Premium Member The World is Bleeding

The world is bleeding badly as we know
This haemorrhage started many years ago.
A band aid will not fix its gaping wound
So, to be frank I fear we may be doomed.

This bleeding seems to seep across earth’s land
From many causes we can’t understand.
And now this wound is such a festered sore
If not stopped soon, we’ll bleed to death for sure.
.
Our world is such a truly treasured prize
But man can’t see what is before their eyes.
The wars, the hate, the politics, the greed,
Just many causes making our world bleed.

Perhaps there is a doctor here today
A specialist who may show us the way.
On how to seal our wounds and make them right
Fix up our world, with knowledge and insight.

To teach us all how we must stem the flow
If in the future bleeding starts to show.
A pressure bandage soon must be applied
And only when the blood stops then untied.

Living On the Sun

Living on the Sun
   can be a question
    to more wise people
       of this planet earth.
as it seems so difficult to fix up this world
who will have courage to live on the sun?
when it is forty degree celsius many people
looking  for shelters under  some trees and
   in waters.

Burn the House Down

You could fix up my shattered windows
Patch up the holes in the walls
Find a way to make the incessant creaking
Of the floorboards–hush
Make the faucets stop their aching
Drip…drip…drip…
New shingles
New doors
New cupboards and cabinets
Make my old bones feel new again–
What I really want
Is to be set ablaze
Ashes to ashes
All my flaws and failures
Gone with the strike of a match
Then and only then–
Pick up your hammer

Premium Member Super Confident Training Mouse

I have no medical knowledge, but I can fix up a horse
I can shoe them and herd them and cowboy them said mouse.
What kind of horse sense is this? Asked ancient cow named Roy.
You haven’t had any schooling, and you ain’t no cowboy.

I’ve been watching them for years, the mouse said, not intimidated.
Degrees do not matter nor the fact that I have not graduated.
This barn has been my university, my acumen is sharp and keen.
Give me a wild stallion or a palomino, and I will show you a new scene.

Barnyard animals were askance and a’scared of this confident mouse.
He was braggadocio like the wind, terrifying ants, beetles and louse.
The horses believed him because he had absolute belief in himself.
By the time he was finished there were sixty trophies up on their shelf.

Premium Member Katies Birds

Katie had a habit of inviting birds home to roost.
She had a fine mansion on a street known as Troost.
Her neighbors heard trills and caws coming out of her roof.
This poem is not the only thing that can provide proof.

Katie was well known as the fix-it-up-queen.
She would fix up any fowl with feathers, even the mean.
Hawks and ravens lived in her attic along with a bat.
They were so intimidating, they frightened her cat.

The cat ran off to another home and adopted another Mom.
The best scenario, if you asked the Pelican, Petey Pee Pom.
The eagles were carnivores and demanded meat.
The penguin required ice, where they floated so sweet.

This is a mixed up mess, a house for the slightly insane.
Said a man who came to visit and got chased off by her crane.
The seagulls and pigeons constructed an army of sorts.
Her animals were well known in all the king’s courts.

Possession of Obsession For Aggression

new straw did appear
fix up lawn for new year
glad it will be here

presumed possession
confession of obsession
with much aggression

was a mind bender
always has been big spender
done by each gender

presumed promiscuous
we knew was ambiguous
also prestigious

another agent
was highly intelligent
which is prevalent

in every essence
she (he) would need conval

Orders To a Torrential Rain

Oh! Rain ….
Without discipline like the Vain
To the uplands, not to the low
To the rocks over there -Go !
They interminably hiss,
When you strike them and don’t miss.

Now you ‘re pillaging my heritage
By our forefathers celebrated with vintage :
The costs of their re-roofing not counting,
My thief- frustrating fence not minding
sadly no Joseph the carpenter to charge me a Christian price
For my now disfigured door;
Fat chances of the previous amount paying thrice
To again fix up my ravaged floor.
So, Torrential Rain, aim at that far away tree
And while doing so, feel quite free!!

