I am a world traveller.
I am a reputable cartographer and explorer.

know seemed to have interest

be done before the party goers arrived.
She like using terms for the chores
which were incomplete and offered to
do them herself, Fee-end she spoke of the
staff lacking to clean both softshelled crabs
and the softshelled crayfish. They should be

Leaving the crew of one puzzled. A hall of fame
to the genius who invents a robot who isn't afraid

Shimmy was startled to see her son Will at noon.
I thought you started your new job today, she said.
I packed you a lunch.
I got so nervous, I left it there, he replied.
Can you make me a grilled cheese sandwich?
Her husband, Jake, started to speak, but her look quelled him.
After lunch she offered to drive Will back to his job site.
I don’t have one he admitted. I kind of walked out.
Jake’s face steamed over; he left the room.
I lied to my brother; I told him that Will would make a good employee.
“Is there anyone else who would hire him?” she asked.
Will had already walked off five jobs and been fired from six more.
No, Jake replied. “Nobody”.
Shimmy had spoiled her son so hard, that he was not employable.
Jake would not have married her if he had met Will first.
Will, it is time you grew up, Jake said to Will that night.
Will began to cry; Shimmy patted his back, glaring at Jake.
Jake went to his friend Fred’s house.
“Stepson again?” Fred asked.
Jake nodded.
“Daddy, I want some milk,” Fred’s daughter Monica whined.
As Fred poured it, Jake wondered if they should introduce Will and Monica.
They were both forty-two.

Hi my name is Teresa my friends call me big T.
I'm crippled with Muscular dystrophy.
I'm unable to walk or write my name.
Life is hard but there's no one to blame.
I thank God for my poetry that I'm able to write.
Also for all my friends on the poetry site.
I try real hard to do what I do.
Writing makes me happy anything else makes me blue.
Some days I'm sad and I need to cry.
Some days I'm happy and don't know why.
My husband and family dry my tears.
They're the reason I have no fears.
My love for them is why I hold on.
Hope I'm their treasure when I'm gone.

I am in love with myself
I don’t need anybody else
I do everything on my own anyway
I do what I want no matter what anyone has to say
Your validation is not necessary
I have a license for self respect and confidence
That I don’t conceal but most definitely carry
I have a strong spirit
I am a lioness on the prowl
I do all things to make myself proud
I possess a gift of love within myself
No one can take away my wealth
I am blessed
Way up like Sean and drake
I pride myself on being real
And guard myself from the fake
I know my worth
I smile through every situation
The good, the bad and the worse
I can take pain like a soldier
I get back up when I’m down

I am a woman
A ruby, a rare gem to find

There’s nothing you can do or say to stop my grind

A creation of God so divine

Let me introduce myself,
to you and only you.
I have dreams,
but none of them have been told.
I have thoughts,
but none of them have been said.
I have feelings,
but they are trapped away,
under lock and key; were they will stay.
I want more,
out of the life I live.
I want to learn,
and gain the knowledge to be a success.
I want to feel all the emotions,
that life has to give;
hatred, sadness, happiness and love.
I want to be,
hated, mourned, rejoiced, and loved.
I want to be seen,
and be present.
I want not to be unseen,
standing by the sidelines, feeling un-content.
I need to know, what my purpose is.
But who am I to say what I need,
demand what I want?
What makes me better than anyone else?
What makes you better than me?
Questions, questions,
with no answer’s.
Still I ask myself everyday,
when will I introduce myself,
to the world, in this way?
