The roll of paper white now thin,
Grows threadbare, tattered and quite lean,
A silent signal, soft and low,
The final sheets starting to show.
Each tear a whisper, a slight grace,
As emptiness soon fills its place,
No more a buffer, soft and kind,
To replenish one can just find.
Like paper thinning, life recedes,
Fulfilling all its earthly deeds,
The gentle turning, day by day,
Leads to a quiet, waning ray.
With the bones slim, a fragile shroud,
Above the whispers of the crowd,
Each subtle shift stamps a sign,
Along the path of one`s lifeline
The roll will soon be spent and gone,
Beneath the supple shining sun,
A quiet sigh, a letting go,
As softer currents start to flow.
the starving novelist writes,
ink thinning like his sleepless nights~
a hunger that still ignites.
When the aching intensity of indecision
Nails your feet grasping to the buckling floor
And your outstretched arms are too weak to fight,
Summon courage from the flailing, swirling air.
Gather yourself and lean into Light.
When fear has curdled what’s left of your brain
And no passage of time will ease the pain
And you’re sitting in darkness with no means to fight,
Summon inner wisdom from your beating heart.

When the circle is shrinking; no friends left in sight
And you sit alone on the sharp edge not knowing what’s right
And you rail at the darkness, both fists in the air
Summon your anger at what brought you there.
Gather your courage, return to the fight.
Reach for Power and lean into the Light.
It’s all an illusion, a mere trick of self-deception.
Stop telling yourself you are powerless and small.
In every atom of your body, every song of your Soul
Power rises and falls as you summon and call.
You have all you need. You are streamlined for flight.

I don't know anything about anything at this point. You're messing with my brain, pushing me away just to see if I'll come running back and I do, every single time like a dang fool. You're older but that doesn't mean you have the right to leave all this on me. That if the relationship you built on lies and my advice crumbles to the ground, that I'll be there, waiting to take the fall for you and
clean up the mess you made because my friends were right, you're no princess and I'm no Cinderella.
lanky lean lithe limber lollygagging Leo loved a little lampoonery
loving lasting laughter, leisurely learning lemonade lessons
lickety split, laundering little leagues of lithographs in lime
cat owned by Philistine
they both liked the same cuisine

A rough stone when gives and gets of girth lean,
Grounded by a grindstone begets good sheen.
A warrior wrestles till gravely wounded,
Victorious, shines forth O bleeding red.
Take elephant in rut, gone lean and mean,
It stands out on giving and gone serene.
Glitters a river gone lean in autumn
From fully flooded in monsoon season.
No phase of moon seems so incandescent
As one that hath gone leanest as crescent.
A young lass gone lean and pale post coitus,
A mother post birth, what a rare status!
Who so that hath given to one in want,
Gleams having given till gone lean and gaunt.

jagged edge blade, made me bleed and stabbed me deep, so far in, i have quite literally changed mentally and physically, i have become a lean ground beef pack, to be used after freezing and to be used once, please dont use me whole, i-i- l'll burn!

Are the ones thought to be mean;
Don’t ask them “Where have you been?”
For being The Odd Human Being,
Who prefer to be not seen.

Would enact hair-raising scene,
As students challenge their Dean:
Rice prove inferior to Bean
For long weeks wear just a jean.
Mostly people who are lean
On Evaluation dead keen:
Laugh as one tries to self preen,
See beyond what people feign,
Keep a memory evergreen.
Mostly people who are lean
Their trait transfer via The Gene:
Watch babies their mothers wean
Age but still looking quite Green…
End up marrying Beauty Queen

Lean and furry
Stalking sprinting panting
The fastest cat in the forest
Cheetah
When you get old, you’d best get smart
And wise up really fast;
What you could do when you were young
Has slipped into the past.
No longer can you rush about
And, careless, seize the day.
Now, when you do too much, too quick,
Come morning, you will pay.
The thoughts of fading glory years
Can often bring despair;
The memories of brawn and strength
Can on the psyche wear.
But patience, not a gift that youth
Can readily receive,
Comes only with the pass of time;
First, arrogance must leave.
It’s hard to learn to ask for help,
Accept that you might fail.
Sometimes, it’s not the body, but
The ego that is frail.
So plan; don’t be impetuous.
Don’t act on every whim,
And things will go much better when
You learn to lean on Him.
You can lean on me any time of day
I'm there for you, I won't run away.
I'm here to help so you don't fall
And improve your stature so you walk tall.
When on a hike, down a country lane
I'll support you there in sun or rain.
We can climb mountains with great pride
As long as we take it all in our stride.
When old and struggling to get out of your chair
Just reach for me, as I shall be there;
You can expect your helping aide
So you won't feel sad and so dismayed.
An old broken branch I was when found
And you raised me up off the dirty ground.
You fashioned me into a walking stick,
From that day on we truly did click.
So, I'm so grateful that you came my way
I will always support you, come what may.
In gratitude I will serve you happily,
All I ask is that you lean on me.
