I. Lightning and Thunder
Warning this storm is about to overtake and have casualties as the words are being unleashed from a heart being poured out. It started off as a small gesture and then it grew into a large pile of rice tipping the scales. Now the time clock is ticking as the power is becoming visible. The teeth are coming out into a wide grin that makes the Cheshire cat frown. It makes the Joker die with delight. What can I say but it is you that have let the genie out of this bleeding lamp. Rubbing it three times as lead to the awakening of the beast inside of me. I’m hungry for a little lamb. The power of fire and ice with the massiveness of the earth and force of the wind is within my breath. The breath of the dragon. Like a fiery Carolina Reaper it will burn the weakness away. Like the temperature of absolute zero it will freeze the true evil on contact. Like the earth the breath will be a massive attack upon the weak fabric of ignorance and stupidity. Like the wind it will blow away the falsehood of your lies. You have awoken this beast and cannot put it to sleep. Welcome to the beginning of the end. For it is your time to listen and silence your voice. I have no love in my heart for you!
She Touched The Water
My muse
touched the waters
of a spring fed river
She had a special gift to deliver
Releasing the inspiration
from deep within her
She said “ Drink please witness
about saint and sinner.
Surrender your mind
become a true believer.
The line between real and fantasy,
you can make it thinner.”
So with my cupped hands
I began to deeply drink
Muted greys
became a vibrant pink
Thoughts and ideas
were transformed into ink
It was all so fantastic
those things I could think
She said “Write them all down
or they’ll be gone in a blink.”
Not all thoughts were happy
some they made my heart sink.
The more I drank
the more I was elated
Oh how easily
I concentrated
Ideas expressed
tales of wonder consecrated
Secretly I craved
being congratulated
What was written felt solid
those things I created
Wise, wonderful words
emotionally weighted
Wanting more and more
I couldn’t be sated
My magical muse
began to worry about me
Who I was
or might soon be
She said “I must share
this burden to set you free”
So next to the river
she planted flowers and trees
Other poets coming
abated my dis ease
She told them “Drink from the river,
as much as you please!
If you don’t I will cause it to freeze.”
Our Muse whispered loudly
“Poets take your words near and far.
Be true kind and vulnerable
let people know who you are.
Hide messages in bottles
Transport people to a distant star
Sing from the rooftops
Tell Limericks in a bar
Poetry is music
play tunes on a guitar
Shine bright like a fire fly
that has escaped from its jar!”
Together we have community
Being with the rare few
Who share our lunacy
The ones able to decipher
these things that we see
For us it’s a river
this place we love to be
Gardens free of enemies
Green grass, rivers and trees
We gather by the shore
like birds and bees
You are welcome to join us
stay for as long as you please!
I have found a pureness within him that my soul thrives for.
I am driven by the desire to please him without boundaries.
His image holds the power to freeze my movement, the vibration of his voice holds the power to tremble me.
His heart holds the power to break me, his soul holds the power to expire me.
I believe in him for his intention and desire.
I believe in him for who he is and his worth.
I believe in his now and his future.
I believe in him for his knowledge and his potential.
I believe in his skill as a provider and his force to become.
I feel he is somebody I had once lost.
I feel between us a bond stronger than mankind can create.
A fate unknown, undecided, I give myself to him to have, to do with it what he will, to make it his own.
Maybe it the Night
the way the moonlight
shines in your eye's
your hair your smile.....
i HAVE NEVER BEEN IN LOVE LIKE
i'M IN LOVE WITH YOU
IF IT SOUNDS CRAZY
THEN i'M CRAZY IN LOVE
WITH YOU
THE FATE OF OUR DATES
AND FROM ANY TYPE OF MENTIONS
IT'S YOUR DESCION
i'LL PUT IT ALL ON YOU
I'm in love
so in love
what their for me to do
I'm in love with you
it aint that easy to say
cause you could be in a rejective
stage
full of frustration and deranged
but i can't deny the truth
A wanting and longing feeling
comprimes and dealing
what ah man to do
Darling I'm in love with you
it aint so frustrintal
sorta sentimental
whats a man to do
see I'm in love with you

It always seems to be raining when she visits.
Its the pitter-patter of bland rain that goes away easily,
It does not seem to be falling, it just persists,
It’s a constant force that conspires against me.
My Persian cats Esmerelda and Fifi freeze,
And their meows become agitated near the back door.
As my thoughts are blown away on the gentle breeze.
I’ll forget to feed them as I have done before.
The dogs down the street seem to change their howling sound.
It sounds like warroull, it’s not their usual bark.
Every living thing that flies or walks on the ground,
Knows and welcomes her into this palace of dark.
Soon there is the soft tapping on the window pane,
There she is again, the dark neatly dressed lady.
She is not covered in water despite the rain,
My buzzing drifting mind ignores the irony.
There is always a cough at the door when she comes to see me.
Although it is pouring she asks me to follow,
It ‘s a walk void of time, down to the endless sea,
Where there is no sunlight today or tomorrow.
Walking into the grey waters I pray for peace.
Perhaps one glorious day the tapping will cease.

