A windswept fall leaves a rake's prongs grounded free,
obliged Sapphire's realm, tinged with a seasoned spree,
blissfully fathoms the governed spirits of caromed eyes,
of gathered acquaintances rings about you as time flies,
queries the mobile a stance, a glance at echoes of lights,
as a soloist envy all-eyes dancing that September ignites.

Premium Member DAILY GRATITUDE GRANDAD'S ADVICE

I am grateful for my Granddad…
Who gave me some of the best advice I’ve ever had:

Waiting around for someone else to make you happy
is the best way to be sad.

Premium Member When happiness settles in my chest like a gentle sunbeam

When happiness settles in my chest like a gentle sunbeam,
I become a circle rolling lazily on the green field of grass,
I hit a tree standing in my way, then turn back from its shadow,
Seeking the light, rolling away from the shadow and leaves.
When sadness wraps my skin like a veil of cold, dense fog,
I transform into an ellipse, my thoughts stretching far from the center,
I struggle to return completely, to constrict myself into a circle again,
In perfect balance, where my desires meet once more.
Then self-doubt sets its throne in my soul like a heavy cloud,
And I become a triangle, a Bermuda Triangle,
Attracting every ship of optimism, lost in my mystery,
A tangled labyrinth of my worth, an endless and ancient enigma.
Then the greed for perfection unleashes from my depths,
Shaping me into a square, symmetrical, each corner carefully aligned,
I carry myself upright, at perfect angles, seeking that ideal form,
I am less a changing human and more pleasing shapes to the eye.
I am a story of lines and curves, a dance of shapes and shadows,
Always searching to find myself between eternal corners and rounds.

Fall is coming soon

Leaves are falling down
Pumpkins will be ripening
Fall is coming now

Premium Member Our Claim To Fame

At death’s door we close our eyes on living.
Good we’ve done is our only claim to fame.
Lives we’ve helped to better through our giving,
are the heavenly fortitudes to name.

Questions asked regarding human treatment,
allow the soul to stand before their God.
Attesting acts of kindness were so frequent,
for just loving their brother wasn’t hard.

Yet, even in our passing hour we ponder,
Have I done anything of which I’m shame?
Fearful of approaching unknown yonder.
Are there enough good-deeds which I can claim?

Joys we brought others are our claims to fame.
“God, I left them smiling and not in pain.”

Premium Member Time's Happiness Rhyme

    O, Happy Day!
        Now just a minute here
A day is a Biblical construct of time

        Attribute its ‘happiness’
            ~ to old-fashioned rhyme

Letting Go

I No longer look for any contact
Your memory is fading like the past
Dreams we shared once alive
Dreams now give possibilities
Values shape our soul endlessly
Honor yourself and your family and open totally
Dancing with myself is like singing in the rain
Future I welcome with excitement
Fear is exempt
Letting go has saved me
Dreams are my right you see

The Sword of Stars pierces the veil,
To expose the universe to a holy female.
She will bring peace throughout the lands.
The shroud will lift and there will be a man,
Who walks alone all dressed in black.
The sun on his back is a chasing fireball,
And his only escape is in her mind,
If he can find and see through her eyes.
The two will meet in a moment of perfection.
The world will unite beneath the lights of Heaven,
Which reign down upon the throng of singers,
Who sing their songs to the unbelievers,
Who shall be convinced by a story of epiphanies,
That light up life like a rain of sunbeams,
Blinding the darkness,
Making all unseen to be seen,
Creating meaning,
Dreamers dreaming,
Silence the screaming,
For only joy can reign this day.
Glory, Glory, etun atay.

Love is dancing

Love dances in our eyes,
Can come in any shape or size,
Love we mortals personify,
Starts with twinkle in our eye,
Love is not only for the young,
Wrinkly lovers laugh for fun,
Love is for near and far,
Fur, fin, feather, Love's the star,
Love is part of adaptation,
Love for God wants faith in action,
Love can bloom or fade away,
Brief regret, on with today,
Love's torch can light our way,
Love dancing leads each day,
Love is part of our human zen,
More love needed in our global den.

Premium Member DAILY GRATITUDE GENES OF AN OPTIMIST

I am grateful for having the genes of an optimist…
and all the joy they bring…
making every day I wake up
feel like the very first day of Spring

Premium Member She Knows Me

Yes, she knows me, she’s known me from the start
Soulmates throughout eternity, she knows me in her heart

She knows the words my heart would say
And knows the thoughts I think each day

She sees my smile and knows its cause
And feels my love without a pause

She knows the joy that we feel
When once again we’ve topped a hill

And all the love when we embrace
When we have finished a 5K race

She knows I love her for her mind
Unique, intelligent, the creative kind

I promised a life of love and adventure
But that first kiss of her hand was the heart-melding clincher

More than a soft toy

More than a soft toy,
Is a childhood friend of mine,
He's been here for ten years,
Maybe even eleven,
Why do I feel such connection,
Towards you?

You've been in most of my memories,
Grown beside me,
Is that the reason why?

When i sang a song for the first time,
Or when you consoled me in the darkest nights,
Is it because, i shared my everything with you,
Even my childhood and heart?

Oh my dear lovely jaguar,
I still remember when I hugged you while sleeping,
On the day I got you when I was five,
I just want you to know,
I still do this now.

You're my snuggling partner,
My first friend,
And my whole childhood,
My dear friend.

Premium Member Your ability

I talked to you tonight
And even over the phone
You force it all to disappear
And it becomes us all alone

No other people or problems
Nothing but us exist then
Floating on a cloud with you
Earth feels as if its heaven

How is it you're able to do this
To me it's fully a mystery
There's nothing but your love
In life that can sustain me

Happiness

When your happy nothing stops you from doing anything
When your sad a glimpse of darkness comes over you like a cloud
Then you pick yourself up and the darkness subsides
And the sun shines with a glimmer of hope
