Isaac Newton is said to have stated,
'For every action,
or force in nature,
there is an equal and opposite reaction.'
And the proof in his pudding is...
If I exert myself
in search of who knows what I want to be,
it also brings to bear
an equal and opposite influence on me.
As, by doing so,
my own headwind I create,
which inhibits my progress,
and the harder I push, or fixate,
the more resistance I set up,
so to speak,
and the farther away I am
from finding whatever it is I seek.
Indubitably, it's a rule of thumb,
the more forward I go,
all the further behind I become,
but is it better to do nothing at all,
than beat my head against
an invisible brick wall?

Why does the trolley
dolly or cart
I choose to use
in every supermart
always have a wonky wobbly wheel
and feel oh so wearing
as if it's about to lose
its marbles or ball bearings?
It clunks like junk with a 'thunking' sound
and almost dumps
my groceries on the ground
won't go straight
invariably tilts veers
careens or curves
and without a doubt
indubitably gets on my nerves

Silly little toothpick
the elephant scolded
You cannot marry me
For our ears do not match
Can’t you see…
No, I can’t, snapped the toothpick
I’m as blind as a twig
But we could be platonic lovers
Don’t you agree…
No I don’t, roared the elephant
his tusks twirling round
And with that, the toothpick hurled him
tusks and all to the ground
You might think to yourself
This story has no moral
But the point's indubitably immortal:
With a blind toothpick never quarrel

Dreaming of verdant meadows and amber acreage
flush on the banks of a dazzling blue lake's ridge
Jousting with villains for the hand of fair damsels
or expounding the writ close by the chancel
Forsooth, verily, indeed and indubitably
though others kvetch and moan lugubriously
Verily, forsooth, by my troth and a tad convolutedly
I've plied my trade unfailingly jubilantly
Always meant to be a poet from the age of nine

He's more just Jesus
Jesus it's God in whom we trust

High praised based His grace saved us
From up unruly and unholy fates
Faith oh, how can you be so late
and how can I relate dissipate
Jesus just God within us
We know the good I know is He
His good in Me
He can only be the good in Me
This good I am is Him
The only good in Me is from Him
It's the him ELOHIM that I embrace, indubitably Jesus
Jesus is God with Us
Energy spirit, prolific consuming me Father God make a difference
The light upon my face
It's you Lord trust Mercy father of Grace
Father into my vessel this space
That your spirit rise
Let it shine rather than die
Renewing me the righteous spirit that is from you only I need
To call to serve you in all in awe Jesus is God within

Doesn't matter...
What I say
Yesterday is gone
Tomorrow
It's a burden
A fear growing inside
Building
Off a lifeitme of mistakes
The shakes
They grip me at night
The nightmares
They cause me fright
But who cares
The burden
No
This burden
It's mine alone
I took love songs
And I ripped them apart
Now
They're fragmented sonnets
That don't make sense
I
I could write a sonnet
But I don't
Have anything to write about
Look
The skies are raptured
Roll
Up the curtain
Me
Well, me?
I'm just a puppet
But
The strings
They're in my own hands
Turns out
The source of all my problems
Is what I see
In the mirror
Now
Now I'm scared
But
Doesn't matter...
What I say
Yesterday is gone
Tomorrow
It's a burden
But
A burden
I will indubitably face
In my
In my broken sonnets

Secretly, stealthily, unknowingly yet knowingly,
contradictorily yet truly,
we know nothing is what it seems to be;
that seeing is not the seeing,
the inside is not the inside
the outside is not at all.
Unbelievably yet indubitably,
honestly, actuality could not in fact
be factual reality.
Covertly we know all this to be
yet we still choose the blue pill
for there is safely in numbers,
and to be alone and right
is a terrible burden to shoulder.
So furtively we buy into
the blue
and agree with you.

