Dream

Last night I saw you, In my dream,
You were standing there
Looking at me, with a smile so serene.

The impression of you was vague,
Darker was your hair
Wider was your smile
In your eyes, there was so much of glare.

By your image, I was mesmerized
I walked towards you,
I ran to catch you
But from the grip of the dark, I couldn't get through,

I was being occupied by the darkness all around,
Noo one was in that dark snow
But you, me and the dark scary background,
It never dawned upon me, to let that idea of you go.

I was feeding myself with idiosyncratic ideas of you,
Even though your impression faded a while ago
Perhaps, I got used to running after you
Sometimes loosing my patience,
Sometimes going slow.

There is no way this spell could be broken,
I was in a trap.
Then on my shoulder, I felt a pat.

And from this beautifully dark dream, I got out.
With my blurred vision, I looked around
But you were nowhere to be found.

With a sigh, not sure I was disappointed
Or in a relief, your idea was now far behind,
Even so abstract images of you are on my mind.

Idiosyncratic

What am I?
Flesh and blood and bone
On the surface.
Dive deeper though,
See what you can find
Before you
Drown.

How am I?
Emotions roar
Then dull out
A simple
“Fine”
Which is enough for you
But not for me.

Where am I?
I’m here
Of course,
But not really
Here,
I’m in the zone
And zoning
Out.

Why am I?
Why can’t I just be?
Just be?
Normal.
Normal
Doesn’t exist.
If you’re normal,
Then you
Don’t
Exist.
You don’t exist.

Who am I?
You think you know me.
Look again,
Because you’re wrong.
I’m not
Who you think I am
At all.

An idiosyncratic apothecary,
neo pop corollas line its grove;
The price and results may vary;

Heinous hues hang extraordinary,
the bourgeoise see a treasure trove;
An idiosyncratic apothecary;

Chartreuse poppin’ pills be wary,
a champion’s golden boxing glove;
The price and results may vary;

Bating mediocre alive to bury
immobile in the web they wove;
An idiosyncratic apothecary;

Citrine and amethystine they carry
promise calm, balance, and love;
The price and results may vary;

Naïveté of the Sucker is scary,
 silk subterfuge we do not speak of;
An idiosyncratic apothecary,
the price and results may vary.

I …

loved you all
in my way … obviously
starkly different
as pertaining to our particular bonds
(covalent, in most respects)
each, a glyph to form words in
the phrase of Us …
only one left to my indifferences
(regret requires as much)
the rest …
critical elements, idiosyncratic
shaping this ‘who’ -
weaving his fabric as needed
to be the creation that
was required
or that his modes assumed to be
appropriate for the Other …
summarily ..
you, each and all -
I am your creation, indifferent
your ‘opus apathetic’
and if it is that elemental
fiber that brought you to rejection
then I am not the apple
for your arrow …
not that liability is required
but, if like the other of your ilk you
seek reasoning, party or charge -
any reflection of even
moderate pixelization will suffice
and any rational alibi can
serve as sufficient garland to
grace the dubious, dim
illusory crown
upon your barren …

brow.

The Poem of Big Words

In lieu of tempestuous behavior
Please read the words I write
A colloquium of emotions
Oh, what an equivocal sight

I'm a kleptomaniac of pain
Feeding off the reaction
A ventriloquist of theft
So idiosyncratic

And in this conglomeration
Of acculturation by design
I live life by a pseudoynm
Pretending that it's mine

Premium Member Angelas Mthodical Personality

Angela’s assertive ways were not the ways of a confident man
But to get to high places in her engineering career
She tried to be as forceful as a woman legitimately can

Unseen motives were concealed, not quite clear
Camouflaged from the other employees at her work
Masked from most, concealed only to those she held dear

Idiosyncratic plan with a tiny quirk
Characteristic of Angela’s methodical personality
Unique flavor that appealed to a guy named Dirk

Vice President of engineering department in section C
Dirk promptly promoted Angela to boss, happily.

The Broken Bond

The sea of vacillation
The intense aura of gloom
The acute fever of desolation
The gaudy flowers that didn't bloom

The essence of emotions piercing my heart
My transmogrification into a vehement twee
The broken bond that l could not restart
The enormous contention between you and me

The promotion of my idiosyncratic thoughts
The extremity of unrequited feeling
The profound fight that we fought
The severe wounds that is still healing

The utter silence of zephyr traversing my mind
The perfervid longing for a meet
The attachment that l could not find
The eternal chemistry that Noone can beat

The waves kept on struggling to reach the shore
The dreams that we stitched together
The splintered heart of mine could not roar
In fine The fragments we failed to gather ..

Idiosyncratic Arcadian

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era of
unsophisticated innocence

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era
where there was no ideology of ideal idleness

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era
where there was no sense of conscience,
no ken of moral nous and no subtlety of civilization

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era
where there was just absolute tenet
of tenacity as probity
in every inch of milieu’s existentiality
as of Mother Nature’s intrinsic innateness.
