*Playing around with Alliteration The sun softly shimmers with gold glimmers Sanguine sunsets dance marvelous minuets Before falling abed, he briefly bled for having to close his eyes beneath stunning skies when daylight dies Revived, reborn each misty morn With radiant rays, he deftly displays his fading luminous light in flourishing flight

Nice job Lin. You're giving a lot of personality to the what occurs at this special time of day. This look and alteration do make me smile.

It's one of the most beautiful, but I think sunrise challenges it in that category. Thanks, my kind friend.

Wondrous alliteration, Lin, highly imaginative. I hope you have a splendid late April day with much inspiration. :)

I don't think there's a form you haven't yet tackled and conquered Lin. This one just rolls off the tongue. Tom

Thank you, Tom. That's quite a generous remark coming from someone I admire so much. I wonder why I so often write of celestial beings, and I do think of them as personified entities.

Dear linnersz, This is beyond beautiful and so creatively wove , i love the alliterations, so subtle and soft like every poem of yours, which has that feminine elegance , that flows so smoothly! Stunning assonance too, and i love especially “ Before falling abed, he briefly bled for having to close his eyes beneath stunning skies when daylight dies ” such touching words woven there, i love also the picture! The sun is a bit too fierce here on my side in the sunny side of life! Pleasure reading your poem! Sending you light always

You really are being much too kind. Your lines of comment far outshine the sun's glimmer in my lines. I didn't intend to rhyme that. lol Thank you, Ink.
