In bed Don loves wearing his gold
Where billionaire's come to the fold
They need not hold loins
But just buy Trump coins
While we work till we're dead and old
Trump’s deals concern what he can break
It’s how this Don hauls in his take
The rich on him spend
As they must depend
On what they’ve kissed his ass to make
His son’s payoff struck them as bad
Republicans hate Hunter’s dad
But they won’t ascribe
Meme coins as a bribe
And part of Trump’s theft launching pad

Writing anything political can throw fuel on a fire,
but these Limericks are not meant to ignite anyone.
Just a bit of humor in my opinion. Yes, we all have one.
A Musk rat and a vengeful dog
Both wantin' to be called Boss Hogg
In a rocket they'll launch
The critter with a paunch
Always croaking like a bullfrog
Trump wrote a poem about the day
A verse about those who will pay
For insubordination
He'll demand castration
Through vengeance, he will get his way
Took them all to the launching pad
The rat, the dog, Fat Kim and Vlad
Cast them into deep space
Earth will be a safer place
When it's saved from those who are madddd
Kim Jong Un asked to be on board
It was a seat he could afford
"Take Putin for the ride"
Trump wants him at his side
Into space and beyond they soared
The real 'rocket man,' evil Kim
Thinks the world should belong to him
Trump and Vlad lost in space
Lil Pudge will take their place
And King will be his pseudonym

Traveling down the memory lane paved a long time ago,
I remember when I was completing graduation,
what profession I’d pursue afterward I didn’t know,
one professor gave my career a direction to follow.
A short statured profoundly erudite humble person,
introduced me to the fascinating facets of geology,
and to the intricacies of the earth in a simple way,
expounding its interesting evolution history.
The complex lattice of crystals he made clear to me,
using designed diagrams and meticulous models,
showed me in the field what in the rocks to see,
opened window in microscope on the world of minerals.
His unique way of teaching influenced my young mind,
ingrained in me a deep interest in the marvels of nature,
leading me to continue my studies in earth science,
creating the launching pad for my satisfactory career.
I won’t forget him for I realize with sense of gratitude
how the course of fulfilling life a teacher carves out,
not only by sensible sustenance of the imbibed acumen,
but by molding the mind to be satisfied with the shaped life.

The human mind stores and sorts information,
creative ideas, feelings, and desires.
It's a launching pad for fear and frustration;
sentient beings, we're aware that life expires.
Feeling emotions from grief to elation;
hearts glean the moral fibber our soul requires.
And the internal banter twit's heart and self;
inspires dreams, defining how one views oneself.

A Hinder Peek At Life
Miracle Man
6/15/2024
I couldn’t finish something,
that I didn’t first start.
Also, my tongue only uttered,
things found in my heart.
Any troubling thoughts,
I always quickly cast aside.
For God knows my heart,
and things from others I might hide.
My tongue is a launching pad,
that utters words that hurt.
So I think before speaking,
and those harsh words avert.
I’ve worked both hard, and smart,
my attitude, to be zappy.
Life awarded me no shortcuts,
in my quest to be happy.

Trapped in my space suit
Tied down to the launching pad
Terrorized by the rocket
Paralyzed to the surface
The cold surface of my skin
Basks in the judgmental sun
Strapped in my race boot
A dyed gown around my chest
A hard place and a rock, it
Seems I stand in perturbance
Fervidness of my kin
Tasks my legs to jump the gun
My chest strains as my legs race
My heart aches at my minds race
"When I win I'll pen the pin"
But I'd only lose to win a when
Internal torment. Eternal Dormant.
In turn I'll forfeit to eternal internal scornment

He was born in Dallas, Texas as Marvin Lee Aday.
Most of us know him as "Meat Loaf" today.
He became a great actor and recording artist.
His hit records comprise a very long list.
A great career got of the launching pad with "Bat Out of Hell".
His role as Eddie in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" was swell.
Meat Loaf as a singer and actor has been quite prolific.
Up to today, multitudes of fans consider him terrific.
I thank wikipedia.org for valuable information I obtained to write this poem.

Eloquent Words
By: Miracle Man
7/3/2020
Our verbiage sometimes may appear as token,
when attempting to walk back harshly spoken speech.
But heartfelt words, though they’ve been spoken,
doesn’t guarantee the forgiveness that we beseech.
For the tongue plays the part of a launching pad,
transmitting thoughts of the heart once pent.
Spoken words can’t be retracted, neither good nor bad,
we give too little thought before they’re spent.
Feel empathy for the one to whom unkind words are directed,
and pity for the heart where they originated.

"Reality is something you rise above." - Liza Minelli
today is nothing less than your blank canvas
so splash those colors never meant to harness
reality is just a bland and neutral tone
you’re meant to dare and soar alone
so spread your wings and don’t be sad
this stage is but your launching pad
propel your dreams and set them free
be wild extravagant go on a big fat spree
take off your blinders knowing the sky’s the limit
don’t slow down until you reach that summit
spark your reality with a dash or two of spice
in life you can’t hesitate to roll the dice
jack up the music sing loud your song
dance under the moon and stars
the whole night long

Down the memory lane a long time ago

one professor then gave my career a direction.
A short stature humble man, Santosh Ray
introduced me in a course on geology
to the intricacies of the earth in a simple way,

His unique way of teaching I must mention
ingrained in me a deep interest in geology forever

the launching pad for my satisfactory career.
I won’t forget him for I realize with no doubt
how the course of life a teacher can carve out.

A Narrative...
The View
At the end of Mulberry street
stood a massive old and weathered oak.
With an owl rested there every night , just waiting
for the right meal to wander by,
then silent wings swooped effortlessly down
the massacre hardly made a sound at all.
I watched from my bedroom window each night to
see this act of natural savagery and the feast
Even saw a black kitten become the monster's meal
Yet never did I think of it as barbaric savagery
because man eats whatever he wants with arrogant glee
As master over all creatures and with contempt
for the weak and lame,
Throat cut and bloodied the cow so peaceful
becomes next day's burgers and we bat not an eye.
Unholy indifference reasoned to be a normal act
by we lords of the earth, we takers of all weaker
things.
Great to find the old Mulberry still a launching pad
after these past decades.
And man changes not except his clothes and his
ideas on his superiority over known and unknown Universe.

Guard Your Tongue,
For
Words Never Retreat
Written: by Tom Wright
10-22-2016
Our words become heat seeking missiles,
When impairing others is their intent.
Once launched they can’t be retracted,
By the tongue from which they’re sent;
It’s in our hearts these words are birthed,
Our tongue, their exclusive launching pad;
Once launched we often suffer remorse,
And our thoughts turn toward the triad.
So remember, that a done can’t be undone,
And from dormancy words emerge into play;
Words that devastate the heart of another,
God says we’ll answer for on judgment day.

Limerick crochetés: Once North Koreans joined South cousins
Once North Koreans joined South cousins
Agreed to let drop divisive sins
Formed one team ice-hockey
Won bronze not so lucky
Each side said: “Not for US, no side wins!”
Both sides appealed to prize committee
Some judges with none could agree:
“South on its own could win
Gold!” said Pence swilling gin
Kim Jong-un said: “No, Siree!”
“Next time round we’ll stage World Jamboree
South will pay for nukes in joint country!
Not cash but solid gold
Stand on launching pad bold
Remember who stood by US in ’53!”
