I imagine there is no greater pain for a parent than the loss of a child. But, for these parents, who so unselishly donated her organs so others may live, there are no words.
Eilidh, Oh radiant one as your name imparts
You left too soon for our broken hearts
We miss your smile and impish ways
And how you brightened up the gloomiest days
Loved child of God in Heaven reposes
In gardens of lilacs and the sweet scent of roses
Playing with others as you never could here
Flying among the stars without ever a care
Waiting so patiently for those you love
Knowing they’ll be there soon enough
So keep the faith down here on earth
We never die, just transit this birth
Into God’s realm of Peace and Love
