Tree Garments

Leaves come cascading from trees seeking ground,
effortlessly floating, making no sound.
Once aground they swirl, moving as if lost,
then a removal chore, I’ll bear the cost.
I get immense pleasure watching them fall,
soon naked branches, await winter’s call.
But with spring's arrival come buds once more,
then leaves to make shade, like that...
