Dedicated to George Stinney Jr
The mind of a child
Is one supposed to be filled with innocence
But his was clouded with fear
Barely out of the womb
And already he would be buried in a tomb
He barely had time to start life
Barely had time to love and be loved
He barely had time to be a son
He would make history
Just not how he would've imagined
He would become the youngest person on death row
Youngest person to be executed on death row
A black boy who never got to be a boy
His last thoughts were a prayer
To be saved, to be seen, to be given a chance
'Are you there God, its me george'
Unfortunately God's grace doesn't extend to his black 'children'
Unfortunately his life was cut short
Unfortunately he wouldn't get to grow old
Apparently he wasn't deemed worthy enough for 'God's love'
Justice was never served
Even after 81 years
"Oh King Charles Philip Arthur George,
how do I see thee?
Let me count the ways...
Tho' beauty is only skin deep,
and in the eye of the beholder,
or so we have been told,
yours is more, it goes to the bone,
a sore sight for eyes to behold,
now you have acceded to the throne.
As, like diarrhoea, it seems,
it runs in the genes,
and, if POTUS is President of the USA,
would you be he, KOTUK,
King Of The UK?"
'Surely you jest,' quoth he in dour reply.
Tho', not joking nor feeling surly,
"Some things you simply can't deny,
ours not to reason why," said I,
"and please don't call me Shirley!"
On this day the…
thirteen colonies
broke away from British Crown~
forming USA
George Wendt to Heaven when he died.
He was talented and that can't be denied.
George Wendt to a bar where everybody knew his name.
Now that he's dead, Hollywood will never be the same.
George Wendt to Heaven and the angels started to cheer.
But his friends, family and fans are sad and shedding tears.
George gave a terrific performance in "Fletch" back in 1985.
I speak for everybody when I say I wish that he was still alive.
George Wendt to Heaven and everybody said goodbye to him.
When it came to his fans, his performances pleased all of them.

I leave today’s blessing in George Washington Carver’s hands
After all he said it best…
so in Mr. Carver’s words:
May we all blessed to understand
“How far we go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these.”
George Wendt was an actor and he starred in "Cheers".
He loved to sit on that stool and drink plenty of beer.
He starred in many shows and movies but will be best remembered as Norm Peterson.
He attended Jesuit Rockhurst College and graduated with a B.A. in economics in 1971.
After he lived for 76 years, we're saying goodbye.
He was a unique man and it was his time to die.
People were fortunate to be able to see him act.
When I say that he had talent and skill, it's a fact.

George Robert Wendt
to a sitcom his talent lent
he took the show by storm
and everyone knew him as “Norm!!!”
Four years before George Floyd met death
Tony Timpa drew his last breath
A cop pressed a knee into his back too
Tony cried warnings, the warnings were true.
Tony was white, George was black
A knee in Tony's back wasn't a racist attack
In neither case, was killing sought
It was a bad police tactic, that cops were taught.
If we talk of George Floyd also recall David Dorn
When protests erupted, then riots were born
You can cry "no justice, no peace'
But a looter shot David, made his life cease.
David, a black man, was trying to protect a store
That too is a story we should not ignore
To some, black lives matter only if the story resonates
So many other stories buried in these United States.
Don't just care when the outrage aligns,
Think of the lives falling between the lines.

Painting by Peter Doig. A concise abstract on Abbey Road and its pivotal moment. He subsequently produced outstanding music. His music resembled pleasant dew cascading as melodic notes, like honey smeared on leavened bread.

George Harrison
moving toward a liquid abyss
after Abbey Road--
where no sunlight can seep into the hall
surrounding the mirrored pool
he draws the guitar strings
with notched arrows
tipped in flint
striking sparks
like match heads ignited
on concrete sidewalks
during the golden hour
heavy with humid
condensation
coating every surface
with sweet dew
musical notes drip down
like honey spread
on warm yeasty bread

George Edward Foreman
was a man who had a plan
he was a great boxer who gave us thrills
and Big George managed to sell thousands of grills
We were staying at a Boston inn in 1773,
just good ol’ George Washington and me.
And he said, "I'm not telling you to lie,
but ~ if Martha comes by ~
tell her you have no idea where I could be."
George Denis Patrick Carlin
he was not everybody’s darlin’
initially everyone thought him a nerd
but then he gave us the seven words
George Ivan Morrison
the singing Irishman
really earned his money
my favorite song is Tupelo Honey
