Premium MemberSaudade of Stars

Awed blest star-struck divinely I’m gripped with hope’s bliss sublimely glowing from heaven, sparkling bright midst divine engagement that radiates parents' love… …engulfing me in their presence, warming my heart, kindling home's bond, always lingering… …yearning for eternal reunion beyond celestial glory while fulfilling stewardship duties devoid of ephemeral gain… …upheld by faith’s strength, believing in God’s promise, asserting this Scriptural truth: "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."

Premium MemberToday

Today is a day unlike any other.
Sun rises, as it always does,
Light and Life eternal,
But today we notice it
In a personal way.
Children laughing and playing
Fueled with chocolates
Eager as hounds
Hunt for eggs
As all around scents and sights,
Symbols and signs of fertility,
A whole world born again
In the particular,
Multiply and grow
With the simple innocence
Of bunnies hopping
Through wet lawns
Heavy with the morning dew
Of a fresh spring day
Unlike any other.

Premium MemberALEXANDRIA

ALEXANDRIA

I came late to Jesus,
Got cancer before my time,
Watched my husband die,
Found my baby drowned.

What did I do wrong?
Followed His church’s way,
Never missed a Sunday mass,
Confessed my sins religiously.

Refused to hear the call
For contraception—
That was not God’s way.
I made Him a dozen babies.

Why’d he punish me?
My faith wasn’t always strong.
Still, I never strayed,
Took communion regularly.

I prepare myself to meet my Maker.
Doctor says I only have a day or two.
Jesus, come to me—
Save me from eternal void.

Premium MemberScarlet thread

Souls connected through time
Coupled together by love and blood
Arranged into families
Realizing where that thread originated and
Leads, tells us who we are.
Engineered by the Creator
To bring about His will
Time to open our eyes
Hear with our ears the
Reality before us.
Evidenced by the blood lines
Aligned back and back, leading us to
Deliverance!

Premium MemberField of Forgiveness

You have caused a world of pain, making me feel like you had me by a chain. My life and spirit you did drain, I cried like a heavy rain.
Field of forgiveness is an art, one needs to make a new start. It comes from a loving heart, when one is very smart.
Forgiveness must be for me, it is not about thee. I need to be set free, then I can flee.

Premium MemberBone Beach

Bone Beach is where we first met, remember that huge wave that got us wet? I loved us walking in the sand, picking up seashells in our hand. The cool water licked our feet, the bright sun gave off too much heat. The date was over way too fast why couldn't the day last?
Bone Beach is where we will wed, our vows will be read. Both saying I do, under a pretty sky of blue. A great day it will be, with family and friend as we eat brie. The day will end way to soon, then we will be on our honeymoon.

Premium MemberWhere's The Men

WHERE ARE THE MEN

Where are the men that once lived here
few men remain of yesteryear,
Beautiful masculinity,
Artfully carved of dignity

The command and gruff within his voice,
The rough and tumble is his choice,
His love for femininity,
choosing the woman he'll wed to bear his seed

First a crown to his own mother's head,
Adjoined in the authority of his father's stead.
Takes his place within the world,
Only leaving his mother when he finds his girl.

Where are the men braving the fight for truth,
for the branding of mankind from his youth.
Where are the men, the way men were meant to be
God is calling his creation, "Come back to me!"

Premium MemberAbout My Dreams

In the evefall's sleepy blue skies
of gifts of starshine,
and in my waking thoughts of day-
there's a treasure of hope
about my dreams-
our old wounds close as
we reminisce of a youth
no longer with hurt or regret.

Where friends and foes,
families,
stop grinding axes,
and start to coexist
peacefully,
no painful strife in words
or deeds,
breathing in relief.
Where estrangement
is extinguished as if
a wanton fire in the
psyche's deep bitterness,
that dissipates with the
presence of the Lord's
angelic one's comforting. ~
