A storm in a teacup,
whirling silvery clouds;
Caffeine is cuddling you;
It’s so hard to deny
that sky devoid of blue;
A storm in a teacup,
howling turbid beauty;
Gloomiest glitter drops
lick at a murky spoon;
The stirring never stops;
A storm in a teacup
sweetened a little bit;
Lit up smile’s peeking out;
Something of a striptease,
steered by the slightest pout;
A storm in a teacup,
everyday is my time;
Focusing blinking eyes
that tall hill now lies flat;
This fight is paradise.

"Flowers, the emblems of beauty and fragrance proudly assert that loveliness can catch every eye and brighten even the gloomiest heart" ~ By Poet
look at these white blossoms,
attired in snow white velvety frocks,
unassuming and elegant
under the canopy of the starlit sky.
though tiny in size,
en masse they exude a hypnotic charm.
birthed in the stillness of night,
they proclaim their presence,
in dazzling white.
decked by dewy beads,
they dance freely unnoticed.
some perfume the air
with exotic scent,
permeating the nightly breeze.
during day, they wait to be garlanded,
by the amber beams of the sun,
longing to be hugged and kissed
by the amorous butterflies.
these simple beauties are the silent partakers,
of life’s most beautiful romance!

Feeling tired and walking slowly humming,
I reach home to get a restful night; it's dawn,
it's the gloomiest twilight in the smallest town
cats are startled by me and start running!
I could crash into the bed and dream away,
not eat anything and fall asleep quietly;
is it my habit, I call rite, to forget to pray
not have an angel on my side when I lay
down and be taken into another distant world?
Who's my priority: adored sleep or the Lord?
Don't we depend on merciful God,
on everything we stumble upon
within the limits of persuasion?
Don't we depend on merciful God
and owe Him the wonderful life we breathe?
A wreath of laurel is not given to an elite...
if faith is not instilled in him from childhood,
humble people feel it more, it's a tale of old!
We depend on God as the creatures
that roam around and try to survive;
the more intelligent one is, the greater
is the perception of real things to cherish...
from a stunning discovery to a realistic wish!
Time is no keeper, memory is called brain;
one speeds away to end the end the day,
the other preserves everything in a bubble...
until we bust it and begin our race again!

Dissipating drowsiness
In the elmwood of the mind
Eras and realities collide
Having body crawl
In the gloomiest of night hazy drizzle.
Dullness seeps in
Across increasing veins
As faraway as the sunshine
Switches to a slower pace
Laughter from a bygone era
Cuts and scrapes
Leaving me breathless.
The resolve is unwavering
And sustains the ultimate breath
Every day in bitter shadows
In pursuit of Eden insight
My cornea has been burned.

Hope is a bird
Soaring through the air
Perched on the tree of life
Cutting through the clouds;
Of darkness and despair
Hope is an ant
A little tiny thing
But able to carry lots of weight;
Never stopping for disappointment;
Big in a different way
Hope is a little plant
Growing between the cracks of life
Shooting up to the sun
Sprouting in the gloomiest of places,
A tiny flicker of green
That grows into a tree
Hope is a mother
A sign of care and love;
Bringing new joy to the world;
Comfort during tough times
A bringer of a new start
Hope is a flicker of light
A matchstick in the darkness
A fire in a cold, black, cave;
Lighting up and brightening,
The pathway, to happiness

oh, black butterfly...
you're the epitome of grace in air.
poetry in constant motion;
how gracefully captivating!
floating about a peaceful spring meadow
you couldn't be more carefree.
oh, black butterfly...
you brighten up the gloomiest of days!
no matter where you show up,
all are glad that you came.
you're quite a sight to behold!
you bring time to a standstill.
oh, black butterfly...
how delightfully erratic you flutter
from one flower to the next;
hovering above them before alighting.
you're as beautiful as you are fragile.
please, do pay a visit to my garden!

when clouds seem at their gloomiest
and your spirits are down and under
let me be the one; the one
to bring back the smile to your face
and the serenity to your heart
i'll do my best to put that ray of sunshine
in your morning coffee cup
and fill your coffers with tons of tokens
of dazzling hope for all the joy to come

Doubt clouds my thoughts
I don’t see any way out of the darkness
The shadows seem so grim, so unpardonable
Filling my heart with disillusionment and dread
I don’t know where to turn until my prayer
Pleads with Him to give me the faith I need
To listen to His word, His light…
Erasing the darkest doubt
His grace penetrates my spirit
Lingering on my faith and my feelings
That He is always with me, sheltering me
Directing me and selecting me for the peace
That surpasses all understanding, the serenity
That lifts my fears, wipes away every tear
And breaks apart the gloomiest disbelief
Gentling all my wildest fears, assuring me…
Where there is love, grace overflows spirits
Listen to His still, small voice
And know that yes, you have a choice
Simply BELIEVE and receive His grace and mercy
Know that this love, His love…
Abides and it is worth all your faith
The belief that brings you a strength
That lifts your soul, inspires your hope
Lets you know that He really is…
The way, the truth and the life
He is the One who erases all doubt!

Without a doubt, He will bring you out of the dark

The gloomiest story bore me back to those days.
Profound despair overtook me as I listened endlessly.
As I sank, you asked to heed my moving words in agony.
This time, it's for someone else's benefit, not mine.
To be correctly cured and to agnize how much you listen.
I'm merely hoping and praying for a desirable outcome.
My reckless burning bled as much as visible emotion.
I'm absurdly begging for another chance of motion.

Eilidh, Oh radiant one as your name imparts
You left too soon for our broken hearts
We miss your smile and impish ways
And how you brightened up the gloomiest days
Loved child of God in Heaven reposes
In gardens of lilacs and the sweet scent of roses
Playing with others as you never could here
Flying among the stars without ever a care
Waiting so patiently for those you love
Knowing they’ll be there soon enough
So keep the faith down here on earth
We never die, just transit this birth
Into God’s realm of Peace and Love

I try to paint
with a shock I realize it is giving me no thrill
No joy; for the first time in six years
I return to the middle bedroom
darkest, gloomiest room in the house
turn on my electric blanket and go to sleep
wake up wondering if it is morning or night? Does it matter?
I am on strong meds; they keep me loopy.
Benadryl is a killer, keeping me sleepy, in perpetual lah-lah land.
Pink dots are parading up and down my arms and legs
I am scratching my torso until she bleeds
I look like a pink polka dotted Kewpie doll.
An angry pink polka dotted Kewpie doll
Thanks to yesterday’s prescription which I was allergic to.
Being sick is infuriating.
I am enraged.
Angry that it is me.

Sunny, funny, sweet and precious one,
Utter happiness you bring to me.
Never far from you, I ever want to be
Flourishing with you as you dance beneath the sun,
Lingering within the glow which is your love!
On your dark and dulcet eyes I gaze and gaze,
Wishing that your sunshine could forever stay.
Even should there come the gloomiest of days,
Radiate your loving warmth as with delight you sway.

could make the gloomiest face smile
Doesn't it make you go "Awww"?
