The first signs of spring—
the lily of the valley
bordering the garden.
The faint sounds of baby birds:
tiniest glimmers
of the beauty that surrounds us
daily.

The green foliage,
a tapestry of wonders.
Feel the soft mound beneath your feet.
A butterfly—
a sign of life—
flutters away.

Sanguine sunsets dance marvelous minuets 
Before falling abed, he briefly bled

a howling waterfront, 
where waves weave whispers 
to the waning night, 
I wander through the wilderness, 
seeking sequins of solace. 
At the water edge, 
moonlight swirls as a monsoon,

Magic Bottle Glimmers

 

One day mom gave me a bottle sparkling,
bright fairy pixie lights swirled around me;
all about my room sparkles encircling,
the twinkles from the bottle were set free !

Mom, what a wonderful glimmering light,
a golden glowing magical dazzle;
lights are floating up and down, left and right,
oh, enchanted and in a bedazzle !

Feel the hope
See the rainbows
Embrace the unknown

For in each moment
There's a chance
To catch a star
Sneak a glance

See the angels
Feel their wings
See their halos
Embrace their peace

Feel the glimmers
Ignite your soul
The angel's blessings
Make you feel

Glimmers of Love

How long will I love you, often you ask
Forever and a day, my love will last
Till there’s no blossom or leaves upon trees
Or pretty daffodils dancing o’er breeze.

Till clouds cease to form patterns in the sky
All seas and rivers begin running dry
Till all poets have no poetic prose
Or night has no beginning, day no close.

The girl with diamond eyes steps forth like a shooting star into the night.

The treetop glimmers outside my window
   As light, dancing upon the leaflets -
Shimmies about in affable yellow.
   My gaze can't help but be captivated
By light, pure and perfectly aglow.

Rural Glimmers

In the country we do not have city vison,
we have a phosphorus luster,
we have snails and worms
that turn over a silvered mulch.

The slow burn of a late dusk
kindles sun-setting shadows –

the sheen of beetle clipper-claws.

A chitinous moonlight flickers
upon crystalline windowpanes.
