Premium Member What if we do Not Like Him

Lee is a humorous jokester, quipster too
A cut up, a prankster, said Kidder Sue
He can bring joy to more than a few
He’ll be here at one, or maybe two

What if we do not like him? Asked Lou
He is as dour as a snowball in the dew
You cannot help yourself said Kidder Sue
She is as optimistic as negative is uncle Lou

WHAT KATIE DID

WHAT KATIE DID

Katie had jogged my elbow at the poker table
I tried to snatch back my chips but was unable
And I guess I was causing some sort of hiatus
A bet’s a bet, quite irrespective of one’s status
My pleadings were drowned out in that babel
Could I lose all that money sent over by cable

Other players showed no evidence of amity
Their gain will be my loss, and a real calamity
A bet once placed, is like making a contract
By now, any smile on my face had cracked
To regular rich punters a loss doesn’t matter
But for me, it’s my world that could shatter

I held my breath at the the fate I was dealt
All could clearly witness the pain that I felt
The highest bid that I had apparently made
My hand that must now have to be played
Perhaps the others thought I was a kidder
But it’s what a high bidder has to consider

Premium Member The Tree at Kidder Creek

The tree that stands at Kidder Creek
Reminds us of our friend
Who was called away from us,
Her life on earth to end.
This tree so brightens all our sight
When thereupon we gaze,
It lets us know that we still live
Until our last of days.
A blossom here, a blossom there,
but quickly flowers fall;
Our friend here we remember
Was a flower that touched us all.
We gather here ‘neath Laura’s tree,
The friend who left us so
Was a beacon for all to see,
A tree that will always grow.

Premium Member Such a Clumsy Critter

While watching my babysitter
Playing with glitter,
I fell into the kitty litter! --
I am such a clumsy critter.

My brother will twitter
Our babysitter is covered in glitter
She is such a kidder,
But, I fell into the kitty litter!
I am such a clumsy critter.

My kitty has five kitties in her litter
They were watching my babysitter
Playing with glitter,
When I fell into the kitty litter!
I am such a clumsy critter.

My mommy is a good knitter,
My brother really likes to twitter,
My kitten has five kitties in her litter,
Everyone was watching my babysitter
Playing with glitter,
When I fell into the kitty litter!
I am such a clumsy critter.

Premium Member Bugs In My Meatloaf

My dear Aunt Mildred was quite a kidder
Put bugs in my meat loaf, could've hit her
Got her back though
Put mustard in her hose
Walked around attracting little critters
fun

Just a Human Being

9/21/17

Just a human being
Heart, erratically beating
Scarred up from bleeding

Wheezing
Lungs and difficulty breathing
The same can be said for sleeping or dreaming

Someday from this place, I'll be leaving
Eyes, having trouble seeing
During the day and evening

Cheers!
Ears yet a severe
Problem with the ability to hear

Brain yet not truly thinking
Continually drinking
Like it's no big thing

Not a matter of mere days
Bones that break and age
Despite the winds of change

During any phase and stage
Regardless of if it happened to amaze
Or was considered strange

I'm not a kidder
Muscle that'll eventually wither
For any person and critter

Across the Earth
Organs that start to hurt
Then no longer work

Might seem all good and fine
It's just a matter of time
So while you can, enjoy the ride

Premium Member The Constipated Texan

there was a kidder who sat on a *hitter
he pushed long and hard for he was no quitter
but nothing came out
he left with a pout
that gritty old kidder was named Tex Ritter
