M Loves Truth

I don’t understand
I don’t listen
I don’t have empathy
I done care
I only do what I want
These words are my loves truth
These words have become my world
This world is now my truth
When did the light stop coming to our hearts

Will You Ever Know

Will you ever know I write for you....
When I couldn't laugh or cry and I was blue..
You taught me steps to a song I couldn't hear..
We drew pictures from places with no fear.
So many pages that were torn and sent away...
Will you ever know these words I say...
Like so many stars I couldn't trace...
Endless thoughts in clear black lace....
Waves of trust that sink in the sand..
Dreams of sorrow in my empty hand..
On a tablet of stone my words grew...
Will you ever know I write for you...

Awakenings

His love is all around me,
Even though I cannot see
Something that is so very real,
All these things that I feel
Sleeping for so many years,
Suppressed by all my darkest fears
Finally I have been woken,
To all the glorious words that He has spoken
I have been touched by His holy hand,
And now I can understand

So strong in everything that I believe,
I am always ready to receive
He guides me from the heavens up above,
And He has filled me with His love
He has given to me a precious gift,
As I use these words to uplift
Hopefully they will touch your very core,
Realizing He can give you so much more

He offers to you an eternal life,
With no pain, no sorrow, no strife
But you must become a righteous man,
To be seated by His hand
You must rid yourself of hate,
In order to receive this glorious fate
If you let Him into your soul,
Then you can achieve this mighty goal

The end

A Sip of Inspiration

Behind my smokey, dopey eyes
That's where inspiration lies
From cloudy mist of verbal rain
I find the words to write refrain

I take a drink and start to think
Sometimes I stand upon the brink
Then I take my pen in hand
And conjour up a madmans plan

My pen moves swift across the page
The wisened words reflect my age
I stop at times to rub my chin
I roll my eyes and then I grin

Again my words begin to flow
I write of things that I don't know
But everytime that two lines rhyme
I know I've found my place in line

Talented Curses

To know what you shouldn’t.
To know what’ll happen if you don’t do something.
To know you have the power in your hands.
To know you can alter reality with one word.
To know what’s going through another’s thoughts.
To know what they’re about to say,
Each and every day…
To feel the pain that shudders through one’s body.
To feel the fear from a mile away.
To feel the last breath that’s taken in.
To feel death when it’s very near.
To feel the never-ending heartache.
To feel when someone needs,
And dealing with the fact that no one cares…
To hear the cries of a dying child.
To hear the agony of a woman being raped.
To hear the spiteful words of a teenager.
To hear a riot unfold for the sake of death.
To hear someone you love say they hate you.
To hear the hurtful words that drives a man to suicide,
Screaming what it takes to not run and hide…
To change things when you had the chance.
To change a world of hate.
To change past regrets to have other consequences.
To change your heart to benefit someone else.
To change your beliefs to make you a better person.
To change when no one else wants to…
For these are what talented curses seem to do.

I Need To Release My Inner Feelings To Be Truly Free

You try to keep me locked up from day to day

You wont let me write what I want to say

You say your worried avout my mind set

My words come from my heart and I have no regret

Cant you be happy with what I write and what I have said

I think its just jealousy rearing its ugly head

If you try to steal my words to gain a reward

You will find my pen is mightier than any sword

I can see you trying to get the glory as you put me down

How would it feel to have a fake poetry crown

When you hold me back does this fill you with glee

I need to release my inner feelings to be truly free

Forever More

Forever More

As I remember my past reading the pages before me
Emotions from a time long ago forgotten
Flood back through my veins, through my heart.

Was I always this afraid of the unknown
Of what I was capable of even then
I made my bed, and lay in it now.

To live, to survive, channel my energy
Once upon a time I was someone else
Now I have changed again, adapted.

Change can be good, if you embrace it’s power
To make a difference, if not with actions
Listen to my words dance off the pages.

When my emotions course, so do my thoughts
My thoughts bounce around till it’s time
To etch my words forever more.

