Inerrant Poems

Composing Destiny

I dream poetry;
I breathe poetry, for poetry
calls your name, feeling your
inerrant essentia—
your soul bleeds into mine—
a collision of cosmos,
diffused magnetically, once
a vagrant in a haze of miasmic
vapors—wildered and exposed—
you unshackled me from
this purgatory;
inversely immersing me in
your sphere of solace, and
blooming artistry,
lulling the vast polarities
splintering each layer of my veracity.
I dream poetry,
for your love drizzles
burgeoning constellations, amid
rosette sepals galvanizing my
orphic nuclei, with
every spark we sigh,
tethered to the infinite composition
of our unwavering love compellingly,
beyond heaven and earth,
devoted to you—
your fallen star; no longer silent, circling
nocturne arias entwining our destiny.

Premium MemberMy Core Beliefs

Everyone believes in something or other
whether it's religion, God, humanity at heart
there deep down inside in our soul
is a place where life does indeed start

I believe in a loving sovereign God
who sent His son to earth for my salvation
there at Calvary's cross paid my sins
all of this for my eternal redemption

This God created all this world
by the word of His mouth did He
gave me His inerrant holy word
so by it my heart's set free

This God by His holy scriptures
and His holy spirit dwelling within
guides me to walk in His way
all the way to heaven away from sin

I believe because God convinces
that His divine word is fully true
showing that this Lord God loves me
electing myself to be changed anew

This is the reason why
I believe what I do
not everyone will duly agree
but our hearts all must be true

(This is one of my oldies from some years ago which some of my new friends would like to see. )

Premium MemberThe Lord Is My Portion - Psalm 119: 57-64

What a blessed privilege to know
that I have a portion which is the Lord
the best part I could ever truly have
for He gives me His mighty strong sword

This sword is His mighty inerrant word
my life is secure when I keep it
Lord, with my whole heart, seek thy favour
keep your promise to me so I don't quit

My mind thinks often of your testimonies
for my ways need be as your way
immediately hearing from you I obey
knowing your blessing comes without delay

The wicked seek to draw me in
help me never to forget your law
rise early to bring praise to you
for your righteousness will so draw

My companions are filled with godly fear
in your word, they dwell day and night
look out and see God's perfect love
be taught in holy writ for it's divinely right

(This is my " Psalm 119 project" which I began to write a couple of years ago, so this is the eighth poem of twenty-two poems I've written over that time to cover all of Psalm 119.)

So many things can make us afraid
letting Satan suggest so many lies
it's a crippling effect when afraid
tares at your heart causing your cries

Look up to God to give you faith
learn to trust Him for all He's done
all His promises are sure and amen!
stand strong, hold fast, never to run

Be sure of God's inerrant word
it's all true with no error at all
give praise to God for every word
divinely given with heavens call

In God alone, I put my complete trust
to know His favor is never to be afraid
looking to my savior who is in control
who on Calvary's cross my sin was paid

God is greater than the flesh of man
what can man do to God's own
God watches them at every moment
in His hand so safe flesh and bone

(Psalm 56:3 (ESV)
"When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God whose word I praise, in God I trust, I shall not e afraid. 'What can flesh do to me?")

Premium MemberThe Truth Working Out Within You

Living out our lives in this world
takes many turns and corners by far
a need there is to be your own man
to stand fast showing what you are

I personally seek to stand on truth
the truth of God's inerrant authoritative word
allowing it to soak into my whole being
sending error away to fly like a bird

Living as I do in this godless world
that has no time for God and His way
spreading what everyone thinks is right
nobody's wrong they say as light is day

But God looks for faithful honest men
to hold forth His truth never to stand down
no matter the consequences that come
I stand fast for God when the world will frown

So I seek to hold God's truth
fully as high as the birds that fly
then no matter what this world says
I'll believe in God fully till the day I die

Premium MemberGod's Mighty Swift Sword

There is a weapon belonging to God
one that strikes right in the heart
it comes with power that's not human
God moves along in no small part

This is God's great mighty sword
it's so sharp piercing one right through
coming with conviction giving no peace
till the spirit comes making one new

This is the word of God all true
which brings life to the very full
it's inerrant authoritative and eternal
to have it is such a precious jewel

A believer would have his very own
it would be personal to them alone
every day alone in their quiet place
meditate on His word to bear that stone

To have that powerful sword
so it cuts into sin in our walk
what a mighty weapon to deliver
making us able to walk the talk

Premium MemberGod Is My Salvation -Isaiah 12: 2,3

All mankind is born with Adam's Curse
filled with original sin caught in Satan's trap
in need of a substitute to take their place
it came when God's son took our rap

The Lord Jehovah came in the person of Jesus
so now there's no reason at all to be afraid
having confidence and strength to sing aloud
now I can trust in Him for the price is paid

This one has become truly my salvation
for this Jesus took my sins every one
cast them away as far as east from west
so now I know the transaction's done

Joy now fills my heart fully
with water abundant, I can draw
from wells of my salvation freely
this, my God, has eternally saw

This is my everlasting inheritance
in the true knowledge of God's word
hold fast His inerrant authoritative truth
to ignore these facts is surely absurd

('Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.)

