That song sounds so good,
Go back to the beginning,
Reminisce moments of childhood
All while rhythymically dancing.
That story sounds so good,
Go back to the beginning,
Retell how you done all you could
All while laughing while crying.
That speech sounds so good,
Go back to the beginning,
Reenact every word you should
All while proudly standing.
That story sounded so good,
Go back to the beginning,
Recollect all the ways you would
Once again relive everything.

If you could go back, even just once
Would you fall for a face or feel for a heart?
Would you still ignore that quiet voice inside
Or would you trust it this time & let it guide?
Would you laugh a little more, cry a little less
Take the messy road, stop the guess?
Would you stop chasing perfect, slow down and see
That love isn’t always what it seems to be?
If life’s just one shot, no pause or repeat
Would you dance in the rain, not just stay on your feet?
Would you say the words you always held back
And carry less weight in that old pack?
We don’t get to rewind, only learn as we go
But still, I wonder… if you could, would you?

She felt imprisoned, chained and sad
Her marriage was awful, truly bad
He is a meanie, a real cad
Go back home said her annoyed dad
This was her eighth husband, this guy Chad
He had been hand-chosen by her dad
He knew she was the problem, she was bad.
He felt truly sorry for his employee, Chad

I wanna go back to Michigan
so I catch me some really good fish again.
The fish from any other U.S. lake
tend to give me such a bellyache,
that I can't wait to have a Michigan fish on my dish again.

Open blue sky and fresh flowers around,
Vibrant but enthralling that surround,
Unchained, untied, nothing to bother,
Much leisure and a long time to ponder.
There are no paths to go back.
Go back to the springtime of life.
Hold on tight to encounter many more in life.
Don't take the chance to lose your track.
No wonder! It feels like giving up the charge.
Responsibility and liability are undetachable.
Walk bravely, no matter how kind or harsh,
Head up and smile, as it is inevitable.

If only time could turn around,
To days where love, like rivers, found,
The laughter shared in sunlit haze,
Where hearts would dance in joy's embrace.
If only I could grasp once more,
The fleeting moments we adore,
To steal a glance, to hold you near,
And quiet all the creeping fear.
I'd turn the hands of time in flight,
To bask in warmth of sweet delight,
No shadows of regret to trace,
Just memories in a warm embrace.
Yet time, it flows; it won't relent,
And leaves behind what we lament,
But still, in dreams, you linger near,
In whispers soft, I hold you dear.
If only time could go back still,
I'd weave our hopes with iron will;
In every heartbeat, love would grow,
Together bound, forever flow

Let’s go back to that.
Telling stories,
teaching each other
how to play a guitar,
showing tricks
and playing games.
Sleepovers,
makeovers,
dancing and baking.
Building forts,
picking flowers.
Having power outages
and bringing out candles.
Using flashlights just for fun.
Let's go back to that.
To taking time.

robin family is annoyed at Spokane’s rainy weather
They get a yellow umbrella and stay together
Let’s go back to the Midwest says the father, loud.
Yes! The wife agrees, looking at a new storm cloud.
They huddle together, bracing their feathers in the wind.
Mommy, Daddy, Zin and her twin brother, Finn.
At the end of the storm, they decide to stay.
Their nest is marvelous with cushy places to lay.

No, no, no,
Can’t go back.
No do over, no,
Oh, I want to go back.
A past moment in time
Exists only in my mind.
It hurts to know
I can never go back, no.
If I could try again,
Oh, what could have been,
Now gone with the wind,
But I’m still here.
Now going on from here
On the road to who knows where.
Roll on, the past is gone,
Can’t keep looking back.
Got to keep going on,
Remembering back then,
But left it all behind.
Forgetting then, got to carry on.
Can’t turn back
The hands of time
What was, was meant to be.
Can’t go back.

Go back home Hilda said to her farm pets, especially you, Duck.
They all stopped and stared. Now you’ve done it said Luck.
He was the rooster who was always bossed around by his wife.
You’re turning back too she said, if you want a good life.
Hilda gave a wave to the wives of her waddling pets.
She knew they would take care of it, so she’d have no frets.
The rooster made a mistake and took another foot in her direction.
You’d best turn around now, his wife crowed without much affection.

If I could go back in time,
I wouldn't really change anything.
Changing things would be a crime,
perfection, that's how I'd describe everything.
I hate how we ended,
but I love that we happened.
I hate that you're not a part of my life anymore,
but I love that when you were, you made me soar.
I miss hearing about your days,
and the happiness in your moonlit eyes.
Your smile was like the suns rays,
if I told you I wasn't in love, it'd be all lies.
You're still the first person on my mind,
when I have exciting news.
Any reason to exchange words I'll find,
conversing with you I'd never refuse.
Our days together as a paradigm,
I hope it's not just me reminiscing.
If I could go back in time,
I wouldn't really change anything.

Let's go back
By Michelle Morris
04/03/2023
Let's go back to the beginning
Before it all went wrong
Stop the mistakes in their tracks
And never hurt each other again
Let's go back to what was working
To the fun and magical happiness
The good we created in our hearts
Never a sad day to ruin the bliss

If I could go back,
I would follow my dream.
I would take my time
And float downstream.
I could make it right
When I was wrong.
Where I was weak,
I could be strong.
The times I told a lie,
I would tell the truth.
I would give better
Advice to our youth.
I could choose love,
Instead of hate.
I could start over,
With a clean slate.
I would save more,
Spend less.
Where I did wrong,
I would confess.
I would face my
Fears.
I would dry my
Tears.
I could steer clear
Of the bad guys.
I could see the
Blessing in disguise.
I would be more
Forgiving.
I could really
Start living.
I would hold
My temper.
I would find
My center.
If I could go back,
I would treat life better.
I could avoid,
That day that I met her.

If I could go back,
Change the past.
I would slow down,
Not go so fast.
I would pay attention
To the older crowd.
I get why, they're
Cocky and proud.
I would do better
In school.
I would play less
Of the fool.
I would adjust,
My attitude.
I would show
More gratitude.
I would speak
less.
I would prepare,
For the test.
I would smile
A lot more.
I no longer would
Keep score.
I would spend more
Time with family.
I would take better care
of my anatomy.
I would say no can do,
To the drugs.
I would give
Longer hugs.
I would have no
Expectations.
I would have quiet
Conversations.
I would be more flexible,
Less bent out of shape.
I would always have
A plan of escape.
I would cry less,
I would laugh more.
I would knock on
The closed door.
I would never
Judge another.
I would be a
Better mother.
IF I COULD GO BACK…
