Goliath the frog was gigantic in size,
often ridiculed out of despise.
He measured as high as six feet tall
and labeled the number one oddball.
But one day, at Frogville's annual event,
intruders stormed in with malicious intent.
"Yummy! Delicious frog legs," they said.
"Perfect for tonight's dinner spread!”
Goliath watched quietly from up on his log
as they began caging each and every frog.
Then suddenly he leaped with all his might,
straight into town to defend their rights.
"Set them free!" He croaked. "Or deal with me!"
"Our legs are for jumpin'; not for munchin'!"
Shocked at Goliath's enormous size,
the villains ran off with fear in their eyes.
All the Frogvillians cheered "HORRAY!
Thank you Goliath for saving the day."
Later, they gave him an award of distinction
for saving the frogs from extinction.
And although he is now dead and gone,
the legend of Goliath the frog still lives on!

Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet eating vegetable one day,
She warned Jack and Jill about the hill, but they still fell from idle play,
Emergency call the Fairy Godmother, tell her hurry with no delay,
She brought them band-aid and pain pills, she always saves the day,
The Seven Dwarfs gave some helping hands, taking home seven pails of water,
On the way to Jack house they met Snow White and Red Riding Hood her daughter,
They told them about the Big Bad Wolf, that the wood-cutter slaughter,
Happy to hear the news, the Easter Bunny gave everyone a chocolate egg,
Jack and Jill got brawta,
Hip-hip-horray,now we can roam free without that trouble maker,
And although Jack and Jill were battered and bruised,
The journey home was fun and laughter,,,
brawta,,,,a Jamaican slang that means,,,extra
Been away for awhile but I am back my friends,,,

Horray for the Wireless World
By Elton Camp
Telephone service comes shooting through the air
And for the wireless Internet signal I sure do care
At one time, I wouldn’t have believed it could be
To talk on Skype and the other person there to see
Remote control clickers work almost everything
And from them not even a single wire does spring
If only electricity by wireless could somehow arrive
With almost no utility lines we would be able to survive
But I guess that there is no way that can possibly be
But considering all the advances, let’s just wait and see
Star Trek communicators were imagination gone too far
But only a few decades later, why right here they are
Is it even possible that the time will finally come around
When those utility poles and lines will be taken down?

Grandma’s Coming to Visit Today
By Elton Camp
Horray! Granny’s coming to visit again
Bringing home-baked cookies in a tin
Kids just love her attention to be shown
Hear her say, “Look how you’ve grown.”
We will know the minute she does arrive
Cause we can hear her coming up the drive
Before she even knocks at the front door,
Because we hear her Harley’s familiar roar

The Car Salesman’s Dream
By Elton Camp
It had been hard a customer to spot
At Honest Uncle Bill’s Used Car lot
But right then, a better car to acquire,
Came Freddie the impulsive buyer
“A newer car I want to get today,
Please pick me out one right away.”
The lot owner had one two years old
It was one that much needed to be sold
“How about the white one over there?”
Freddie: “That one’s fine. I don’t care.
Get it ready for me to take home today.
Let’s go in to your office and I’ll pay.”
“But just how much do you want to spend?”
Freddie: “You know the price, my friend.
You may charge whatever it is you will.
I am sure that I can trust my Uncle Bill.”
“But are you certain it’s the one to take?”
Freddie: “It has power steering and brake?
I’m sure a good car’s all you have for sale.
I don’t really care about any other detail.”
An extended warranty Freddie bought
He accepted the offer without thought
Fifteen percent financing he found fair
Only about the payment did he care
And as Freddie slowly drove away,
The salesman let out a big “Horray”
Then he felt his wife give him a jerk
Bill, you better get up and go to work.”

Tomorrows my b-day,
hip hip horray.
I dont care anymore,
because my best friend has left me,
forever more.
He didnt say it nicely,
he didnt say at all.
Andeh came and screamed at me,
and told me I was wrong.
Apparently I'm the worst person in the world.
Im a clingy stupid girl.
But i didnt even do those things.
Some stupid little guy,
got in front of Luckeh and I.
I am crying,
I'm losing everyone,
everything that I ever cared about.
I hate my b-day, hate it forever.
Because something always goes wrong.
I cut tonight, because,
its the one thing that can never leave me.
I feel like i'm a mistake.
So here ill un do it.
Goodbye.

A deep hunger rests over my soul
as I look to the bridge I see a towering troll
falling, falling, into this crack
deep darkness, happiness I lack
Longing for a breif scene of play
wantingto lounge in that hay
forever wanting whats out of reach
rather be drinking bleach
Oh, my heart, my soul
my life, my role
Gone! It slips away
all the people shout horray
They all want to destroy me
break me down, I forget to be
Existance transcends all time and space
As if im competing in a race
Forget and forgive, thats what they say
fight and destroy, thats how they play
Hypocrites, pessimests, no longer missed
I run away, blindly, into the mist
No, yes, indecision, its a jest
forever with life being a test
I can't take this mess
I don't want to feel less
But I must they make me
Destroy the tree!
they shout at thee
No longer to be.
GONE! Dissappear
Into my head, I reappear
Forever to stay
locked in this way.....

When I wake up in the morning,
with a smile on my face,
I feel as if I can't get enough of the human race.
Such a beautiful sight, such a wonderful day,
I shout for joy with a hip, hip, horray!
As the day longs by the hour,
I watch the blossoming from flower to flower.
And as the night grows near,
I shall have no fear.
For I know that in the night,
everything will be quite all right.
Thus, my fantasy, so perfect and sincere,
shall draw to thine eye a perfect, little tear.
