Guard Your Tongue

Guard Your Tongue, For Words Never Retreat Written: by Tom Wright 10-22-2016 Our words become heat seeking missiles, When impairing others is their intent. Once launched they can’t be retracted, By the tongue from which they’re sent; It’s in our hearts these words are birthed, Our tongue, their exclusive launching pad; Once launched we often suffer remorse, And our thoughts turn toward the triad. So remember, that a done can’t be undone, And from dormancy words emerge into play; Words that devastate the heart of another, God says we’ll answer for on judgment day.