Premium MemberApproved For God's Service -2 Timothy 2: 15

Living in this world as God's servant
seeking to please the creator of all
our giving must be total of one's self
nothing less is acceptable for your call

This call is divinely sent from heaven above
the triune God Himself selects His very own
for to serve their master on the highest of high
He who saved them from a heart of stone

The living God who gives His approval
to only those that give Him their best
so they've no need of being ashamed
standing tall truly passing God's test

God has given mortal men His word
the divine inerrant authoritative scriptures
this needs corrective handling throughout
for God's truth is indeed what really cures

Be faithful to the God of wonders
standing firm proving God is true
giving yourself to His perfect will
to worship Him who made you

(2 Timothy 2:15 "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a
worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.")

Up In Heaven

Someone whispered once to me
You see up there, up there we’re free
We cannot see it or know its gate
But it’s from down here we live to wait
And when its time, our time to go
Up there to heaven is where we’ll blow
Towards the light, our spirits shall ride
To a magical heaven where hierarchies abide
Its spiritual radiance of all that is calm
A place of celestial divinity as sited in psalms
Just perfect and beautiful and gloriously pure
With magnificent colours that heal all obscured
Souls of the past of future of present
Working together in love light and inerrant
With unicorns and Angels and all that is free
And one day amongst them soon to be me.

Premium MemberLeaving Your Mark

The scriptures declare born into this world
we bring nothing dying we leave our all
so what's the point of life here below?
let's think what mark have I left on its wall

Hopefully, I've been able to influence some
by my actions, words and how I did walk
may some have sought to follow my steps
pointing their eyes to my solid rock

That rock is God himself in His Son
as His word declares to be the only way
that way I've sought to follow in life
so that others would seek Him one day

God's holy word I've believed in my heart
from Genesis to Revelation has been my guide
for it's inerrant, inspired, faithful and true
it's influenced me being right at my side

This world would truly be a better place
if they would keep God's word to trust and obey
give honour and glory to Jesus the saviour
this is my mark left that's all I've got to say!

Premium MemberThe Purpose of Holy Scripture

We've all got favorite Bible texts
ones we hopefully can bring to mind
each day we may read a Bible passage
hoping for a hidden gem we'll find

But what good does the Bible do?
in our busy lifes so very full
do we really take the time to study?
has it a prominent place to truly rule?

God's holy word has a divine purpose
to be a revolutionary master book
so our life's are so really effected
making us realise it needs be shook

The purpose of holy scripture
is so it will make a change
in our lifes to be so different
positively transforming out of range

God's holy authoritative inerrant book
this is holy spirit's means of impact
working in and through us to be godly
for God's glory this is biblical fact

Quote:
("It's not hard to take well known Scriptures lightly. Sure we've heard and read them. We might even be able to rattle them off quickly. But the Bible wasn't meant to become familiar to us - it was meant to change our lives.)

Premium MemberGod's Eternal Inerrant Word

Today the truth is on the scaffold
with so many rejecters hating it
making themselves lord over truth
changing it for their own fool writ

God's eternal truth is exactly that
it's power evident for all to see
for centuries God proved His word
changing lifes making them free

This truth is inerrant fully so
divinely inspired from heaven's finger
holy spirit anointed upon it's vessel
his force evident to not linger

So preach it preachers full force
let the lion loose out of it's cage
for God encaptures His planned attack
eternal inerrant from age to age

('Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.') Matthew 24: 34,35 (esv)

Premium MemberLonely Dark and Painful

The holy inerrant word of God
declares all who just won't believe
the gospel for their eternal good
Christ's salvation they won't receive

For those their judgement is just
they will be sent to everlasting hell
lonely dark and painful so it be
such agonies never able to quell

To think they could've accepted Christ
that every day to carry His cross
what blessed privilege would've been
but so sadly it's their eternal loss

No one knows hells real true reality
with many tears one can only ponder
Lord save those still in darkness
bring light to the lost out yonder

'A single day in hell will be worse than a whole life carrying the cross' - J.C. Ryle

Premium MemberA Slave To Righteousness

Let's take a look and consider
to be dead without no thought to sin
living a life full of Christ the Lord
following His every step all to cling

Reject unrighteousness out of hand
commit yourself to the Lord of life
who removes death from your heart
so united to overcome all strife

Does that mean we're not under law?
so grace will always be our key
no no! righteousness only can rescue
but where is it for it's gotta be true

Slavery is the way to win this
not to sin for it just brings death
but obedience bringing righteousness
thanks to God for each divine breath

So follow on leave every act of sin
be real slave to righteousness
in obeying God's inerrant word
this road leads you to holiness
