Glimmers In the Wind
As I am looking skyward on this night,
by Mother Nature’s beauty I am blessed,
as all the twinkling stars are shining bright,
but one white jewel stands out from all the rest,
with her bright beauty I am so obsessed.
Like Venus, summer’s brilliant evening star,
she's shining down upon me from afar.
Along the wind her silent sparkles drift,
this goddess from above that lights my world;
her presence here to me is such a gift
as she emits her glimmers soft and pearled,
like gentle smiles around the moonbeams curled.
As daydreams lift my soul into the sky
my reveries now leave me with a sigh.
