Best Indubitably Poems

Premium Member Flammable Soul

Raging fires roared, yet nothing could hold her back;
she was born in flames...

Sadly, that which helps forge vitality, indubitably, burns.

Embers soon seek refuge in blanketed debris,
praying to fade as apathy attempts to nurture injury.

Mercy, I beg, draw near and peel back ashen veil;
enable compassion, tenderness, and understanding to elicit
tears of gratitude, for they are certain to ignite abandoned flames!

Let passion's fire forever radiate deeply within this and every soul.
May all come to know her warmth, be guided by her light,
feel her rapture in righteous endeavors, and
nevermore become singed nor devoured
by her eternal blaze.

Premium Member You Inspire Me

Just the thought of you
inspires me to heights
of grandiosity and elegance

You coerce me to create
writings, poems of distinction
indubitably perchance

How does this entrancing
energy transpose into art,
permutations of heights

drifting through ions
of transposition, toughness
circumcises deliverance

It's a mystical phenomenon
that's existed for ages,
from the inception

of humanity's ineptness
through the age of technology
bolstered by craters

of existential drifting
through generations
parallel to the Muse.

I'm Just Getting Started

I'm just getting started, though I'm not in control,
But I am all dressed and indubitably, very well-composed,
virtuously loved by many, with honored adulation exposed,
so I lie and wait, but ready to go, anew, in my dapper clothes.

A broken watch on a floor, as time ticks onwards as before,
A kiss that's giving--believing, a kiss that's receiving--deceiving,
The moon coasts to attuned hearts that are squabbling on a lane,
Stars twinkle to sparkled wishes pouring from tear ducts of the hopeless,
Night waves surge, tickling the traipsing shoeless of the fully-clothed.
Baby falls to ahhs!--cries--carried, cuddled to coos,
Then wide-eyed to wonders of weird faces of two adult fools,
A writer's measure can be the length of a Tolstoy novel or the brevity of a Haiku,
Mata Hari can read her victims like a book, while Cassanova can undress pages with his looks,
The blessed and the bliss read scriptures from this,
While Cain to the cursed cast spells and do their worst,
From the sublime to the lowly, to the noteworthy and the ordinary,
From Titanic's affluent first-class to her destitute in steerage,

One day we will stand equals, titless bearing none other,
The Book Of Life is read, there stands, once a king next to a pauper.

There are such days I’d love to hide
I’d feel indubitably justified
Locking all doors to stay inside

In total silence were I able to decide
I’d sit and write now that’s implied
I’d let the ideas sizzle and collide

There is one dame I would want by my side
I so cherish her affinity with much pride
At any given time her intrusion I’d let slide

Her interruptions I have not once denied
Welcoming interventions in wholehearted stride
Doors wide open to let my muse in for the ride

I’d not waver to see her step up and preside
In her I’ve always felt free to confide
That I’d be happy writing day and night until I died

Mother’s Day-Three Years Later

I may speak to you
as a still portrait on the wall
no wailing
ghosts don’t present
only those of memories
especially
clasping the cross
between my fingers
as it was buried
on your chest
no tears
I only whisper
“Mom…”
are you stirred?
I reach out
truly
lean in
indubitably
to the Lord
who
with no doubt
hears
my heart cry
I don’t use
many words
on
the smile of your shadow
but lean
into
the sure everlasting arms
of Jesus

it’s almost time to honor you
are you still my mother
or merely my sister
in Christ?
do we retain the same relationship
or
is it like husbands & wives?

the bible says
we are like the angels
in heaven
no longer
given
to marriage

so I wonder…
I wondered
at the beginning
of your death -
do I still
have a mother
or
am I motherless?

I tuck
the Mother’s Day card
away
my husband thought
I’d want to put
it into her arms
next to her large portrait
next to her purple urn
on that first motherless occasion

I can’t even look at it
I can’t conceive it
the scent of funereal flowers
fills my living space
and the altar of grief notes
is growing
I throw them down
like a house of cards
likewise discard the flowers
leaving dried petals of sunshine
in a broom closet box

it’s three years later
the dust settles
the drum beats
always reminding me
we must rehearse
every day
not pick up the phone
not regress
be addressed
only by our own

my children can still reach me
if they choose…I’ll hear

I'm afraid that this is reality
I don't know what you think of me
As my metaphors of our friendship are your inspirations
Deeply loving you is my insanity’s confirmation
Your voice will always echo in my ears,
And I promise you the sound of it will be there for years
It’s painful to be so close yet be so far apart
I may have your friendship but will I ever have your heart
When I look into your eyes my world stands still
Through my body I suddenly feel a chill
Saying I love you, is not sincere any more
So many heart breaks and spirits are sore
As we choose to trust words
Action is always louder, and it is heard
As I’m trapped in this anxiety created by our society
Not seeing you love me back isn’t satisfying my curiosity
It was hard to face the truth that I wasn’t for you, so I embraced it indubitably
That’s all I wanted was for you to love me

