Flourishing With Rosy Cheeks
FLOURISHING WITH ROSY CHEEKS
bright lights burn
singe my flesh
our hearts aflame
strokes of rays
from north to south
luminary climax
moon-cradled
in my spouse’s arms
splash of serenity
the dawn’s touchdown
taps my feet, flickers
caffeinated candlelight
another day burns
brighter than its ancestor
a relative blush
