The Big Freeze

Aspect ratio
The logs had jammed the creek
and a snow storm ws
coming through.
When the weather had turned cold a troubled
people look for a remedy to there aliment.
One person said that it seemed the waters had froze
faster then they had ever did before.
They used there recording device to document

Freeze

The sunset tides will wash me away
Jaded, but
          I try
And now I stand to hear my breathless breaths.
Over the white noise, screaming out
"Sunrise, sunset, can you wash away the rain?"
My

Premium Memberfoggy freeze dried memories

icy daggers serrated his chilly mind
memories sharp as polar bear’s claws
wielded reminiscent evocation in pain
how he longed for selective amnesia

heart and reason at war with the enemy
a battle only to be won if he surrendered
to inevitability that conflicts were useless
unless of course they concluded in cease fire

his father had fought at the Russian Front

While transporting my brain

Through the ethereal plane

A strange thought entered my mind

Am I a link in the chain

Or am I going insane

With no semblance of reason to find

Aah...that thought quickly passed

I was no longer aghast

And continued on my way

From my first thought to last

Oh how it went by so fast

But still

Premium MemberA Winter Alouette

Winter winds how cold
with blinding snow bold,
skip us; I demand thee!
See the white flakes dance,
while yards they romance.
Winter days make scarce and flee.

Psychotic cold breeze
broken limbs dry freeze.
Vacant and hollow air spins.
Air is cold by light,
and chilled more by night.
Winter depression begins.

Freeze Frame

Freeze Frame is a part of the game,
When your running life’s great test.

When you take stock you gotta learn to rock,
You’ll be rolling with the best.

Life is just a movie film and your the star of the screen,
It’ll take you to the places where the glitters never seen.

The camera rolls and the lights are bright.
You

your life is your life, don’t let its shadows freeze your heart,
stand on that edge of dawn that whispers promises to you,
with every sunrise, with every star extinguished in the cold mornings,
for there is a light somewhere, beyond the veil of autumn rain,
a fragile light, but enough to meet the darkness,
open your eyes wide, see

In the cells of silence, where dreams freeze in wax,
Lone women walk with hearts as hard as bitter stone.
A flame of pure pride, in their veins runs hot,
Thinking of a dreamed prince, whom longing carries in the mind.
In their hidden chambers, embroidered with restless longing,
Trees of memories grow, that have not borne an answer,
Walls of

Deep Freeze

Late January
and the sky is an icebox.
The rind of a once fat possum
litters a park path,
It is not a place to linger.

Ice pools gather,
the water inside them
grows grinding teeth.

The jelled imprints
of long dead leaves
lace concrete,
smear the soil.

Outside the city park,
hospitals and churches
fume in snowy flurries.
Walkers thread their way through
trod-down streets.

Still too early to tell
if the

Premium MemberToo Much Ice

Rain yesterday. Last night it froze.
I'm looking at an icicle that is my car, I suppose.
I go out with a scraper and a red, runny nose.
My fingers are tingling and I think I've lost my toes.

I want to start the engine, but I can't open the door.
I scrape at the window. Nope. It stays iced

Weather Alert, Expect Hard Freeze
Miracle Man
October 31, 2023

The weather alert started with a northwest breeze,
and said before morning we’d see a hard freeze.

But this won’t be the earliest freeze I’ve seen,
for it isn’t uncommon to predate Halloween.

The results of this, green leaves will be browned,
and I still had garden hoses laying aground.

Each year I’m slower

Freeze Cryogenic Future Now What Exactly

Trying to imagine

And then have to contextualize

If it was to be in fact possible

Being able to or possess the ability

To cryogenically freeze

And so preserve myself

After my actual death

I was medically pronounced dead

Then what exactly ?

What happens then ?

1 day in however many years

Doesn't really matter in the future

I am defrosted and woken
