Farewells Poems

Echoes of Farewells

In twilight's tender embrace, we stand,
Whispers of sorrow, drifting like sand.
Heart heavy with the weight of goodbyes,
Farewell echoes in tear-stained skies.

Ephemeral moments, like petals they fall,
Love's bittersweet melody, a haunting call.
Embraces linger, a fragile refrain,
In the symphony of loss, we dance with pain.

Eyes reflect galaxies, stories untold,
Aching souls in separation's cold hold.
Silent tears trace the

Farewells

Recollections were a little hazy,
His leaving party last night,
Undying friendships sworn,
That last friendly little fight.
Goodbye, Scotland the Brave,
Home of the warrior Clan,
The Batter Fried Mars Bar,
The Rangers footie fan,
Cool pints of Heavy
Plates of ‘taties and neaps,
Lining for the stomach
After boozy long sleeps.

He wore a Black Watch Kilt
Hung modestly to his knees
With a hem of fishing

The Problem With Farewells

I can't forget the last time when we huged together.
The last time we posed for a photo.
The last time we shared a laugh
The last time we teared up together.
And it was probably the last time we ever met.

Having you was a blessing.
Having you was comfort.
Having you was the best part of the journey
Having you helped

(sublime)

such sublime warm days
of beauty -
stained leaves are falling

(divine)

the leaves dance
as trees send their divine -
fragile snowflakes floats

Final Farewells

Torrents of tears flow
At the demise of a beloved friend
Striking into our hearts a low blow
As against sorrow ourselves we can’t defend

Morale fallen
Strength and breadth lost
Crestfallen
Emotional cost

Too high to bear
As uncertainties our future strikes
Amid wear and tear
At high speed likes

To wear us down
Where it hurts us the most
In our crown though we attempt to

Forever Farewells

For a moment,
Looking upward,
I suspected they had fallen from the sky.

Taking a long breathe, standing firm with determination, I observed every single detail.
Some of them were much better off than the rest of us-
They were no longer bound to any physical bond or any emotional ones for that matter..

From afar,
a herd of

I Say My Farewells

Farewell,
Depression,tension and extreme obsession,
Life has taught me many lessons,
People that come and stay for a season,
Usually impact me for a particular reason,
Goodbye to the negative ones that still wallow,
Emotional black holes that feed on what's hollow,
Voids never fill when one gets stuck in the same place,
This mountain of mine I refuse to NOT

Small Farewells

Of youthful musings,
Sad and sweet,
Of sorrows passing, soon to greet,
All remembrance, hushed and still,
As each lost moment may entreat
Steadfast desires,
Once fulfilled,
To rest, but never will.

Of blind affections,
Kept with care,
Of cold promises, havens shared,
In a tear, a touch, a smile,
Each expression becomes bare,
So glowing gardens
Can beguile
A heart, for but a while.

Of mirrored image,
Palled, enshrined,
Of embrace

Florida Fond Farewells

Have a party, all are leaving.
Fond farewells and sad goodbyes,
pack your clothes and try not grieving.
Hug each other, do not cry.

Winter's over head north fast, five days later home at last.
Unload your over swollen car set up the kitchen and the bar.

Call your friends, tell them your near.
"Come on over, have a beer."
Same friends there

Nocturnal Farewells of Ships(For the Black Sea)

I left like the last tourist in late September
and threw a back-pack of memories over
my shoulders cherished in a fist size jewelry box
given to me by a dear friend.
But left my heart buried under
a lonely beach umbrella abandoned
by other tourists like me who left only
a trace of ashes from a pack of cigarets.
An image of
