Humanists Poems

Premium MemberWhen God Died

Bold Nietzsche declared, “God is dead,”
Humans have killed him, so he said.
Enlightened men, all widely read,
have purged his being from their head.

God decomposed and left a stench,
That human genius cannot quench.
The promise of enlightenment
Instead of light has brought man blight.

God’s substitute, goddess reason
The symbol of man’s high treason
Has not engendered human good,
As humanists believed she would.

History and experience teach,
That man cannot perfection reach
By mere intellectual means
For evil exists in his genes.

The two world wars that men have fought,
defy claims of rational thought.
The truth is clear, mankind is flawed,
And badly needs the help of God.

The moral mess mankind is in,
Is evidence of human sin.
The death of God has brought a curse,
And made the plight of humans worse.

That God did die, is indeed true,
But from a different point of view.
God in man’s flesh came down to earth,
To live and die for man’s rebirth.

God is not dead, He is alive,
From Him humans their lives derive.
If you enlightenment desire,
Embrace God and make Him your sire.

Finally it all comes to this hurdle of bones
bleaching now once with the rose red of living
tendons and bones
and the heart as it swings
with seizures and stings
and a tired fatigue so deep
that the body had sunken into the earth.
the humanists are attempting to being
mankind rummaging though life
through trash, cities and castles
maybe man will finish this
and there will be lavender
and rosemary--maybe--for we
have grown tired and our days
seem filled with sadness and pain
Its lavender that I seek, lavender and red roses.

The Fake Humanists

Setting the traps to kill men,
The only word they utter—
Humanity! Humanity!

The stain of blood is on their hands
And burning fire into their eyes;
The drink for their thirst is human blood;
Their hearts are harder than stones;
Still the only word they utter—
Humanity! Humanity!

Like asses, men listen to them
And weave in their dreams
The baya weavers’ nests of peace and equality;
They can’t foresee the angel of death
And the slaughter-house in front of them.
When they come to know, they can’t escape
And become the dumb corpses;
Surrounding them, there is heard the long sighs
Of civilization.

The fake humanists have set traps
In every sphere of life.
Always they get crazy for murder;
But they call men with a tone
Sweeter than sweetmeat
And the only word they utter—
Humanity! Humanity!

Religious fighting is wet.
Not like that.

Herodians

Herodians
Ancient atheists
who worshiped a man
Herodians
Spiritual cannibals
who gnawed on the skull bones
of prophets and saints
Herodians
Ancient humanists
whose doctrine created a cult
that deified a man
Herodians
Disciples of king Herod,
an evil fleshed soul who played God
and died like a man
Herodians
Devil cult of the dead,
where lies your head?
You’re a separated corpse,
a headless body ...
Zombie wandering in the wilderness
Herodians
Satanic cult of the dead,
choosing to worship a man instead of God
You’ve been Lucifer misled
Herodians
Caesar’s most loyal servants,
their children are on the rise again

Paranoid Vistas

Who is behind all the trouble?
Is it the blacks, the whites. the Asians, Native Americans or the Eskimos ?
IS it the Jews, the Christians, the Moslems, the Buddhists, the Humanists?
Let me let you in on a little secret
THEY ALL ARE!
If you are paranoid you will find that your fears may well be justified
The trouble is about to arrive
So prepare yourself
Hold onto your place in the galaxy
For there are meteors and comets
of all descriptions
which may strike you down
Paranoid vistas
Something to ponder
While you await deep winter
Which always comes after the warmth dies