Feel fond fest
Claim clear crest
Start sweet sense
Touch true tense
Speak soft sounds
Glimpse grand grounds
Wise words will
Sight stand still
Pique pure prime
Ripe rich rhymes
Dare deep dance
Choice charms chance
Bear bright blooms
Great grouse grooms
Seek sure space
Tear tricks trace
Meet might mad
Stick stray sad
Time trips time
Chase clear chimes
Freeze-frame fringe
Cast crisp cringe
Hurl high hooks
Lame late looks
Plot peer point
Juice just joint
Mad moves mull
Spill sure skull

Singapore
Here it is the first day of June
indeed summer is truly now here
the dark clouds of winter have ceased
these bright blue skies are so clear
In Scotland this week it's so bright
sun is shining reaching 26C degrees
everyone's face is always smiling
so different from the past cold freeze
The sun lifts one's spirit high
puts inward glow within the heart
there's a joy in one's every step
filling one fully not just a part
One wishes for this the whole year
but then there would be no bearing fruit
we need all the years varied seasons
all the life's plants need begin at root
But we certainly do love our summer
it makes us feel so really very good
describing it can be hard to explain
but it's effect puts us in real good mood
(Just some thoughts as we had entered summer here in UK a couple of months ago and at least in Scotland the sun has decided to come out and celebrate with us though its never lasted.)
Ode to Youth
There was a time when I was new,
Sprouts fresh and green, life just begun;
My skin plump as morning petals dew,
All things are beautiful when young!
An energy and strength ever true;
Discoveries, emotions so exciting!
Yes, it was so…
Not that long ago…
My future ahead inviting.
The early days, the world yet unknown;
Hopes and dreams like sunbeams shone.
Possibilities had no end,
Tension held like the arrow on a bow,
Those days before heartbreaks begin;
Cupid, quivering, not ready to let go.
Regrets hadn't yet brought me to my knees.
Yes, youth is the state, where love awaits,
before the winters freeze.
Father forgive us for being forlorn and falling
Father forbid us for continuing in our fractured and failing faith
Father forgive us for being on a Pharisaical frequency, our felonistic fealty
Father be firm in fermenting the old form and forming the new form
Father help us from faith to sight, to stand still and from fumbling and flight
Father thaw the frozen chosen, free the former and ford with the free
Forgive us all for forgetting to forgive family, friends and frisky foes
Father fence in the fiendish of all foes, frown at our flash and Flemish giant holes we fancy
Father forgive the frantic and fatalistic fray, pray tell Father don't falter
Freed from our sins by Jesus our Friend, Founder and Forever Fiddly
Father under Your feathers we can fly freely over the frame of Your fields
Father freeze our fleeting feet, flesh out the futility of fake fossil flack
Father fix our philosophies and our philandering, our fantastic fudging of facts
Father finally [and again] forgive us our frequent fallacies of faltering finitude
Surging stream meanders in the carved valley
Concert of murmur cascades melody on sculpted rock
I place my ears on the ripples of the whistling air
but the sound of music flies past me unpereived.
Summer rains splash in torrent the parched tree
The rhythm of aria echoes on the dancing leaves
I keep my subtle senses alert in the scene
but the symphony fades away far unheard.
I try but can’t relate to these sounds
For these are out of sync for me
Dissipating in the depth of silence.
From the cacophony of distraught clamor
Voices return unheard to where they came from
For the stark reality remains hidden unsaid
In the unreachable abyss of the marooned minds.
On the misty path lost in the winter wilderness
Feelings freeze like sleet on the trail unwalked
The buds of emotion wither away unblossomed
in the forlorn frigid crevasse of the glacial hearts.
I try to reach out to all these cold people
But their frosted faces drift away like formless cloud
Beyond the sky of silence.
On the wave lashed shore of life
The palace of yearning I try to build
With sands of time borrowed from eternity
No one comes in, it collapses in the sea of oblivion.
Detached, I hear the divine melody of solitude
Resonating the tune of supreme soul within me
With the sound of silence.
