or?
Do you already have your token
To show you are open
To the lie of progression
The covert nature of your motive
Is a secret that is no longer hidden
No tear shed for yet another innocent black victim
But outspoken to defend a republican
Then again
Birds of the same feather must stick together
The pitiful pretence of support you perform
Is evil only a 'wolf in sheep's clothing' could have
They move as if they are sleeper cell spies
Rising only for a white man's death
To them race comes before politics
White liberals 'care' until it comes to defending whiteness
They are just cowards dressed up in a cloak of 'niceness'
What? -
All to prove your differences
Or
Just as a way to boost your views
Acting like the odd one out with your 'individualistic' truths
Spare me your drawn on wounds
Especially when you have never had to walk a day in our shoes
Someone is conservative
Someone is liberal
But
Someone is
Transcendentalist and
Universalist
Is he a conservative, too?
I am a liberal snowflake.
I’m threatened by words that you make.
If you don’t agree,
Don’t dare let me see
Because I am WOKE not awake.
I believe that everyone should have the right to be whoever they are
And allow others to exercise that same right
I believe that everyone should have the right to think what they think
And allow others to exercise that same right
I believe that everyone should be able to speak their mind
And allow others to speak theirs
I believe that I have the right to disagree with your thoughts and beliefs
And that you have the right to disagree with my thoughts and beliefs
I know that my thoughts and beliefs have been influenced by your thoughts and beliefs
Because I listened to your voices not your shouting.
And I would hope the same is true of your thoughts and beliefs.
I believe that we are all Americans, or came here and became Americans
Because in America we can find a way to become whoever we are,
Believe and think as we will, and speak of these beliefs openly.
I believe that we all have a responsibility to protect and defend
The principles of this nation and to preserve the promise of its Constitution.
If you have read this far you may be becoming A CONSERVATIVE LIBERAL….
To hold a liberal viewpoint is a good thing
For we liberals believe in our inalienable rights,
Rights to “the pursuit of happiness” we bring.
Freedom with responsibility, a good feeling,
Opportunity with civility is worthy of its fights
To hold a liberal viewpoint is a good thing.
For America, her flag, her anthem we sing
Proudly supporting her fundamental might,
Rights to “the pursuit of happiness” we bring.
We will not buckle to an insurrectionist wing,
In our belief in liberty for all, we delight,
To hold a liberal viewpoint is a good thing.
When our government is threatened, we sting
And for our freedom of speech, we will fight
Rights to “the pursuit of happiness” we bring.
Our commitments are more than a passing fling
We keep our proven institutional values in sight,
To hold a liberal viewpoint is a good thing
Rights to “the pursuit of happiness” we bring.
I am an old-line Liberal and proud of it, too
Though we are told liberalism is a dirty word,
Most Americans stand with me in the queue.
We liberals are willing to stand and be heard,
Always seeking what’s best for the majority
Though we are told liberalism is a dirty word.
Believing equal rights a Constitutional priority
All people should have the same opportunity,
Always seeking what’s best for the majority.
We stand for every citizen’s right to security
Equal pay for equal work; good medical care,
All people should have the same opportunity.
Our agenda demands clean water and pure air
Taking care of natural resources by regulation
Equal pay for equal work; good medical care!
Every child deserves a home, food, education
I am an old-line Liberal and proud of it, too
Taking care of natural resources by regulation
Most Americans stand with me in the queue.
She gives me her ideas, none of them mine.
I nod my head, but my soul is dancing in time.
The hippie wagon is coming for me today.
With a smile and a wave I yell hip hip hooray!
She is a member of a political party I abhor.
But this does not keep her away from my door.
She hates liberals, she tells me, and I keep quiet.
She sees the hippie wagon; I think it’s a riot!
But why would you go with those people? She asks, a bit dippy.
She has no idea but others know I am totally a hundred percent hippie.
I give her the peace sign as they carry me away.
Seeing her astonished face has kind of made my day!
Live and let live without prejudice
I believing in basic freedoms for all,
Being fair and just, principled
Equality being a God-given right,
Regardless of race, creed, or nationality
Always following the Golden Rule,
Loving always overcomes hating.
the false liberal
a profiteer
takes advantage of good and vice
wants to profit from our sacrifice...
Does not llove life sucks it up,
does not love humanity
explores it...
Is a pariah,
a parasite
between usury and theft
he exits,
to usurps and boasts
with the fruit of sin...!
