Let Me Be the One

when clouds seem at their gloomiest
and your spirits are down and under
let me be the one; the one
to bring back the smile to your face
and the serenity to your heart

i'll do my best to put that ray of sunshine
in your morning coffee cup
and fill your coffers with tons of tokens
of dazzling hope for all the joy to come
