Javanese Poems | Examples

Cameltoes of Archipelagos

As prose and verses are fabled,
the rain cats and dogs.

Love is endorphinated,
hug Dutch wife tightly.

A cup of Java,
occupied.
Nice?

Vanish Dance

I m your soul

Inside a vanish imagination

Drops of Tears

Shatter inner soul

Passion in our soul

Flames of incense

White clouds

Ancestral statue

White rose

Exotic Javanese dance

Desire on fire

A Carnal Holy passion …

The Way

Soundless
Timeless beauty
Above yet under
Neither left nor right
Finite in the infinite
Mindless nameless
Seconds yet centuries
You live yet die
Tunes of universe

Absorbed taken
Snatch from this suffering
Nothing yet everything
Emptiness within fullness
Javanese mystics
Wooden chairs

Move less
Smile above harmony
Tore my humanity
Waiting....
For the next chance
Tunes of the way

Note: AH ! its Bein A While A small group of Javanese Mystic longing to be there again...... Thats "life"

Rebellious Truth

I sung to the music
Smile upon
A whirling dervish
A Javanese mystic
A man of nature
And a Buddhist monk

Ask
What is important?
Your creed or your deed
Being theist or atheist

Cast out by society
Just being you
For we are the seed of Adam

People like us
Banned by society
In the name of
Righteousness

Listen to nightingales
Be free
For God has
No religion …..

Java Blood

I may speak like I’ve lost my identity
I may look like I’ve ignored my ideology
But in this body, a Javanese blood is moving swiftly
There is a deep bond, hard to be disregarded

The tradition that I never can understand
In their devotion of simplicity and modesty
Even in this era of madness
There are legacies that carry on
The thing that I should have done it too

Even if I was born in the age of technology
And some music is not an unchained melody anymore
I thought maybe music can relief me from the pain in my life
I don’t know why, the first time I heard the gamelan, it soothed me

Don’t know exactly their native language but I feel like I’m home
The music that has been long forgotten, the richest medication for the soul
Through their melody, philosophy is taught rhythm by rhythm
It’s the magical power from the past that keep us out from insanity

No matter where I will live
No matter what I become
Even in another part of the world
This is my root, this is who I am
The java blood in me, this is my identity

Samurishogun

samurishogun
Samurishogun
Everyone likes java and Javanese movies
Six feet tall even no inches not one the
Sword was not deflected until the flat was on my shoulder and the flat of the
blade was laying heavy on the muscle underneath my obi wan Kenobi shirt
when the shogun taught me not to sneeze on his command do not sneeze he
told me or the head will grin the head will soon leave the body if you sneeze so
please just do not sneeze or eye will have to take the sword in my left hand and
then the head will grin
The head will grin when the sword has won.
