Field of Forgiveness
You have caused a world of pain,
making me feel like you had me by a chain.
My life and spirit you did drain,
I cried like a heavy rain.
Field of forgiveness is an art,
one needs to make a new start.
It comes from a loving heart,
when one is very smart.
Forgiveness must be for me,
it is not about thee.
I need to be set free,
then I can flee.
