My Turkish Sufi friend, proud of his faith, invited me to the sacred ritual of the Whirling Dervishes. The musicians wore long black cloaks and high felt hats, representing the grave and the tombstone.
The Dervishes enter, discarding their black cloaks, accompanied by a reed pipe, they start to turn.
As I watched the dancers circle continuously
in costume of white robes and conical hat
arms outstretched towards heaven
whirling round like planets orbiting the sun
becoming closer to God and inner truth
connected by physical meditation
I wondered
if God will hear my prayers
when I only kneel to pray
Trouble and Truth
So many words begin with ‘tr’.
So many ‘trs’ describe trouble.
‘Transgression’ and ‘Trauma’
‘Treachery’ and ‘Trap’.
The list’s almost endless.
‘Treason’ and ‘Trash’.
Endless maybe. Never hopeless!
Another ‘Tr’ appears!
Standing way above all others,
It’s Truth, precious Truth.
Truth shining in brilliance
In Jesus, my Lord.
He alone is the Truth
He can free us from troubles.
He alone is the Truth
Only He can redeem us from sin.
Nature
Is a gift
Of God
Admire it
Keenly
Be thankful
Happy
Feel it
Contented
Everyone
Should be
Delighted
For blessings
Of God
As I do
They want to occupy us, take control, make us be on our knees, and kick us while we are down.
More and more, we hear and see, many that want to dominate and make us slaves, make us pay, make us slaves, make us weak and make us cry.
We want to live in peace, to love, to walk in peace, to pray and live happily.
They want to end our lives, to make us slaves, to make us cry, they want to change our ways, to make us live under their ways.
We want to live in peace, to love, to walk in peace, to pray and live happily.
We ask God to clear any and all that want to harm us, to take away all the negative force that surrounds us and tries to make us live under occupation.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.
Both preacher and scientist
Persuades whose name to pray
Dwells in each air molecule
Blown through our breathed in day.
We lift prayers, like the sun, rising with positive thoughts and happy hearts.
We ask God to protect us in all our steps today, and that we will use all our actions to make our day bright with light and love all day.
We ask God to clear our path to remove anything negative that tries to block our path.
Lifting prayer to God, today and always.
Wait for the Lord, all you His people;
why do you hasten so?
Be like a wise farmer who tends to his crop,
or the birds of the air
who search for nourishment.
For what would be their profit?
If not the racing of their hearts,
bringing them to their end.
So trust in Him,
like the blind trusting their cane
to guide their steps.
silence layers silence
till we disappear
with lower mind at rest
we sense God’s presence near
Behold, we are God's children
All who believe in the risen Christ
can truly say with all their heart
trusting in the Lord Jesus in no small part
This Jesus is our Lord and Saviour
having taken our sins on Calvary's cross
dying the death as our Perfect sacrifice
so our souls are saved, never our loss
In heaven one day we will be made anew
that has not yet appeared, what that'll be
but God promises to bring this about
on that glorious day, this we will see
When Jesus appears, we shall be like Him
for our eyes will see Him, our great King
in His glory and majesty will be displayed
what a moment this indeed will bring
Behold, we are God's children now
this we know the Scriptures declare
we have this on His authority alone
for God has us in His constant care
Evil you are, you with all your lack, lack of love, lack of truth, lack of forgiveness.
Evil you are that sit in lies, sits in hate, sit with the ones that are fake.
You pretend to love us, pretend to care, pretend that all is as it appears.
Like a cloud that is in the sky, you change, you move, you cause storms to pour out of the sky.
Evil was the day that you were needed to speak the truth, but you hide under the lies and neglected the truth, you feared loosing money, loosing a worldly position, loosing a person that was not even a friend.
Evil comes in many forms, it lurks, it waits, it plots, to kill us all, like God explained to us, we are moving through this time that looks like life.
Life is time and space that each of us create with our love and hate, so choose love, choose forgiveness, choose the path that makes us all live in a place of happiness, choose a place that we can all live in a place that we can build happiness.

Love is breath, it makes us feel alive, it gives us all the joy that makes us want to cry.
Love is you, all the little things you do, you lift me high and make all my moments feel so clear and high.
Loving you is so true, true love that never makes me blue, you make all of me feel good.
Love, you are like the breath of life, each day we have gives us more love that fills the air.
Loving you is so true, true love that never makes me blue, you make all of me feel good.
Love is God, for true love is something we feel and breathe with our true love.
May we live each day with love breath, and love, and peace, all the days of our lives.

Living life and faith,
walking and talking with God,
beats running through life:
Running through life, we lose much;
Walking with God, we gain much.

My Lord
Why do I feel like You have abandoned
Me why do I feel like You don’t come aboard
When I ask to be pardoned
Do the sins I commit
Make You turn Your back
On me will I ever meet
The standard You set even when I lack
The ability to do so I pray I fast I sin
Just like anyone with flaws
Just like anyone who wants to win
You over and obey all Your laws
Without You my Lord You know there’s no life
And I can’t even for a sec a day survive
When I come to the end of my journey, and they roll me out on that cold, hard, gurney,
Just remember, I’m not there, for Jesus met me in the air.
He gave me a robe of white to wear.
But then I saw a book open to the letter P and Jesus said, come look and see.
I wasn’t worried because I believe that Jesus Christ died for me.
But oh no to my surprise, I couldn’t find my name inside.
He laughed, and then he said to me, that’s not the book of Life you see, it’s the book of those who’ve rejected me.
Now I’m not allowed to tell you who, and no, we don’t come back as ghosts to warn you.
But time is short, so get it right, I hope it’s not your time tonight!
