Written: May 5th, 2025, for contest by Brian Strand Painting by Peter Doig. A concise abstract on Abbey Road and its pivotal moment. He subsequently produced outstanding music. His music resembled pleasant dew cascading as melodic notes, like honey smeared on leavened bread. ****************** George Harrison moving toward a liquid abyss after Abbey Road-- where no sunlight can seep into the hall surrounding the mirrored pool he draws the guitar strings with notched arrows tipped in flint striking sparks like match heads ignited on concrete sidewalks during the golden hour heavy with humid condensation coating every surface with sweet dew musical notes drip down like honey spread on warm yeasty bread

SP, George Harrison was a gifted and remarkable musician. I remember listening to Abbey Road about 50 or more years ago and still listen to it every so often. Thanks for thinking of him and describing him in this way. Artists are gone eventually, but it's amazing that what they produce can make us smile long after.

This is a very different piece of art youv used here, iv never seen it and you did a very concise and unique take on the artwork! I really love “ musical notes drip down like honey spread” how beautiful! And descriptive! And goes with the silhouette there in the painting! I also love how youv started the poem and the way youv painted imagery throughout is beautiful! Pleasure reading this gem! Best wishes for the contest dr sotto! I think brian will love this! Sending you light always
