Flourishing goddess, in your effervescent wisdom,
You uplift and encourage us women
Your positivity brings us a consciousness of optimism
We appreciate your love and inspiration
Flourishing goddess, with your heart of a lion
Your spiritualism of a cosmic being
You continue to support and love us
We could not be whole without you

Climbing the bushes
Longing for sunlight
And saying hello to the morning walkers
Or the happy school children
Plenty sunshine more flourishing
It sees to the rise and fall of the village
When most people stay closed in
It still ventures out loitering
To see to the safety of the neighbourhood
It escorts the pedestrians if any
And any brave wanderers
With a sweet and hearty smile
And a best gesture

worrily break of day;
suddenly fierce insects flees;
whilst birds bobbing;

Tended with diligent care and toiling
Prayed for against pest attack so severe
Being nurtured by God’s bountiful grace
Our church gardens* are flourishing indeed.
Abundant green and leafy vegetables
Sway healthily exuding their nutrients:
Camote, alugbati, and sili
Likewise, ampalaya, talong, okra.
Herbarium corner shouts vim and vigor
Since herbs serve with supplements’ readiness
There’s aloe vera; here’s serpentina
Sambong on the right; herbabuena, too.
Hedged with bamboos are ornamental plants
Vines and ivies find solace in their nook
Robust bushes, “fortune” and “welcome” reign
As shrubs of pink petiole and red gold peep.
Blest to be refreshed from these garden sites
I then linger near the acasia tree
Savoring oxygen breathed out freely
Thanking the Creator for flora-wealth.
Such is our Botanical Ministry
Offering sweet replenishment from stress
With greeneries’ beauty of wellness strength
Toward invigorating service-bliss.

FLOURISHING WITH ROSY CHEEKS
bright lights burn
singe my flesh
our hearts aflame
strokes of rays
from north to south
luminary climax
moon-cradled
in my spouse’s arms
splash of serenity
the dawn’s touchdown
taps my feet, flickers
caffeinated candlelight
another day burns
brighter than its ancestor
a relative blush

Frostwork on my window; and finally
the crystal-white, laced-flowers
of yours are blooming now.
So those long sought days are here.
Grass turns green.
Emollients, making their way
to nourish buds, stop,
for the sake of
pollination, moisture
become the hero,
uds sit, waiting for sunlight
waiting for sunlight
Then, becoming modified,
No longer are they buds,
earing beaut;
as if, created by a skilled hand
Spring arrived in yard.
To be nested and flourish
home waits vacations
Flourishing Love
Though I thought I wouldn't be able to love,for i have loved and lost.But you,how did you fill that hole that resounds inside of me? Can't I even think of anything else then what i have lost look at what i have gain so beautifully.This love in which is in both of us this love which resounds over and over again in my heart.How do love know how does it build until it is certain I am in love because I found you.You are now all I think about your everything I want.I no longer hurt myself I no longer feel dead,I am once again alive.There is love between us there is love where there shouldn't be for I thought I had lost all meaning to feel for love.But here it is and I hope it stay forever until I die or at least until we fall in love more with each other or for someone else.This beauty pure love shall grow hall be our harmony and we will sing to it forever even if i road shall split this shall be our song our song of love.Our flourishing our pure our our love is perfect.
Mythical verdant
Overshadows woodland backdrop
Enhancing the view
deceit pumps through her veins
fuel to her black soul
daggers fly from her mouth
effortlessly piercing victims
ungrateful
ignorant
deceptive
pseudo companion
fraudulent friend of mine
treason
the basis of her existence
thriving off every betrayal
every perfidy
fantastic fink
spectacular snitch
spewing infidelities
never ceasing to demoralize the righteous
corrupt manipulation of the innocent
puncturing the enervated
a ghost of regret
chasing me
haunting me
lurking in the shadows
eager to invade
and conquer me
devouring every shred of elation
yearning for deliverance
