Glenn Hughes
Rocking voices
Singing dancing bassing
Calming soothing rocking rolling
The best

Premium Member Glenn Hughes 4x4x4

Glenn Hughes is great
He sings so strong
I love his act
He does so belong

He plays the bass
Yes, loud and clear
He makes you want
To come closely near

Fifty years of music
Since he was young
So hard to tell
When it all begun

So we dance tonight
To tunes so nice
It is just simply
A grand pure delight

Perfect Strangers

I don’t recall that first splendid moment
Our meeting point is unknown to my mind
I can still bring to thought your lovely scent
Two perfect strangers so sublime

But I have a life so no more of this
I beg you to please leave me and forget
On just a whim we discovered that bliss
We must remain perfect strangers that met

I’m sorry for the pain that I cause you
All the tears shed for not hearing from me
Cause truly I hoped for a love anew
Yet we must stay perfect strangers sadly

I am sorry for not showing my face
A stranger I will be with not a trace

Premium Member How Glenn Hughes saved my Life

It was a dark and dreary day
Thor was outside hammering clouds
causing all sorts of thunder and lightning

I was up late
I haven’t slept in six years
ever since the Illuminati poisoned my brain

I was sad and I could hear the sirens
calling for me…
“Robert, Robert, come to the bay”

But as I put on my shoes to head for the water
I decided to put Glenn Hughes on the vinyl record player
and to this end he saved me

His lyrics were gifted and crafted as if they
were designed just to hold me tight
his voice lifted and elevated me…
took me out of my shoes

I’ll never forget this day and other days
where he saved me
saved me from the sirens
saved me from the bay

I love you Glenn
I respect you Glenn
And out of appreciation, I will hold Glenn Hughes inspiration poetry contests every month from now until the end of eternity

Premium Member The Embrace that only Glenn Hughes could Orchestrate

She was welcomed into my house
where she entered and said…
what is that quite romantic music playing?

Oh, it is Glenn Hughes on my vinyl record player
and I showed her how it spins and plays the tunes
she was amazed

And then she asked me…
may I have this dance
to which I held her in my arms

Glenn sang and we danced
bowed and swayed, scooted and hopped
all the maneuvers of lovers

And then I looked in her eyes
and she was crying
“What is it my love”, I asked

“It is that I wish to dance with you to Glenn’s music
For all eternity, forever and a day
I don’t ever want to stop”

“But my love”, I said…
“Glenn has over 50 years of songs
We can dance through the night to all his albums”

Her tears began to dry
As she let me hold her dear tight
and she moved in rhythm and twirled in my arms

“Would you like to see Glenn in concert”, I asked
“Oh would I” she exclaimed
“Then a trip to the venue it will be”

But tonight will be with Glenn on vinyl
singing his romantic songs to us
as we so deeply embrace

Premium Member Glenn Hughes in Six Lines

Music that touches the soul
That makes one’s aura glow
For sure this I know
As his voice makes me whoa
From lyrics I watch sow
The next album is always a go

Premium Member Glenn Hughes Wordplay

Sing is what Glenn Hughes does
Sung is what Glenn Hughes was
Dung is for those who hate
Ding to remind not to stay up late
Dine to eat while Glenn Hughes sings
Wine to drink as his music rings
Wipe to take away the tears
Pipe to smoke against more music to hear

Glen Hughes song appreciation

In the sound of tonight, where the stars softly gleam,
Glenn Hughes takes the stage, like a dream within a dream.
With "Soul Mover" playing, the crowd sways in time,
Each note a heartbeat, each lyric a rhyme.

His voice, a river, flows with passion and grace,
A sound of power, filling up the space.
With every strum of the guitar, the soul starts to dance,
Lost in the music, in a trance-like romance.

The chorus lifts us higher, where the spirit feels free,
In the world of Glenn Hughes, where we all long to be.
"Soul Mover" echoes, through the halls of the night,
A song that unites us, in pure musical delight.

So let the music play on, let the soul be moved,
In the presence of greatness, where legends are proved.
With Glenn Hughes as our guide, through the musical sound,
We find our true selves, where the soul is unbound.

Premium Member Glenn Hughes sings to Heaven or Hell

His music is mesmerizing but can one compare it to the sense of Heaven or Hell? He screams as the Voice of Rock and many of his songs are indeed angelic, but what of the ones that turn the fire on? I can see him sampling both, after all Glenn is a God.

what is the rare truth
journey to heaven or hell
to rest or to burn

Premium Member My Mom never knew Glenn Hughes

Mom lived 82 years
and I don’t believe
ever knew Glenn Hughes

Her life was complete
but I imagine she would have been delighted
to hear his voice

Perhaps she’s looking down from Heaven
and listening to Glenn
as I fill the house with his vibrations

Yes, Mom is with me and Glenn
taking away our sorrows
and protecting us from the bay

I miss you Mom dearly
tonight I will play Glenn Hughes on repeat
for you and I

Into the Void of Her Eyes

I ventured into the void,
where silence hummed with electric stars.
Weightless, I floated through chaos,
a shadow adrift in search of a spark.

Her eyes—two galaxies colliding,
held me steady when gravity failed.
She was no ordinary kind of woman,
a stranger to my fears, yet so familiar to my soul.

She laughed,
a melody sharper than steel strings,
her smile bending time—
like the first chord that made me believe
music could heal the cracks within.

Through her, I felt the cosmos,
not empty, but alive with promise,
each beat of her heart a supernova,
each breath a gravitational pull.

I am not the same.
The void didn’t swallow me—
it shaped me,
guided by her starlight and steady rhythm.

Strange and beautiful,
she taught me to sing beyond the silence,
to find harmony in dissonance,
to trust in the song we create together.

And as the universe stretches,
she remains my constant,
a force unstoppable,
a woman unforgettable.

Celebrating Glen Hughes journey

Where the cold nights, the shadows blend,
Glenn Hughes rises, a voice that transcends.
With a soul forged in fire, he sings of the pain,
Each lyric a journey, each note a refrain.

From the ashes of rock, a phoenix takes flight,
His heart laid wide open, a shining light.
With Deep Purple's thunder, he carved out his name,
But it’s in the ballads where he found his true flame.

A warrior of sound, with many stories to tell,
Of love and redemption, of heaven and hell.
His raspy, a comfort for all,
In the chaos of life, he answers the call.

Through the highs and the lows, the struggles he faced,
He channels the darkness, the light interlaced.
In each heartfelt chorus, we find our release,
With Glenn Hughes' music, it brings everyone peace. (Peace within ourselves)
