Below the gray blah canopy
Suffering from bad attitude
and seasonal psychosis
The human race sprints
No finish line required
and Everyone wins gold
Music blaring
Bikini tops daring
Exposed guts not caring
Rooftop gogo dancer staring
At me
Ok, maybe that's vice versa
Its a poolside, post-graduate MTV Spring Break
Some of us much more "post" than others
The glaze and haze of Vegas
Sprawling in the manner built for Caesar
Decadence is the Neighborhood Watch
Where every citizen is
On patrol
On Patron
All far gone
Judgment
By them or ourselves
Left town for lent
Or excommunicated at the stake
Where loungers and readers
And tricksters and treaters
are one
Tighter than conjoined twins
playing with crazy glue in Texas heat
And the ways that used to be
And the ways we wish there were
And the ways we can rent by glass
Are included in the price of admission
Guilt not included
As everyone drops their towels
Hoping for someone to pick them up.

Summer time blue funk
Can't stand all this humid stuff
I have had enough
Car's like an oven
Air-conditioner's working
But the heat is winning
Sweat just pours off me
Clothes and sand stick to bodies
Go to a nude beach
There it's no torture
To frolic in the water
And to "hang" out there...
If you want to find out what it's all about,
Go to East End, where the toughs hang out;
Where street-smart girls, their skirts unfurled-
Through the wicked streets whirl.
Nights down there-always stark,
Hipcats smiling in the dark;
And the sun shines down through all the days-
Down on wayward ways!
Dead flowers lie in the street,
As people run from the heat.
Rose tattoo and butterfly;
Ruby lips; mascara eye.
Motorcycles in the mist,
Flashing lights; clenched fist;
They move as if in a craze,
Through the city's maze.
In the streets and alleyways, they clash,
Seasons change with a splash,
But, warriors ever, ever advance-
Though they haven't a chance!
If you want to find out what it's all about,
Go to East End, where the toughs hang out;
In leather pant, and faded jean-
It's noplace, if you get what I mean.
Get it off your chest and other various parts;
Brains, Minds, imagination and huge hearts;
Open wide,
From inside,
Start sharpening tool as well as your smarts.
Do you like letting it all hang out,
And always about it start to shout;
Will like luster,
Of a brain buster;
With sick Trump have another bout.

Yesterday was Costco visitation day and
also having breakfast at IHOP where we
always stop and then in will have to bop.
Boobs are usually found hanging out in pairs
Seeing one without the other is really quite rare
They're kinda quirky
Brown noses so perky
Hanging so proudly smelling the fresh air
L-et it all hang out,
O-ne chance to be sincere;
L-et the false happiness turn
I-nto a real drop of
T-ear.
R-eveal your true feelings,
O-ne opportunity to be honest;
D-ay thirty in sunny May,
R-esolve the emotional test.
I-nside and out say it clear,
G-rief and sadness you show;
U-nder untrue appearance,
E-vade hiding fear of nothing or
Z-ero.
D-eny not the exact score,
U-sing your facial expression;
L-et the words voice out,
P-lacing you in right position.
I-n your mind, heart and soul,
N-ever hesitate nor doubt;
A-ct without dissimulation, just let it all hang out.
Boobs are usually found hanging out in pairs
Seeing one without the other is really quite rare
They're kinda quirky
Brown noses so perky
Hanging so proudly smelling the fresh air
Exhausted I am, filling boxes and stuff
Moving day's coming quite soon enough
It's happening again
Too often my friends
Love to settle down, just hang out in the buff