Premium Member Spare Bedroom

Why do we pack our elders away like old photo albums?
To spend their golden years
under roofs made of bed sores and icy abuse.
Is it too much to ask to fix up that spare bedroom
to make their last years a little less harsh...
like they once did for us when life chewed our hearts
and spit us into darkness-

Yes, there will be adjustments and frustration,
as they've so little control over faculties
(much like us when we were their babies).
They'll keep us up all night with endless demands
but weren't they once bogged down by our endless needs).
Didn't they want to see the world but sacrificed everything
to build us a better life.

So, suck it up-fix up that spare bedroom.
make the best of it...
put some thought and heart into it
A few pictures, a vase of smiling flowers.

What Love Is To Me

I saw someone ask what is love, to me it keeps me going my reason to live,
My family my kids my friends there's so much love you can give,
What else we here for to sit around in self pity and moan,
Find how to share your love and the true feelings will be shown,
Life's hard can feel so low and try to give in,
Think who loves you and fix up don't give into that sin,
Everyday I live for my kids Mrs and mom,
They gave me my life, that's where all my happy memories come from.

Premium Member Fun: Cheer Leaders

Do those cheer leaders ever finish their shower,
Does the plumber ever fix up that leak,
Does the girl hitchhiking get to her town,
On every other day of the week,

These stories and more leave me in two minds,
Whatever occurs in the end,
What starts out as a normal average day out,
Becomes savage debauchery instead,

Where all of a sudden the ideal woman craves all,
Where “We really should not” becomes “Should”,
Where the old battered bench becomes better than bed,
Where all that she wants is some wood,

I’ll never find out the end of these tales,
My mind is not strong, it’s too weak,
Because I never seem to last right up to the end,
Stuff happens and I just fall asleep.

Recipe For Life On the Up

Wise up,
Stand up, Man up, Straighten up,
Listen up, Sit up,
Learn when to shut up and don't Play up.

Freshen up,
Mix up, Stir up, Mash up, Cook up, Fry up, Set up,
Eat up, Fill up, Drink up,
Try not to Burp up, or Bring up,
Wash up, Clean up.

Dress up, Drive up, Walk up, Make up,
Don't be Stuck up or have a Bust up.

Join up, Turn up, Speak up, Write up,
Never be part of a Jack up.

Build up, Hoist up, Reach up, Hop up,
If you Stuff up, Fix up.

Save up, Round up, Pay up,
Never say "stick em up"
Or you may End up Sent up.

Cheer up,
Don't forget to look up.

Addicted To Poems

This morning I woke up from bed
With a paper and pen in my hand
Then I started to write, I hope you'd get it right?
I am addicted to poems
Some famous poets that you like
The ones meant to fix up their lives
They promoting fashion, I promote my passion,
My heart is always pumping out rhymes
My purpose is beyond my body
I'm the definition of my hobby
So don't be fooled no more
We can't be cool no more,
If you are neglecting my vibes
Its positive most of time
How you reflect in the eyes of my lines?
My metaphor convey a message with smiles
To make your day better and bright
But the truth is I just want to rhyme
Yes friend, I just want to rap
Do I really care if they clap?
You can call me crazy,
But I'd never be lazy,
I'd stay strong working on my craft

Material World

Modern vanity, well I believe it has gone too far
Everyone doing their makeup in their car.
See yourself in the mirror then run to fix up
Like anyone knows if you've just used the best makeup.

What happened to who we are?
Will we get treated better if we look like star?
I love magazines but afterwards wow....
I need to work on myself I feel like cow!

Media has made humans very insecure.
Is that the right message , I'm not so sure.
Tone it down a bit is all I'm suggesting
So we don't feel like constantly product testing.

Well to get to the point and the bottom and truth .......

Sex sales, so things may never change. Put on your sexiest outfit and then you can't lose !!!!!
