A Glimpse
Can a small glimpse of Jesus
Make a difference for my life?
Can a small glimpse of Jesus
Set me free from lots of strife?
When uncertainty surrounds me
Can a glimpse of Jesus bring hope?
When I feel trapped and so useless
Can a small glimpse of Jesus help me cope?
But where can a glimpse appear?
Where should I look, or what should I do
To get a small vision of Jesus my Lord?
Turn to the Scripture! He’s always right there.
Just open at random, care not about where.
You might be surprised at the words that are there.
For truth is sure placed all exact in your sight.
A small glimpse of Jesus transforming your life!
Everything has a soul; maybe it’s true,
The walls have ears,
do objects have eyes too?
I look at them and they at me,
displaying wonders, they’ve seen of you.
Captured like a moment in time,
these things store a glimpse of you.
I touch the table and see your figure,
Scribbling into a paper with furrowed brows.
I lay on the bed and you smile so bright,
cuddling, kissing, discussing knows and hows.
I open the cupboard and there’s your face,
Unsure of what to wear tomorrow.
I close the windows and feel your hands,
That hold me oh so tightly, that’s where I belong.
I look into the mirror and you look back,
A vision forever etched in my mind.
I step inside the room,
seeing you everywhere yet nowhere in a daze.
I walk through the door in a rush,
Only to see you gone.
Like poets waiting for a subject with tears in their eyes,
I stand there silently, all tattered and torn.
Yours poetically,
v.s
A glimpse of her is enough
To make people startled
In glimpse of world, tough
She is but soft curled
A glimpse of her is just
Unexplained by today’s poets
Very much allergic to dust
In glimpse its cleared and opens gates
Of the school for them to learn
Which makes people’s fate turn.
With the heaviness
of empty hearts,
we walk,
and in the darkness,
a hand finds ours...
Time does not interfere,
and the world pauses
to let a bright thing
pass through...
and we are given
a glimpse of heaven.
Beyond the deep of my imagination
And from anguish of soul,
This love of mine knows no boundary
Endowed emotion as whole.
Within my heart lies a sea of Amity
Full of devotion, calm and bright,
Gaze of mine remains bound to you
Your glimpse of joy fuels its light.
saw an Angela—heaven softly dressed,
A dream that stepped from my heart’s quiet chest.
Her beauty lingered like dawn’s first light,
A vision that turned my dark into bright.
My heart fell helpless the moment she came,
Whispering softly her beautiful name.
A longing awakened, gentle yet true,
A wish in my soul just to be close to you.
Her voice—like music the angels might sing,
A tender echo that makes my heart cling.
Each word she spoke still dances in me,
Like waves that refuse to let the shore be.
Oh, how I crave just one more sight,
To see her again in golden light.
But all I hold are memories rare,
A fragile picture beyond repair.
That moment of peace she gave my heart,
Now aches like a world pulled apart.
For in her presence, I felt complete—
Now love lingers… in every heartbeat.
Broken is the heart
that sought shelter in thine hands.
I mistook beauty for loyalty,
and gratitude for love.
What hurts most—
I glimpsed a future in us.
Can I say I gave it my all?
Did it ever feel enough?
Far enough to notice,
close enough to linger…

God shed no tears,
He rejoiced at your arrival.
If only you could have seen
The despair and agony
Your leaving left behind.
They say the departed
Turn into stars.
I believed it too...
Until I searched the heavens
And found no trace of you.
Surely, God has shaped
A universe of peace for you,
Among souls of radiant grace,
Where serenity forever dwells.
from miles and miles
waves of many places
bring in foamy gifts
Just a glimmer
Of a glimpse
In a mirror
While walking (if you could call it that)
Inside a store
And shopping
An old, bent, wrinkled woman
I search the heavens for a trace of you,
Only to find your shadow in the lunar glow.
Its silver gaze stirs memories anew,
A lantern lit for hearts, only those longing...know.
Though oceans swell and continents divide,
Time has sealed the pathways we once knew,
Yet the moon still carries whispers to my side—
Distance between us is but a glimpse of the moon.
It shines for both, though miles apart we stand,
A bridge of light no darkness can erase.
I reach for you with memory’s gentle hand,
And touch your soul within that glowing face.
So long as moonlight crowns the endless skies,
Our love endures, where death itself denies.
when we allow time to stop, a glimpse of eternity will appear.
We see our kids or grandkids
In our home’s familiar setting
Or at gatherings of kith and kin
Within that safety netting.
Yet when somehow there’s a glimpse
Beyond where we’re supposed to go,
We might be surprised to find
A person we don’t really know.
Perhaps in a performance
In the arts or in a sport,
A confidence might sparkle
Which will find us caught up short.
It is fascinating watching
As that talent is unfurled
And we witness as our loved ones
Make their way out in the world.
Now, not everybody gets the chance
To catch this in the works.
I am lucky, seeing one of
Watching children’s greatest perks.
A glimpse of leaves trembling in the wind.
Shinning waters glistening.
Shadow bird singing.
Devil Stick crawling with Virginia Creeper.
Buds speared by humming birds.
Rabbits thumping in waves of green.
Breezes changing the view.
A glimpse into something new.
glimpse at time fleeting
and what could have been ~
a squandered youth