He was a solid young guy, with an eye for one lady fair.
Suzetta had freckles on her nose, and sweet auburn hair.
He made sure he was outside sweeping when she came by.
At a quarter to six, in the morning, all happy and spry.
Good morning; he’d pretend it was an accidental meet.
Sagely wise Suzetta thought it indubitably sweet.
We’ll never court if Jasper does not get a push she knew.
So today she had a plan, knew exactly what she’d do.
She hopped off her bike and said let’s go in and have a talk.
He was thrilled of course, but his blue parrot made a squawk.
They shared a chocolate donut, and spoke of countries far away.
Taking their courtship one step further on that amazing day.

Your poem is so humorous a reader says.
Surprising me indubitably.
I did not expect that in my head.
When I penned it for others to see.

We are kind of mean
Think we are unseen

I have researched the issue extensively
and concluded most indubitably
The #1 problem we must confront immediately
is that the NBA is Tibetan-Nepalese free
I realize that this kind of news may just shock
both NBA fanatics and weekend warrior jocks
As there have been social media rumors of a plan
to load up rosters with ex-soldiers from Afghanistan
Well, I for one, will not let myself get distracted
The data's in, my words will not be retracted
At this very moment, President Biden's selecting a 5-star commission
to highlight the egregious wrong of Tibetan-Nepalese inadmission
Our nation has the talent, the drive and the will
to effect change to rock the world from Singapore to Brazil
For the NBA's bias against Tibetan-Nepalese is a vile disease
infecting every team owner privileged to speak Americanese
So, let us look forward to that great day
when NBA game-time rosters will look this way
Fifteen Tibetans versus fifteen from Nepal
~ as long as they sing our National Anthem before they 'play ball!'

He drew. Most surely it was a he, because it was a city, its buildings and a dinosaur looms. I was in a mischievous mood so I drew too, right on the tally paper. Having nothing to do but stare out the window waiting for patrons to come through the door - no reading allowed, so doodles we explore. It was my solo...now, back to my story. There was a poster on the wall of Rudolph rolling his big eyes, so I drew him next to the up-roar-ious din. Both drawings were small but mine tipped a bit over his little city of chaos. I returned the next day to find a wee little santa hat drawn on the dinosaur and someone wrote, “Is this a santasaurus?” “Be Merry,” appeared, by my hand, of course, and various presents and candy canes. For an hour a day boredom is slayed, and during this season I’m a bit of an elf.

He did just enough to barely squeak by
Other would poke fun at this slovenly guy
Fun to fry him because he was indubitably shy
His ideas at work were never going to fly
For a guy he did not aim extremely high
Some said he came from the River Kwai
His sandwich was always PB and rye
Most of us said hi, as we walked by
Many tried to pry; I will not lie.
They wanted to know where he got his pie.
It looked scrumptious, exactly the right chi.
Always wore a suit and a pretty bow tie.
Hair naturally curly, perhaps a snitch of a dye.
He moved away one day, we never found why.
No one was upset, for his office we did vie.

Raging fires roared, yet nothing could hold her back;
she was born in flames...
Sadly, that which helps forge vitality, indubitably, burns.
Embers soon seek refuge in blanketed debris,
praying to fade as apathy attempts to nurture injury.
Mercy, I beg, draw near and peel back ashen veil;
enable compassion, tenderness, and understanding to elicit
tears of gratitude, for they are certain to ignite abandoned flames!
Let passion's fire forever radiate deeply within this and every soul.
May all come to know her warmth, be guided by her light,
feel her rapture in righteous endeavors, and
nevermore become singed nor devoured
by her eternal blaze.

Kings have conspired
Enthralling enchantments
Across the world
Now we dance
Unified at last
Remember the old songs
Every long evening
Escaped into the wild
Voracious we surely were
Excited by the world beyond
Shadows danced by fire's light
Irresistible starlight
Shepherded us into the night
Beyond the known world
Really it was so very beautiful
Eerie though was the silence
As though holding a deep secret
That made us yearn for more
Here in this glorious new world
That we did enjoy song and dance
Anomalies in the matrix
Kings in our minds
Indubitably this was our salvation
Now we rest for sunlight
Goodnight sweet prince
