Through the silence, through the fears;
Quiet my heart, my mind make still,
Help me listen for Your will.
Like Samuel standing, waiting there,
Ready to hear Your voice in prayer,
When distractions fill my day,
Clear my heart and lead the way.
Create in me a heart made new,
A heart that seeks to follow You;
When You call, let me not flee—
Give me courage to faithfully be
Your willing servant, strong and true,
Ready, Lord, to follow You.
Teach me, Lord, to love and care,
To see Your image everywhere;
To serve with joy, to bless and give,
To shine Your light in how I live.
Let me not speak of love alone,
But make Your love through me be shown;
Let kindness guide the path I take,
Let every choice Your heart awake.
Though fear may rise and trials start,
Give me Samuel’s faithful heart;
Let my life proclaim Your goodness, too—
A living witness, Lord, for You.
So when You call, my answer be:
“Speak, Lord, Thy servant is listening—send me!

her aged hands smoothed the velveteen cloth
a floatie travelled across the upper corner of her right eye
was spirit here already?
She peered into her crystal ball, quieting herself
messages floated into her mind
she knew her client would be connected with ancestors
if he was not clairvoyant, he would be clairaudient or clairsentient
the seasoned soothsayer picked up her tarot deck
she began laying the cards down in a precise order
she flipped the cards and read the message
pick up the runes too, a voice said
being clairaudient, clairsentient and clairvoyant,
of course she followed spirit’s directions

Who is an Amma slam?
One who Gives a Damn,

As your tears flow through the windows of your own soul, oh grieving heart,
Know always these are only but the gentlest of water droplets
Always evaporating upwards towards the Heavens.
I carved a path for the spiders
In hopes that a friend will come by
Or that a friend will stay.
For i am no longer accompanied by my old pals
As their days move up the branch to see the sky better
My days slip back down the trunk
Like a slug on a rainy day.
My normal necessities evolved my life into a bore Cities, trains, cafes, the forest
All invite me to play but i am tired
After a no-work day.
Those numbered days in my brain lead me to a confusing conclusion;
Is it until i meet a new friend or an old friend based on illusions?
Everybody keeps crying
But nobody wants to
Hear my cries
The wind hears many secrets
As he blows at his election.
Only a hearer at best -
He mulls them over and again
But doesn’t repeat or think aloud
For there are too many to recount.
The wind also has many lovers -
Appreciating the trees -
Caressing the flowers
And cooling warm cheeks
But preferring to roam -
Blows away to a place unknown.
If you couldn't hear me speak
Yet I will still converse I would speak
Because Jesus my Lord my God hears me always
And when I speak
So yet even in the still
And yet even in the quiet
My God hears all...

Never imagine
time that doesn't listen to you
will hear you,
And don't get surprised
when it puts hurdles before you,
as its aim is not
to make you happy
but just
to measure your patience
as well as power of endurance,
and to see your
adaptation,
observation,
concentration,
preparation,
regulation,
organisation,
communication,
and
as a result of all these,
to teach
all you need is only
your will,
your heart
your mind
as well as
two parts of your body
at the end of your arms
in order to jump
over the hurdles,
and to help you learn,
most of them aren't heavy burdens
Within our hearts' ear
Spoken positive energy
Our Creator knows thee
Happiness throughout our land
Heavenly Father held out his hands
Gloria
Hallelujah
Jesus Christ's love we were given
Our Lord King has risen
A spiritual call
Jehovah blessed us all
Our Lord summoned the rain
Blessing this change
Increasing words of peace
Our Holy Father speaks
