I am not a great gambler,
But I frequently buy a lotto ticket
And a One dollar scratch,
Most weeks,
With occasional claw backs resulting,
And the bank still sound.
But when it comes to free tickets on the scratch,
I am still waiting to break the drought,
Which leads me to my fundraising idea,
Of giving the free tickets to charity,
With the hope the gods will be kinder to them.
This is a great idea, tee hee,
Good suggestions are so me,
Nuisance caller was asking me,
Money for her fundraising committee,
"Right," said little old chirpy me,
"You can send cheques to me,
We need funds here desperately!"
I must say, sensitively,
Great ideas are so me,
Nuisance caller hung up on me!
Child killers
Sexual abuses
A wife beaten to a pulp
Becuase her husband was drunk
Someone's Grandmother
Robbed to provide a junkies fix
A war vetran
Conned out of his life savings
So he can't even pay for his own funeral costs
A charity coin collection box
A local shop dedicated to fundraising
For the perpetrators of said crimes
Should by the following rules abide
Let the punishment fit the crime
An eye for an eye
A life for a life
A bruise for a break
And a stake to drive through where there heart should be
Back to do the Devil's calling
Buried alive in hell
New Year is a time to be happy. It is a time to complete that which were promised in the past. Make no new one until you have completed the one you have pledged to do in the past. I believe, if we do that, that which God has promised will begin to take place in our lives. He promised His Son, Christ, and it happened exactly the way He promised and because of that, 'Great Potential' which He placed within us will begin to materialize in our lives. Happy New Year to you!

A devil in three-piece polyester
Sweaty jowls hanging over starched collar
Worker’s bane, savings account molester
Stalking your front door, try not to holler
Huntin’ for your cash; not all he will do
Piles of workers’ scalps under his front seat
Lambs to the slaughter for our Darthie-poo
Laundering funds for government elites
Business buys Washington, who buys the vote
Our tax dollars, the machine’s power source
IRS laws cut the middle class’ throat
Wall Street’s equal opportunity whores
Puts the “fun” in “fundraising” for the Man
Darthie’s knocking and he’s not here to beg
One measly pound of flesh, that’s not his plan
By law, he’s due at least one arm and leg

Charity is for the poor and the needy
And its fundraising employees
And for those whose hearts are to be won by mercy
And for those in bondage and in debt
And in the way of Allah the Great
And for the people who are far away from home
And Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.