At 15

at only 15 years old, my words are honest
my heart is loyal with trustworthy
my eyes radiantly lighten with the wises words to say
i think so clearly when my vision is different
my body is weak when my mind is strong
my love for others and the world it as willing as my thirst for poetry
not caring what the world has to say to me, the only words that matter are those of the
Lord himself in my prayers
the drama, the rumors mean nothing as long as the truth is known
at only 15 years old, my words are know released from the big heart i have

Who Am I

Bits and pieces of my soul
Spread across the boards
My heart spills it life blood
On to the etheral pages of life

I find I need to collect them together
All in one place for me to understand
The meanings and feelings of my life
Thousands of words have tripped my tongue

I feel the need to chronicle my path
So others may better understand
The ways I have tread
Writing is a solitary art

When we are but ash and dust
Our written words still remain
To celebrate life and love
And give others hope.

Ribbons and Ash

Ribbons falling all around,
they float, they fly up off the ground.

Clueless ones, they breathe it in
never knowing of their sin.

Burnt and torn, harsh words tonight
makes it hard to see the light.

Moving forward upon the wind
pushing, fighting for an end.

Shreds are left and drifting now
lifting up off the ground.

Invading the breeze they all inhale
Tears and hope without fail.

But sadness lingers, hidden too
mingling there, they never knew.

Sins of anger, words of spite
drifting up into the night.

The ribbons dance their angry song
poisoned love of all gone wrong.

The clueless ones sleep rough tonight
they’ve breathed in all the fear and spite.

Vengeful ribbons of those we love
dance and float way up above.

Nothing’s sacred, nothings clear
not even the ribbons of those we hold dear.

Necessary Evil

My words have traveled
into the valley of
the rendered Caesars.

I have turned my back on my
own words because of rejection.
Peace,since, has never been
found.

Being silenced is neither a gift
nor blessing.....
it's being a human less state of breath.

when all is chore,it is the betrayal
one seeks.
for the plight of my own soul
is mine.

How is it that I can cross
the threshold of its Golden purity,
live in the expression of artistic faith?

back to lands filled with epic gods,
valiant lords and nurturing maidens.

I seek my breath once again,
hear me advocate..
hear my plea.

Beauty

I could say she’s very lovely
Her complexion as smooth as silk
There’s no doubt in its verity
but she’s of a different ilk.
No words can express her beauty
To try would be a futile whim
The words would be a blaspheme-
To parrot them would be a sin.
Frenchmen would say vous êtes beau
A hackneyed phrase she heard before;
Italians, siete bello
Same old phrase from a different shore.
The fact is, her” beauty is truth”-
An ephemeral time of youth.

A Walk Through Time

Remembering times of fear and disbelief...
When all the words spoken spilled with grief...
From a time of feathered heartache and loss...
Never getting through, and treading with a cross...
Holding pain inside as choices were not mine...
Lifting up my spirits alone with music and time...
Standing tall in a valley as the rocks tumble down...
Glimmers of light peak through as I speak with no sound...
A poets words thrown on the floor till the paper grabs it all...
Expressions of life and love as my whisper answers the call...
My pen and mind project images like a silent movie...
But the words scream out loud to tell of love and misery...
Walls and carpeted floors are my playground to write...
Not just of sadness , but a man who found his flight...

Silence

Piercing my skull, splitting my head
Louder than life, waking the dead
The incessant ramblings of men ill bred
Oblivious to the pleasure of words unsaid

Pushing through the crowds, my face so grave
Knowing in my heart that all I crave
Is a space distanced from this sea of noise
Just me, my thoughts and life's little joys

Oh, the joy of hearing pure untainted sound
Like the patter of rain on God's sweet ground
And the feel of the sand and the pebbles so smooth
Even the thunderous waves sing a lullaby to soothe

Searching far and wide for the world of my dreams
That luscious piece of land like strawberries and cream
Where I stare at the stars, drifting off to sleep
Waking up to the dew drops as the morning leaves weep

With half my life gone by so fast
Realization has finally crept in at last
That the answer I seek, what I want to see
Lives deep in me, waiting to be set free

All I need to do is to close my eyes
Just talk to myself, hear my laughs and cries
No feelings to be voiced, no sound to the words
Just silence so pure that every thought is heard

Beach

I'm all alone with pen in reach
on this solitary beach.
I must create as words command.
I'm peopling this lonely land
and making castles out of sand.

In the place where words won't reach
the lie is told there's one for each.
With solitary pen in hand.
I tried and tried to understand;
to make word castles out of sand.

I am alone, there's none in reach
I'm only left this lonely beach.
The pen slips from my tired hand.
Perhaps one day, I'll understand.
There was a castle, made of sand.