In the historical archives, many trails have led to
The making of a legend, those born with the pioneer spirit
Of individuality, bred deeply within their soul.
Such was this man we called, Mr. President, Theodore Roosevelt.
A cowboy rough rider, whom wrangled his way with true
Grits fight, making his way to the oval office round-up in
Washington, DC,
Thus America's pride, was alive within Teddy's wild heart.
This wilderness environmentalist, who's grand vision,
Had the foresight to leave a wondrous gift behind him.
To a nation beloved by him, this honorable man,
Bestowed his legacies inheritance for future generations,
To enjoy forever, the green valley's known as the
National Parks and National forests.
A nation's founding father, his face indubitably
Engrained, into solid granites bed rock, on the exterior of
Mount Rushmore, so does it bare witness, to this presidents
Greatness unto posterity.
A rugged individualist, believing in the fair deal policy,
For all men, should all have the same rights and liberties.
Theodore did so carry a big stick, but spoke softly,
In the foreign policy arena, thus receiving the Noble Peace Prize.
Drive did he, the stake of progress across the raw landscape
Of Cuba, creating a man made wonder, called the Panama Canal.
But if asked Theodore Roosevelt’s greatest achievement,
Was the raising of his children, and living life to it's
Fullest depth's degree.
A grievice day, to lose one such as he, but this man
Whom loved adventure, looked at the death as only
The beginning of another chapter's turning of a page,
Beyond lies another horizon's sunset to be explored.
Don't cry at the loss of one such as myself,
Shed no tears, yet raise a toast instead, on my behalf,
Celebrate how I lived, and for the little accomplishments
I've left behind.
For in this way Theodore Roosevelt wished to be
Remembered and the greatest tribute of all.

Qualitative’s Quantitative Dilemma

Numbers in checkers
Numbers in chess

Thinking beyond 2 + 2 = 4
Knowing 2 & 2
Portends extension
Invites the mind to ponder
Knowing a concluded 4
Indubitably finite

And so it goes
This constant tug-of-war
Placing the challenging value of quality
Against the easier calculated quantity

Like the riches of a fairytale ruler
Versus the needs-fulfilled of the provincial
One wallows in numbers for counting
While the other sees their every move
That of thinking through what constitutes
The next hour’s harvest of nourishment

Who is with the fear of losing?
The burden of fright?

Who smiles trustingly on patience?
The gift of nurturing?

If life were a board game
Which terrain would you choose?

That of hop skip and jump
The plundering of any spoils within reach
Or that which demands careful decision
Where precise positioning of tomorrow
May continue to provide all one needs
While protecting all worth dying for
That stealth-like foreshadowing gift
Answering one of history’s
Exhaustive conundrums

Must quality of long-term goals
Always be threatened by
Quantity of short-term rewards?

My First Love

Wrinkled, but beautiful still
Even in decrepit apparel and uncombed;
Jagged skin and sensual fragrance lost
But still spongy her touch is and the smell
Only thing I’d miss the most in the universe.

Toiled through hardship and still indebted,
Altruistic she- uncared and unattended her own needs,
But protected her offspring despite dearth
From cold and famine, the fatal scourge,
And well-groomed into esteemed mortals.

In spite piercing pang and pain within
Beautiful soul, still smile on the parched lips,
For bold but tender my darling is,
So kind at heart and divinely soft in speech,
She is, perhaps the surrogate of Goddess.

Aged and hoary now appears my hero,
But conversant, cultured and well-versed,
The fount of worldly wisdom she is
Who speaks of art of living and greatness-
The lessons from myriad mistakes of her past.

Dearest and my favorite, still the one I so adore,
And now Silver Jubilee of our intimacy,
Fonder my heart becomes of her, my love,
Indubitably the most desired and undeniable,
Only is she the joy and ecstasy of my life.

Best friend she is to me since infancy
With whom I played and quarreled often,
And my sweetheart, indeed my first love,
With whom I had my first kiss and shared a quilt-
My beloved mother- the creator of this poet.

I love you, mom.

