Hopeless Romantic

I’m hopelessly shy
I’m too shy to talk
I can’t even say hi
I turn the other way and walk

I’m sitting here dreaming
Can’t get you out of my head
Thoughts of you are streaming
Why’s my face turning red?

When I hear your voice
I think angels rejoice
I could hear you talk for years
Your voice is music to my ears

I could watch you forever
I can’t get enough of the view
I’ve had enough of this weather
But never enough of you

I’m singing corny songs in my head
I think about all the words you’ve said
I think about your hair and beard and such
Now I’m thinking way too much

I wouldn’t know what to do
If you ever found out the truth
I’m writing poems about you
And you literally have no clue

One sided love never feels good
I always care more than I should
I’m hopelessly shy, will this ever end?
Will we ever be more than friends?

Same spirit, different bodies

What were the chances?
Even if just one percent,
I would redo the calculations,
Till my body turns to ashes.

The times we spent together—
Were the ones that made me fall in love with existance, with you.
Even when we're not on good terms,
If the universe gave me another chance,
I would.
However things aren't the same,
Like seasons,
The summer left and winter arrived—
The cold breeze was enough to make me realize.

Your smile—
Echoed in my brain like a prayer,
Rewriting the mistakes I did,
Making it easier to breathe.

Love of my life, you were.
If asked now—you are.
Same spirit different bodies—
We were nature's beauty,
Now ruined by human desire.

Fate turned her back on me—
And you, followed the light.

Valentine's day from the perspective of a hopeless romantic

Valentine is what they say to their valentines to describe,
The enchanting heart's whisper, how much they are special to them.
Nevertheless, I fell sick, to be exact, not in the ocean of my lover's love.
Astonishingly, the lover is what I mentioned is not real just an apocryphal to be enough.
Dwelling in my mind from the dawn to the sweet kisses of night,
He is nothing just fictional, a creature of my imagination, only to ignite.
The day of fourteenth February, in which people celebrate the cherish of love,
Where I prefer to live in my room, with my lover in my head, no any reason found to shrug.
Hoping him to convert into reality, to create the world with me, I imagined,
But the reality is a curse to us, I'd rather enter the world, I create, nothing to be tangled.

Hopeless Romantic III

I told the stars about you.
They watched me scream your name.
Just one more tear to cry.
Hold me for a moment without a word.

If you find me in the morgue, then I am sorry I done it.
You seemed to stop my breath
How do you do it, make me feel like you do.
Does it even matter?

Thats me in the corner.
I dont know who I'm supposed to be.
I can't find it, I been looking everywhere.
And shadows fill the night.

Heart so cold, you cut it right open
If you need anything, I'll be wasting away in the basement.
And the air is so still, suffocating.
I don't feel a thing anymore.

Hopeless Romantic II

I'm lost without you, you're my second half and now I'm stuck in relapse.
I cry when I think of you.
Going out of my mind these days.
Please don't hold it against me, I am just feeling empty.

You gotta let me know, should I stay or should I go?
To sever my connection with everything.
As I play roulette with a broken gun..
What is the difference if you ain't around?

Never seen this space between our hearts.
You seem so far away, like a distant memory.
And my world, it drifts apart from the one that remains..
I'm broken at the core, everday a little mor

Hopeless Romantic

You'll remember me
Here's to falling in love again.
Although I keep on falling..
This house don't feel like home.

Alone with you.
You're in my head like a lovesick criminal.
I know you're not here.
Can you tell me what hurts more, is it remember or is it forgetting?

Let me be the one who calls you baby all the time.
Or end up at the bottom to watch how it all ends.
But u can't love me like I want you to.
I'm a ghost in your eyes.

Loneliness has made me a hopeless romantic,
I don't have the youth or charm to offer you,
I don't have the great health or wealth to share with you,
I only have me, a hopeless romantic, to make you smile at me.

When you first smiled at me,
your greetings ignited the sparkles of love in me,
I saw the mirage of the love oasis in your eyes,
I daydreamt of the fountain of affection in your smiles.

When you first touched my hands,
I almost got electrocuted by the loving sensation,
When I squeezed your hands with mine,
the sweats of love were born in the warmth of our affection.

When we were together for a few moments,
my loneliness hid itself in some distant corner,
Those few hours of conversation, fun and games,
will remain in my thoughts for days to come.

When you bid farewell with a gentle hug,
I thought I lost the biggest treasure in the world,
Even if you will be gone for a while,
Till we meet, I will be daydreaming about you day and night.

Hopeless Romantic

Beneath the stars and galaxies
The moon, that’s split in half
I fall astray in the cosmos of you
Placing my heart once again
In everything that I once believed in
Hopelessly. Helplessly. Passionately
Relentless imaginings of a love so wide
A reminder of what I know to be soft and pure
Organic, yet electric
Dreams of a hopeless romantic

-hopeless Romantic-

I want to be a strong and gentle lover,

Who grows insatiably lovesick in sweet parting from the sticky sadness of summer.

I want to be a beautiful bluebird,

Who flew north faithful because of some splendid story he heard.

I want to be silly, a fool, daft, a puzzling predicament, absurd!

I want my life and my strife to be displayed and upstirred!

I want to be a better lover to the thoughts that slither through my skull.

But close tender my seeing eye to see my bitter being withstood.

My closed eye cannot pry how I might ever amount to much good.

I would love myself if I could,

But I'm not entirely sure I should.

There's only so much I could ever be,

I close my eyes and I can't see,

So cast my fickle eyes into the empty sea.

I wish I were a lover.

Hopeless Romantic

Loving again
for the millionth time
has broken you into
a million pieces,
each
and every time.

Play Doll

Loosing my sense of words over carefully chosen pictures that have been drawn from blood loss spilt.

The movement is causing my eyelids to flicker to the flame along with the beat of your heart.

Oh why you did it again,
Igniting a burnt out candle wick with your bright being.

I miss your breathe that trailed before your lonesome soothing voice at night.

Couldn’t help but gravitate towards the unshakable feelings of self loathly towards the deeds of the past.

I wantes to help care and heal your fondled cordis.

Why is it so wrong of me to be selfishly in love with a broken boy?

Wanting more than ever to hold you in my safe keeping arms.

Why do I miss someone that sees me no more than a play doll?

Hopelessly romantically lovesick.
Love you but is it really true?

Can I pull through,
Or am I only being melodramatic.

Hopelessly romantically daydreaming,
Love you but will it ever be true?

Can I pull through,
Or am I only far too hoping?

Hopelessly romantically lovesick.
Love you but will it always be true?

Can I pull through,
Or am I only fancifully in love with you?

meandering
along the hinterland
relentlessly I search
for innocent love
in the remoteness
of unspoilt territory…
a hopeless romantic
making inroads into
inaccessibility

Too long I limped along a lonely road, born into this Sahara desert of a life,
parched and hungry, face weathered and gaunt.
A deaf, dumb, and blind man, drawn and quartered by her knife,
back tarred and feathered by a vulture's taunt.

I searched the wide world for your wonderful smile,
tired soul devoid of that whole, found wanting of the other half.
Try to find the right words, after each lost and lonely mile,
my sorrows washed away by that sweet, infectious laugh.

Like hopeless romantic's lot, who climbed out of a dark place,
beyond my wildest dreams, I finally found you.
Yet daft was I to hear not., your prayer for love's embrace..
as two hearts lifted in love were bound to.

When last moon fades, no more hopeless romantics left,
and strings of sanguine hearts untwine.
I will hold on to memory's tender touch yet,
and all the warm days when you were mine.
