Echoes of Farewells

In twilight's tender embrace, we stand,
Whispers of sorrow, drifting like sand.
Heart heavy with the weight of goodbyes,
Farewell echoes in tear-stained skies.

Ephemeral moments, like petals they fall,
Love's bittersweet melody, a haunting call.
Embraces linger, a fragile refrain,
In the symphony of loss, we dance with pain.

Eyes reflect galaxies, stories untold,
Aching souls in separation's cold hold.

Recollections were a little hazy,
His leaving party last night,
Undying friendships sworn,
That last friendly little fight.
Goodbye, Scotland the Brave,
Home of the warrior Clan,
The Batter Fried Mars Bar,
The Rangers footie fan,
Cool pints of Heavy
Plates of ‘taties and neaps,
Lining for the stomach
After boozy long sleeps.

I can't forget the last time when we huged together.
The last time we posed for a photo.
The last time we shared a laugh
The last time we teared up together.
And it was probably the last time we ever met.

Having you was a blessing.
Having you was comfort.
Having you was the best part of the journey

Torrents of tears flow
At the demise of a beloved friend
Striking into our hearts a low blow
As against sorrow ourselves we can’t defend 

Morale fallen
Strength and breadth lost

Taking a long breathe, standing firm with determination, I observed every single detail.

Depression,tension and extreme obsession,
Life has taught me many lessons,
People that come and stay for a season,
Usually impact me for a particular reason,

Voids never fill when one gets stuck in the same place,

pack your clothes and try not grieving.
Hug each other, do not cry.

Winter's over head north fast, five days later home at last.
Unload your over swollen car set up the kitchen and the bar.

Call your friends, tell them your near.
"Come on over, have a beer."

Nocturnal Farewells of Ships(For the Black Sea)

I left like the last tourist in late September
and threw a back-pack of memories over
my shoulders cherished in a fist size jewelry box
given to me by a dear friend.
But left my heart buried under
a lonely beach umbrella abandoned
by other tourists like me who left only
a trace of ashes from a pack of cigarets.