Abstractly Phenomenal Butterfly Thesis

She was an abstract woman in a clinical world
theoretically reasoning her notions were perfectly
discerning midst-chaotic sensibilities,
whilst her inane whimsicality kept semblances of
insanity eye-leveled twixt reconfigurable ideologies'
over-share & objectionably designated delicacies of
exothermic exposures pseudo-psychic phenomenons,
therefrom she found divinities were misaligned
with governmental expansions as an alternative to
spirituality and hypotheses of butterfly hurricane frolics,
'twas indubitably manifestations of poetically piddled
calculating escapism artistes & scoffing con-conspirators

Unquotable quotes Friends – XVI

Can friends also be lovers ; not certainly under covers.
Can friends do one another harm and stay calm ; not unless they have lost their sense of alarm.
Can you make a friend do what you will not do yourself ; what’s the use of having a friend who will not.
Can you ask a friend for a recommendation which will get you a better job than his ; if you were him, you’d check to see if the signature was his.
Can you ask the friend running the marathon race with you to keep you company until the end ; if he does, dump him before you take the last bend.
If you asked your friend to take your sick dog to the veterinarian’s and if he agrees, give him your chihuahua, your kakatua, your Siamese twin and your cochon d’Inde, for a start. Keep the anaconda for a little later.
If you have a friend who has a large family, especially of the right sex, ask him to bring his entire family to your nudist camp at the local beach for the club’s commemoration day ; if he doesn’t, he cannot be your friend, so try another ; if the fool does, make certain the battery pack for your movie camera is fully charged and within reach.
Can friends who know one another well enough share the same dreams ; yes, if they lick on the very same vanilla-flavoured ice-creams.
Can friends you call on the phone at home after hours not hang up before you do be trusted to fork out a loan for your mortgage payment ; if yes, then go and live with him or her at once.
Can a friend who backbites and carries tales about you be trusted to give your bride away at your seventh nuptials ? Yes, he most certainly can !
Can a friend who reviles his fellow candidates in an election primary be trusted to offer a longstanding friend a cabinet post in the event of a final resounding victory ? Indubitably, otherwise they wouldn’t be friends for that long anyway.
Can you let a friend take from you to give to a sworn enemy ; of course you can if you have been trying to get rid of her for a very, very long time.
Can a friend who never ceases to talk of having saved you from your friends be counted among your enemy’s best friends ?
Wives of friends who are always alone need to take up the trombone or trumpbone.

Indubitably there is one emotion
By the time I feel its first nettle
I am at the point of explosion
It is already too late to settle

I become immediately apoplectic
Before the green-eyed monster
Is validated as authentic
Thus exaggerating it asunder

I find this is so flabbergasting
My face turns red and I glower
Jealousy for me is most suggesting
That my sanity has been devoured

Glittery Oblivion

The corridor is darkly invasive
usurpation knows not where it steers,
my nightgown caught on wildfire,
ending was indubitably a flimsy inferno
dreaming phantasma went up in smoke
i was flying naked in my captured head,
blissfully feverish in comfortable suffering
chose not to wake as you prickled slumber,
whilst functionally violaceous pain screamed
taking flight to swap business dealings
i could have opted out, your gray reluctantly
presented within Pandora's key predicament,
contracts were sealed, sensed a lethal attraction
twisted mid your tongue tied transactional eyes,
you presented an untimely shiny gem,
was hungry for anybody with a flaw
we cozied up on a nonchalant sofa
underneath blankets of complexity,
shared a hot cuppa mocha java delusion
spiked with combustible confusion,
dripping havoc like beaten egg whites on crack
handed over lockbox to a transfixed universe
awoken to find the bomb had dropped,
missed wily antagonism & landed pon converted uppers
heeded being so high up amid gallerias' artfulness
titanic nightmare sank beneath three hours indifference,
the machine was out of order, swallowed another pill
spellbound hot air balloon was carried away for safekeeping,
all that was perceptibly audible were familiar Pink tracks on twisted breezes

                                              'shine on you crazy diamond'

Promised a Poesy Garden

In the shadows of a
    darkly relinquished night,
 an unrelenting musing beast struck
       presenting a proposition,
         as he pranced about
           viscous vision's intentions,
promised a copious poesy garden
        'tween early morn's
            buttercup metaphors
              & dusk's poppy delusions,
danced 'til lavishly penned spirits
    were indubitably unleashed
        exploding 'neath elliptical eclipses;
whence the sun it did bounteously appear
    midst all its magnificent splendor,
        whilst Delphic inky nectar dripped
           deliberately descending beyond
                   hellbent scripted passages,
           vying vaporous voids of creation
                'pon prolifically paradisaical poetry
