Krieg Poems | Examples

Blitzkrieg - German Word

Blitzkrieg= blitz (lightning) + krieg (war)

The word blitzkrieg means "rapid attack" in German language.
In Marketing world, same strategy is used to manage
a focused campaign for a product,
to help promoting unknown product
to specific customers through media to gain vantage.

Premium Member Staying In Touch

Staying in Touch!

Do you stay in touch with the people you love?
If you do, then you might be an odd one for sure!
Most who call, are just strangers that one has not heard of,
Poor salesmen with smiles but with little allure!

But 'staying in touch,' though its cost seems not dear,
Is an art form whose colors seem faded more black!
By the phone so abused at some point, it becomes clear
Once safe in our toilets, now flushed by attack!

Nostalgic are letters from somewhere away,
With their colorful stamps that could hint of intrigue,
To a farm in Dakotas, a dawn with no foreplay,
Hen's eggs dropped on woven straw win no man's Krieg!

Our friendships get masked by the noise of new ease
In just touching our skin. There's scant time saved for thought!
Do you parse or taste words that may only your heart please?
Should friendship be thought of as 'given' or 'sought?'

We're poets, my friend, though I may not be yours,
For the colors of love won't all stay inside lines,
And it's not who you love but your loving that contours
The dreamer to landscapes that no man refines.

A Known Politician

A known politician
Like the bed bug, they bite
Anything that comes their sight
Without being given the right
They are well known for earning more than a stipend
But they always fend
More than what they would spend
Like the weevil, they bore hole
Into the nations credit zone
So that they could be financially mellow
Like the peripatetic soldier ant
They walk down our girls pant
Without having for them a penchant
Like the African wasp, they sting
The decent girls that shun their ping
Because they know they have for them no ring
Like the green mantis
They send insurgents
To kill and crush our people in a blitz-Krieg
And pretend in their political vicarage
As if they are unaware of the carnage
Like the golden eagle, they have carte blanche
To fly around the world and eat a la carte
Without remembering that one day the court will visit their case
Like kite, they go to greater height
Without remembering there would be a night
That every movement will come to halt
And that day they will be starved for nights
And they will be left to fight to right
To bite the carrion in sight

And beg for their death to set

Tiefgruendiger Frieden

Nacht der Nächte,
Erneue jedes Jahr
Bleib in allen Jahreszeiten
Und in allen Herzen ewig nah!

 Leuchtender Stern.
Verschwende Deine Herrlichkeit
und strahle Frieden auf die Erde.
Beende Krieg, Hass, Neid und Streit.

 Zartes Kindlein
In einer Krippe auf Heu
Leite alle Kinder der Welt;
Segne jeden Tag neu.

 Meinen Freunden so weit entfernt
Und allen, die meiner Seele nah,
Wünsche ich herzinniglich
Viel Liebe und Glück
und
Ein gesegnetes Neu Jahr!

Nach Dem Krieg

Wiesbaden 1946

 Langsam und traurig
schreitet der Alltag,
ueber die Truemmer
zerstoerter Traueme.
Er sucht die Stuecke
zerbrochener Erwartungen,
zusammen, um sie zu ergaenzen
und zu erreichen ein Ziel.
Doch der Alltag ist kurz
und der Stuecke sind viele
zu viel.

After the War- Germany 1946

From dawn to sunset
walked the day.
over the scattered ruins of
broken promises.
Searching, to find
piece by piece.
The day is short
and the pieces are many.
Be aware-don’t let
tomorrow pass by.
