IF YOU COULD GO BACK

If you could go back, even just once Would you fall for a face or feel for a heart? Would you still ignore that quiet voice inside Or would you trust it this time & let it guide? Would you laugh a little more, cry a little less Take the messy road, stop the guess? Would you stop chasing perfect, slow down and see That love isn’t always what it seems to be? If life’s just one shot, no pause or repeat Would you dance in the rain, not just stay on your feet? Would you say the words you always held back And carry less weight in that old pack? We don’t get to rewind, only learn as we go But still, I wonder… if you could, would you?
